>Not saying how many votes

this is technically a win for Zeldris

>Nakaba is in his 40s and will likely die if he tries to make a new series because of how mangaka life is
>his final legacy will be this shitstain of a series
>his art will never be replicated
fuck

Wa… wawah!! What's that!!?
M-Magic!!!

I guess this will do…

RIP Merlin

Getting a few Urizen vibes here lol

Toubun is up, NnT should be on its way.

God I hope we get some crazy Indura fights. The Sins fighting some grotesque monsters could be a good sendoff.

>6. Mael
>7. Estarossa
I wonder how high he would be if they added these together.

Attached: Mael's_Sunshine.png (900x1352, 551K)

>Mael 6th and Estarossa 7th
Estarossa should've been higher, Mael sucks.

what about the amount of votes? Curious how high Maelstarossa would be together.

Also, looks like even the japs don't like Elizabeth.

>DK Mel wears ridiculous full body spandex and pointless gauntlets
>DK Zel has functional armor that actually looks demonic
I can already tell this is going to be a much better final boss.

Still higher than Merlin thought

Attached: 1557198461377.jpg (1920x1080, 273K)

It's funny too, Merlin the plot device isn't popular.

wasn't he just using the design of Meliodas' personal DK form? While for this one it looks like he took the time to cloth himself.

why is king so popular

People still like Mel?

Attached: The Seven Deadly Sins-172.jpg (1153x1730, 622K)

Escanor should retire from this shit mango and become a mayor.

Attached: b25.jpg (842x1200, 598K)

because we wanna fuck him and fucking fairies isn't gay.

self insert for boys and shota points for girls

Yeah the designs are the same, but the point I was making was that it looked dumb and out of place unlike this new version. I don't think it was a matter of the DK clothing himself or anything either, since DK Mel was wearing that outfit after coming out of the cocoon while DK Zel in the last chapter was still wearing his old clothes after his transformation. Perhaps one of the transformations was more complete or something.

If Meliodas still has the comnandments power what its fueling Zeldriss?

manamoa.net/bbs/board.php?bo_table=manga&wr_id=1180191

It's unclear. Mel absorbed the Commandments and was possessed by the DK but Ban managed to defeat the physical body while Mel's mind defeated another part of the DK. That caused the Commandments to get spat out but Mel still retained a large part of their power. Zeldris absorbed those remnants and might be utilizing the power of the DK's real body in Purgatory, hence the similarity in appearance. I think everyone assumed that the DK that Mel defeated in his mental world was the DK's actual body, but that should have still been stuck in Purgatory.

>Meliodas and Elizabeth tag teaming the DK
You know what I don't even mind, this is somehow cute.

Attached: Screenshot (107).png (754x550, 253K)

I can already tell Demon King will finally does because Zeldris will also fight from within and despite him being one of the direct reasons everything went to shit and whole cities got slaughtered we'll be expected to forgive him.

What a cunt.

Are the rest of the Sins going to deal with the Indura coming out of the demon realm?

Exactly as I hoped, the DK is pulling out from the demon realm all the Indra.

Attached: indra.png (700x889, 445K)

Full circle.

Attached: 5e45d79d085601b039014efae360507c.jpg (1200x873, 297K)

Zeldris worked hard to save the Demon Clan from the seal, he did absolutely nothing wrong (except those times when Nakaba would make him act dumb).

Meliodas got lostvayne back. No excuse for Ban this time, he better have his sacred weapon.

Fuck off demonfag. Stay in your fucking realm.

>King in 2nd

What do people see in him?

That's the plan. It's not Zeldris's fault the Dad can't just give him the throne for being a good boy and that some people overreact to him trying to break the seal.

Attached: ZeldrisGelda.jpg (1723x1832, 2.64M)

Meliodas does not have the commandments. Didn't you read the previous chapter? Cusack placed them into Zeldris to turn him into the Demon King.

Oh shit lads, here we go

Attached: 1549861336749.png (894x1336, 815K)

>shota turning from super beta to ultra chad
geez I wonder

>super beta to ultra chad
He didn't change personality-wise. Since the first part he would destroy those weaker than him like a stone-cold giant fucker he is. It's just that in part 2 he didn't get many fights from the position of overwhelming superiority, so instead he had to go super hot-blooded on his opponents to not die.

