In retrospect, maybe it was stupid of me to hope for it, but I really was hoping for Deku would straight-up stand up for himself, finally get over whatever complex he had with Bakugo, or really just any substantial change in their relationship that would show development on Deku's part, but any hope for that was dashed away in that fight where Bakugo learns about One for All.