Attached: Sweaty Nerobasta!.png (289x365, 138K)

>Merlin, Ban, Gowther, DIane and King teleport away to fight the Indura
>Escanor and Hawk on suicide watch

Damn...

Attached: Screenshot (108).png (654x408, 245K)

About what I expected.
A little surprised it didn’t go
King
Ban
Mel
Though.

I have faith, his return will be all the more glorious.

Is there a better older brother, Yea Forums?

Attached: NnT 271 09.png (886x1300, 195K)

Remember how Ban had a little sister?

Escanor gaiden soon, I can feel it

I hope the designs and performance of the Indura don't disappoint. I also wonder if we're going to get some background on them and maybe names too. Gowther or Merlin might be familiar with some of them after all.

Escanor will show up to rescue Merlin later. He still hasn't unlocked his muscle magic. Mael might join up with him too since he needs to show off his peak power as well. If the two meet up we might learn something about how Escanor obtained Sunshine and maybe about Rosa too.

He lost it in the prison so Golgius might have it. Perhaps Ban gets knocked back by the Indura and lands somewhere near Golgius who then gives it back?

She died and then he said that Jericho reminded him of her. Oh, and one color-spread had her look at Ban and friends from the bushes. Those benign ghosts just love watching over their loved ones.
Now Jericho will teach Zeal swordsmanship.

Attached: Chapter 307 08.png (897x1300, 206K)

So I think the series will now finish sometime in mid October. It started in mid October 2012, so finishing it exactly (or close to) 7 years later will add to Nakaba's pottery.

that sounds way too soon. It's the final war, I don't want something dealt with in a few chapters.

True, but it also neatly fits into the planned 40 volumes Nakaba was been talking about for ages. I guess there's nothing stopping him from going over that number if he wants to though.

> gowther that low

Attached: 56A816B6-B9F5-46F2-84CA-EFD060EF85C0.jpg (1920x1080, 161K)

We still need Escanor and Merlin gaidens.

did he really say PRECISELY 40 volumes though? Nakaba doesn't plan out things that much.

NEROBUSTY

Attached: 1470645759458.jpg (2142x1600, 1.2M)

No, he said around/at least 40 volumes. And taking what Kishimoto said in a recent interview:
>it always takes longer than you think
I was partly joking that he would end the manga seven years to the day, anyway.

For once in his life, yeah, thats a good result for him.

Given this will be a fight between two brothers, one which isnt fully there (Posessed Zeldris/Vergils Demon half) ....Yeah.

Attached: 1553895331477.png (392x472, 300K)

>DK is actually letting out the Induras.

Lets hope so, he got a win against each of the brothers, its time for Escanor to at the very least get a chance at humiliating their dad aswell.

Attached: Escanor beating all the Brothers.jpg (1016x682, 515K)

No way Makaba will leave out Escanor like this, if they left him behind I am sure nakaba have something in store for hom.

Gaia form Diane soon

Diane is so much behind the rest, I do hope she gets some powerup.

At the Boar Hat they're talking about the DK resurrection. They're asking Meliodas who's the new vessel but he said he doesn't know he can't sense him. Elizabeth wa surprised hearing that.
In the montains, some farmer's complaining about the odd weather. The man noticed the DK and asked him if he was lost and the woman said if he's injured he can come and rest at their house.
The Demon King look at his cloths and said that a Demon King shouldn't be like that so he changed them.
He tested his power by destroying the farmer's house and said he was worried that the performance and power would be significantly lower than with Meliodas, but it's actually not bad. In fact he think he will be able to regain all his original strength. He thanked Zeldoris for being a good son and not rejecting him like his older brother.
Now he's wondering what to do, it won't take long for the Sins to find his position after noticing the self-invocation of the curse but to fully control his vessel he need a little time. But what to do ? Even the Ten Commandments cannot face the Seven Deadly Sins... he find it annoying but then he noticed the Gate. He don't know who create it but it's a good thing for him.
At the boar hat, Meliodas still playing the "I don't know" card. He asked Merlin if she closed the Gate until he go back the the Demon Realm but the mage said no worries she opened it just enough for human size to pass and it's just a one way Gate so you can't break in (she clearly don't understand who they're dealing with..). And of course she's surprised when she felt the Gate opening.

DK is calling the beasts wandering in the Underworld. The incarnation of destruction and death. Ordering them to follow their Master (him). Merlin is surprised, she thought she had closed the Gate (yeah... of course...). Gowther sensing something coming out... "Come ! Induras !!" Said the Demon King
By their power, Merlin concluded they're "Induras", the legendary beasts of the Underworld. King asked Escanor to go inform King Bartra and the Holy Knights and Ban tell the others go. Since the Demon King isn't on the move they'll take care of the monster.
Meliodas want to say something but Diane stopped him saying that he need to stay with Elizabeth. Ban explained that now Elizabeth's curse is back he need to stay with her since he's DK level.
Mel understood and asked them to be careful.
With the others out, Elizabeth asked why he lied about the Demon King's vessel being Zeldoris. He explained her that the DK is his and Zeldoris' problem he don't want the others to get caught in but he can't leave her too so he doesn't know what to do.
"Go" she said. She gave him his ST Lostvayne saying she keep it for him.
"You don't want to leave me but you also can't give up on your brother a third time so I'll go with you" she explained (what a Genius !).
He told her she's the most precious thing for him and then asked her if she'll fight besides him once more.
They're leaving and he's remembering the past, saying that since the day he decided to leave the Underworld 3000y ago she grab his hand and never let him go no matter blablabla...
"Let's rescue him"

End.

Fucking Merlin

>They're leaving and he's remembering the past
I hope Nakaba isn't going to cockblock us from the Indura stuff to show Mel and Elizabeth's first meeting now.

>"Let's rescue him"

Maybe if you thought that a bit sooner while he was dying on the ground a few dozen of meters besides you, this situation would have never happened.

Merlin's Alzheimers sure is troubling

What kind of a sword is he going to use in this form? A small sword like Mel and Zel or a hulking greatsword like his original form?

why does the DK even need Merlin's portal, that's kinda shitting on him.

Thats his prize for thinking only with his dick and about angelic titties.

Its already there, so might aswell use it i suppose.

Meliodas and Merlin are the liter worst

So the demon king plotted over thousand of years to take over Mel's body, with a intrincated plan that involves: Cursing Mel to die over and over again until he is empty of emotions. And he got rejected and lost even so

And after all that he just realizes his other son is as good vessel as Mel and he didnt need to plot anything to take over his body? What a fucking genius!

I figured that the DK would go to the Demon Realm for the final battle but if he can't open a portal on his own then that can't be the case. That basically leaves the large open arena where the DK and the SD originally cursed Mel and Eli as the most likely location for the final battle. Perhaps the DK will find the fragments of Mel's original sword there and use that as his weapon?

>No Merlin
>best girl Elizabeth that low
Japs are fucking gay confirmed

Why would you self insert into the shota when based fucking Ban is around?

Zel is a weaker vessel than Mel and the DK wanted the best one he could get. He knew Mel would never be able to escape the curse so why rush things? What's interesting is that the curses happened before the Holy War ended, which means the DK presumably intended to steal Mel's body even before he was trapped in Purgatory.

Since Merlin didn't bother just closing the portal and opening a new one later it suggests that it probably takes some time or preparation to do it. The DK needs to fully recover his powers so he doesn't have time for that right now.

>Merlin already knew DK was around and still left the portal open
durrr

who wouldnt want to insert it into a shota

I can kind of understand, he's patient and felt he might as well get the best he can.

Because I'm a grown-ass man also Ban has the qt loli gf, I'm not into crawling into giant pussy

>tfw Escanor was too powerful and had to be written out of the story, therefore the One will go undefeated while Mael will now be the one to job to show how much the BBEG is strong.

What? That's literally anybody but King, he's like the basedest out of all of them but gowther.

Escanor is a good example of someone with a lot of self inserters. Ban too.

Oh fuck I forgot S.o.Y was censored

>he's like the basedest out of all of them
You mean a spineless beta cuck? like any self insert MC ever?

>Escanor bulks up massively at noon while Mael's appearance stays the same
>Escanor activated his buff form at night during the tournament, but couldn't use sun attacks until after summoning Rhitta
>Escanor was able to withstand Sunshine for decades even though he's only a human, while Solaseed aged like a decade after using Tornado for like a month
Escanor is not out of the game yet. The last time he managed to activate his actual powers during the tournament it was because he was focusing on Merlin. If Merlin ends up in trouble and Escanor starts worrying about her he will unlock his real magic power.

Do you think his personality change is caused by Sunshine or something else?

At the very least it has to be connected to it in some way so either Sunshine causes his transformation which causes his pride to flare up or Sunshine makes him more prideful which causes his muscles to grow. I remember some theories from years ago about how he's basically The Hulk but instead of powering up as he gets angrier he powers up as he gets more prideful and shit talks his enemies more. Night Escanor apparently dislikes his day version so I'd assume that the change in personality is not entirely voluntary. I can't see Nakaba giving night Escanor's timid personality to his buff form and especially not to his The One form, so I think it probably wasn't directly caused by Sunshine, especially since Mael's personality isn't affected either.

Maybe Escanor's case is because Sunshine's growing power during the day threatens to rip his human body apart, so his magic ability subconsciously activates to contain that power by growing and strengthening his body enough to handle it, which has a side effect of causing his personality to change. That way he would still have access to his muscle form without Sunshine and even to some sun based attacks using Rhitta's power. The only difference would be that he's a bit weaker but in exchange he's able to activate his power including The One at any time, which seems like a fair end game buff, at least enough to get him to Ban and King's level.

Those are people of culture, fortunately you won't never understand good culture.

7. Mael
>7. Estarossa
I see this as a win

Attached: file.png (1590x894, 781K)

>ruin kings looks
>still gets second

If Demon Daddy's body is still in Purgatory, shouldn't he use his time to bring it out? Maybe he can get a power-up from absorbing it.

>Finally turning the cry-baby shouta into a mature Chad prepared to fuck his Giant Waifu

The real dissapointment is him not being the first one in the poll.

The DK is trapped in Purgatory so he probably can't just bring it out like that. Perhaps the similar looking armor that DK Zeldris summoned is him utilizing his real body's powers?

The DK could really use a flashback to explain what the deal with him is. Where did he come from and he did he manage to obtain godlike powers and create an entirely new race of beings? Since when did he decide he needed a new body and why, if he can live forever anyway? What's his relationship to the SD? They were at war and the SD had his entire clan including the DK sealed, but they still cursed their children together. How did he even end up in Purgatory in the first place if the gateway was too small for him to go through? If he used a different portal like Ban or Merlin's father then why couldn't he just do that again? Forget about Mel's gaiden or Merlin's gaiden, what we really need is the DK's gaiden.

But he is still a shota, he just needs to be drained of energy so that he can no longer maintain his new form.

only during minutes, maybe an hour at most. Then he will be Chad again.
Anyway I dont see any problem, it's a character who can be shouta and chad in any moment. It's a win/win.

>king Nº2
Japan always surprises with their shit taste.

The shit of the shits is being an Escanor fan

ban is not fucking diane

Attached: __diane_nanatsu_no_taizai_drawn_by_wa_genryusui__900cad231e9224ce82278959396434ae.jpg (2507x3541, 637K)

Cusack kidnapped Zeldris before the DK was defeated. They were too busy at the time.

The kidnapping happened just after the DK had been defeated. The Sins were too busy celebrating to notice.

Some horrifying demon that he had sealed in the corners of the demon realm that he summons to earth. It transforms into some hideous soul caliber tier blinking giant greatsword that drinks blood and life energy of the DKs enemies

> before the DK was defeated.

Totally wrong, reread it. It happened after DK was defeated, they were celebrating on their side while ignoring Zeldris. Cusack was given enough time to see the commandments, kill chandler, and take both the commandments and Zeldris.

Attached: diane_b.jpg (1112x1200, 854K)

Cusack is a fast guy.

I've only ever played Soul Calibur once but I actually thought of something similar with regards to that same character. Then again he already has an eye in his chest so perhaps it would be too much.

he was exhausted while Merlin, Elizabeth, Gowther, Meliodas, plenty could have noticed if they actually paid attention and if they cared about Zeldris at all. The DK was defeated, Meliodas was fine, but Elizabeth and the rest would rather come see him and celebrate than go help Zeldris.

To be fair, Zeldris tried to murder them hours ago, and Mel is their friend. Also they couldn't have known that Cusack survived and was on the move. They did check for Zel later.

> Zeldris tried to murder them hours ago, and Mel is their friend

He also just helped them beat the DK, and celebrating with Mel could have waited a few minutes.

> They did check for Zel later.
5 minutes later, woah.

They grossly underestimated the two masters, there isn't much excuse to give, they celebrated too early and it came back righti n their ass.

Is Nakaba finally going to explain what the different types of Indura are? The ones that were bestowed Commandments by the DK and turned into Indura are the Indura of Favor. If we assume that the type refers to the method of creation then I guess Favor refers to how they were bestowed power by the DK and then sacrificed their hearts for him? The other types are
>Ashes - Some kind of a phoenix reference maybe? Like a 2nd generation Indura born from the ashes of a previous one after it had died? In a way this would be their way of reproducing.
>Time - Demons who lived for so long that they turned into monsters on their own?
>Resentment - Demons that turned themselves into Indura not out of loyalty to the DK, but out of hatred?
>Thunder - Perhaps based on the old cliche of a convenient lightning bolt causing a chemical reaction or a mutation in whatever it struck? Basically Indura born completely accidentally like some kind of natural disasters.
>Retribution - Demons that were turned into Indura by other people against their will?

That really works only with Mel, Elizabeth, Mael and maybe Ban. Everyone else saw Zeldris as an enemy and his help against the DK could be interpreted in many ways. And Zel's wound didn't seem all that bad considering the Demons' regeneration, and he is the Demon royalty, while Mael at least had his own dying/disappearing brother to worry about. The other three went to celebrate the victory too soon and checked on everyone's well-being a bit too late.

Attached: 1529338318415.jpg (4074x3056, 3.85M)

Mael at least had an excuse, the rest didn't. Especially the useless "is an equal to Meliodas and Mael" Elizabeth.

I interpreted the rest of the titles besides Favor as the personal ones for individual Indura.

I just think his power is that he has a nigh unlimited potential to harness and absorb energy by transforming it into pure physical might and THE SUN was just a big mass of it that he had control over it.

His arrogance is less a side effect of his power and more a quirk of his personality in my opinion. He's been bullied and picked on his entire life as a child and themoment he gained power he stopped those bullies. He's tormented by his past and hates his own power as much as he is proud of it and who he is and how he is able to protect those he cares for.

It's the difference between a man who's been taking care of himself and lives a proud life and that same man who doesn't take care of himself and feels that he is weak and incapable of doing anything.

The true escacanor in my opinion is the escanor that we saw in that tournament. The weak meek man who grew strong and proud not because of his own might and the feeling that he could accomplish anythign and actually could but

The meek barkeep who believed in himself and instead of the cowardice of letting himself become that arrogant man walked towards the sunlight and proudly took hold of his own strength. Self assuredness but not blind arrogance.

That was the first and last time we see the true Escanor.

As for Merlin. They need to dump that entire thing. It's bad.

I'm not sure that would work since apparently there are a bunch of them roaming around the demon realm. Cusack talked about feeding people to them and in the movie Merlin mentioned that they even attack the demons occasionally. If there were only five + the very rare instances of Commandments turning into one then they probably wouldn't even come into contact with the other demons much. But I suppose it's possible.

They are gigantic and second in power only to the Demon King, I don't think it's hard for them to attack some Demons especially if they look like a good source of food. I don't know how many there are but even 20 sounds like a huge number for them.

It seems like there might be fare more powerful beings in the demon world then the demon king and he and the commandments are kind of the first guard to stop or control them.

Maybe there are powerful dukes in the demon world that are on par with him but don't have whatever they need to be the king of demonworld

>As for Merlin. They need to dump that entire thing. It's bad.
Everything was fine until this. She's always on his mind and good part of his interactions are with her. The thought of her apparently allowed him to use Sunshine at night (until we get a serious explanation of how it works) and during the fight with Zeldris he ignored his own safety to protect her.
If at the end they don't end up together he'll go down in history not as THE ONE but as the loser who didn't get the girl (even more if the cuse of this is Arthur)

>Sun Escanor
Yeah, I'm thinking he's back

Attached: 1542047065287.png (1210x1299, 586K)

Nah, no way it seems like that. The setting already has at least 3 gods, and 2 of them fittingly rule over their respective realms, having 1 of them be troubled with powerful god infestation on his goddamn lawn that he can do nothing about is very unlikely, especially when nothing in the story ever hinted at that.

I don't think the numbers are really an issue. Meliodas stated that the Indura aren't immortal, they will eventually burn out and die. If Favor and the other 5 types were already a thing 3000 years ago then surely they would have died already by now? I think it makes more sense that they would be part of the natural fauna of the demon realm. They have their prey and potentially their predators in each other and there's a supply of new ones to replace the old ones that have died. Sometimes they have to be fought by the intelligent demons and sometimes they can be used like lions in the Colosseum to feed disrespectful gladiators to.

I don't think there is anything even remotely close to the DK in the demon world. The Original Demon was said to have been the second strongest demon who once tried to rebel against the DK but even he completely paled in comparison. The reason the DK split his power to the Commandments was to rule the realm more easily, so it's possible there are some demons who would rebel against him, but they should be a rarity and too weak to even match the Commandments.

Attached: o004.jpg (869x1249, 241K)

>Meliodas stated that the Indura aren't immortal, they will eventually burn out and die
Pretty sure it applied only to Derrieri and Monspiet because they were stuck in the earth realm. I assume Induras back home don't get such problems because the Demon realm is bursting with bad demonic energy and miasma and that's like oxygen or some vitamin for them.

I don't think there was anything said about the environment they're in affecting them.

I think there being only 5 of them would be better, since it would probably result in more distinct designs and perhaps backstories for them, but that was never the impression I got from any of the comments regarding them during the course of the series.

I know.
It was an attempt to give Escanor a reason to be part of the Sins and a weakness.
But it became something that ruins his character as we came to know more and more about Merlin and how fairly weak she is as a character.

I think it adds more to it.
The god of the demon world is ruling over the demons as it's king with god like power but he's not necessariyl the most powerful

Just as the goddess rules over the angels while there are things and phenomenon that are more powerful then her there.

Actually now that I think of it Baruja in the movie was called an Indura of Retribution, so if they were titles then there would only be 4 more left. Merlin did speak about them in plural though(at least in the translation), but it's unclear whether it's canon and whether she was talking about the Indura of Retribution specifically or just the Indura as a whole.

>with god like power but he's not necessariyl the most powerful
That's ridiculous DB level shit. The DK has an entire realm to himself along with an entire clan under his control. He can live for a billion years, reverse magic effects and curse people to reincarnate for an eternity. Anything more than that would be absurd and completely out of place in the series.

>I don't think there was anything said about the environment they're in affecting them
There wasn't. But remember: the Indura are made when the demons willingly succumb to the Darkness inside them, so the Indura are the manifestation of the Demons's demonic nature, would it be such a stretch to assume that they will like the Demon realm? Plus, consider the following: only in that bonus page that was posted in that thread we learned that the Indura exist in the Demon realm, but instead of quickly rampaging and dying (I don't think Meliodas would call them dying on their own a safe bet even if it took months, let alone years, since in that time while rampaging they could destroy the whole Britannia and then some other lands), they are said to wander through it. The same with Baruja in the bonus page, Galand wonders if his friend is still somewhere out there, wandering who knows there. He doesn't know that Baruja was sealed and just like Meliodas he knows about the Indura, yet he still thinks that Baruja is most likely alive.

Plus, Indura are made only if the high-ranked demon of considerable power sacrifices six of his hearts. Now consider how many high-ranked demons are out there, especially if not all civilian demons (who seem to be different from low-ranked demons) are high-ranked. Now consider how many high-ranked demons there was by the time of the Holy War. I'll help you: only 6 confirmed, 7 if Papa Gowther was VERY powerful too. Out of those six 2 were ancient and mightiest demons, 2 were Princes and the children of their godly ruler, and only 2 left weren't of any special heritage. I don't think their number would allow Indura to be a constant feature on the Demon Realm's landscape unless they could survive in the Demon Realm.

And that's why I think the Indura in the Demon realm are pretty much all the Demons that ever had to resort to turn into the Indura and why I think that they aren't at any risk of dying besides due to external factors cont.

The external factors:

1) the Demon King forgetting to lead them back to the Demon realm which is their home;
2) the Sins being too savage and OP

>Now consider how many high-ranked demons there was by the time of the Holy War
*high-ranked demons with the power levels exceeding 50k

Cause not everyone here is a pedo.

Ree, why do MS scans always fuck up the details by making everything so fucking dark.

>would it be such a stretch to assume that they will like the Demon realm
No, the thing I considered a stretch was that they would thrive in the apparently toxic(or whatever Merlin described it as) demon realm for thousands of years but somehow die very quickly in the relatively harmless Britannia. Mel and the TC were also from the demon realm but they were fine in Britannia and so were the reds, grays, blues and whatever other colors of grunt demons there were.

>Plus, Indura are made only if the high-ranked demon of considerable power sacrifices six of his hearts
I think you're overlooking something here. If every time someone sacrificed their hearts to turn into an Indura they were given a title, then Mon and Derri wouldn't share an already existing title. The Favor Induras are created when those bestowed with Commandments sacrifice their hearts. As far as we know Baruja was never in the TC, which might explain why his type was Retribution, or it could be because he turned into an Indura in some other way. Him turning into one through some other method might also be supported by the point you made about Galand wondering about Baruja's whereabouts, since it implies Galand didn't expect him to die anytime soon like the Favors. If the titles are different then there must be something different about the creation and role of the shared Favor Induras compared to all the other types which you suggest are unique.

>No, the thing I considered a stretch was that they would thrive in the apparently toxic(or whatever Merlin described it as) demon realm
Toxic for other races, not demons. Those toxins turned a cute snake into a cute high-ranked demoness snake so they are 100% certified Demonic Darkness juice. So Darkness of the land would be very beneficial for the health of the creatures that completely surrendered to Darkness within them, that's how I see it.
>the relatively harmless Britannia
That lacks the Demonic juices of the Demon realm.
>Mel and the TC were also from the demon realm but they were fine in Britannia and so were the reds, grays, blues and whatever other colors of grunt demons there were
Well, they keep their Darkness nature under control instead of letting it loose in a ritual.

>If the titles are different then there must be something different about the creation and role of the shared Favor Induras compared to all the other types which you suggest are unique
That can also be true but for now I don't see it like that. As I already said, I see it as: a Commandment turns into an Indura > that Indura is automatically considered the Favor one. Demons speculate or know about the reasons behind an individual's transformation > the Indura gets a cool nickname too. So according to my understanding, nothing stops Baruja from being both the Indura of Retribution AND Favor.

>Toxic for other races, not demons.
I get that, but if they adapted to be able to withstand something like that then a much less hazardous environment shouldn't be a problem, and it isn't for any other type of demon. It's not like Mera is struggling to breathe in Britannia or experiences her skin melting due to the rain or something. It seems to me more like losing 6 of their hearts to forcefully corrupt themselves into monsters is what's the issue, not the weather in Britannia. Or perhaps it's the Commandment that's doing it, since that seems to be what makes the Favors special. Either the Indura transformation causes it to be absorbed which would explain why they continued mutating kind of like Estarossa in his darkness form, why the symbols on their faces disappeared when Mon and Derri were purified and why they eventually die as their bodies can't contain it in the long term. Or maybe the DK just doesn't feel like hunting down the Indura later to get his Commandments back so he made it so the Favors would die on their own after a while.

>That lacks the Demonic juices of the Demon realm
No other demon has ever been mentioned as needing that in order to survive.

>nothing stops Baruja from being both the Indura of Retribution AND Favor
Was he called anything other than an Indura of Retribution? Also you make them sound more like titles than types. A type implies some sort of a classification rather than just a cool nickname, which is why Favor was listed as one of the types.

Proper final boss appearance.

He looks like a JRPG character. I bet he's going to go all one-winged angel at some point.

>I get that, but if they adapted to be able to withstand something like that then a much less hazardous environment shouldn't be a problem, and it isn't for any other type of demon. It's not like Mera is struggling to breathe in Britannia or experiences her skin melting due to the rain or something
The normal demons are fine in both environments but Indura that are creatures who have fully committed to Darkness can survive and feel comfortable only in Darkness, i.e. the Demon Realm.

>No other demon has ever been mentioned as needing that in order to survive
They aren't Indura who lost their control of Darkness and fully committed themselves to it.

And on toxins of the Demon Realm and darkness power of the Demons being the same: first there's blood of Demons which, just like when coming in contact with the toxins, can either kill or demonize the ones drinking it; second there's the unconscious evil Meliodas after his fight with Escanor, his body started to let loose his darkness and made it terrible to breathe in one room with him so Merlin promptly quarantined him while warning everybody (and especially Eli) about how dangerous it was to stay with him.

Your theories seem quite interesting and can be true for all I know but I still think that my interpretation is plausible too.

>Also you make them sound more like titles than types. A type implies some sort of a classification rather than just a cool nickname, which is why Favor was listed as one of the types
As far as I can see in (my Japanese is good for checking the dictionary and making guesses), it is just said that the former members of the Commandments are called the Indura of Favor. And that furthermore there are Induras with titles (prefixes in Japanese) like Ashes and other roaming the Demon realm. I guess it can mean that they and Favors are each their own unique type. Hopefully, Nakaba (fucking Merlin, Demon King, Hawk) will explain more about them.

One of the Indras has that royal family Indra look doesn't it? Tall, noodly with pointy bits.

Demon King Zeldris already looked very cool even just in his old torn clothes. Maybe it's my inner Zelfag speaking but I think both Demon King Zels look far superior to Demon King Meliodas.

Pls bring back cool escanor

Looks more like some kind of banshee to me, kind of like Cusack's aura when facing Arthur. None of the sketches have the mantis claws that came out of the gate so Nakaba may not even use them.

>Hopefully, Nakaba (fucking Merlin, Demon King, Hawk) will explain more about them.
It's kind of funny how the demon clan has been in the spotlight for most of the story but we still don't know much about them beyond the members and the drama. Things like where the DK's origins, the Indura, why they have such varied appearances, etc. We haven't even properly seen the demon realm, just some random locations in flashbacks.

>Your theories seem quite interesting and can be true for all I know but I still think that my interpretation is plausible too.
Yeah fair enough. We kind of need more information which will likely happen in the next few weeks.

Reminder that the Demon King failed so spectacularly only to emulate the prerequisites to Fraudrin's greatest success and make sure that the luck he would acquire from such a blunder will just make it all work out somehow. Just like Fraudrin got nuked into ground and came back as the savior of the Demonkind, Demon King got very painfully and embarrassingly expelled from Meliodas's body and now he is out there looking fresh and stylish in his youngest son's body, destroying random farmers' houses while not touching said random farmers and fully opening the gates that Merlin forgot to close.

Then you're wrong.

Nah, its definitely a better design than Mels silly bodysuit.

Relax, Nakaba isn't going to leave the 4th most popular character out of the final battle. Chances are he's going to unlock a permanent The One and brawl one of the Indura to death. He'll change classes from a magic knight to a monk.

permanent the one would mean nerfing it which I would hate
Maybe escanor sholdn't be part of the final battle but kill the supreme goddess or something

He's already nerfed because he lost Sunshine. A permanent The One would just put him back up to the top tiers along with King and Ban.

>why they have such varied appearances
Well, the Fairy King's subjects seem quite diverse too, and though out of all extra angelic designs for various Goddesses only Tarmiel got to shine in the manga proper we can assume he is not the only freaky one out there. The answer can be that they just are like that.

he'll get it back
he lent it to mael

It was causing him health issues, I doubt he wants it back at this point especially when he can just unlock his own magic.

>Q310. Achisman-san (From India): Do Meliodas and his brother have a mother?
>Nakaba: I'd assume so.
Is she going to show up? Maybe she was spared the seal and has been ruling the Demon Realm in the DK's absence.
