i started reading a week ago and there was not a single scene where Kochou and Inosuke did this up until it was made up here to create sudden emotions

He's been nursed back to health at her house between literally every fight he's been in, shown or otherwise, we know this, it's so within the realms of possibility it might as well have been shown you speedreading twat.

When the anime gets to it, do you think it will adapt the Kanao bonus chapter? I feel like it's kind of a large chunk of her character, I don't know why it wasn't just a flashback like the others.

It's not about it "being in the realm of possibility". Anything could be in the realm of possibility. It's that no real relationship was ever shown to the audience between them, so this still feels like it comes out of left field for the sake of quick and easy emotions. It doesn't matter if you can infer something happened during that loose period of time, because in the end we still weren't shown anything between them and yet the author thinks three panels of a relationship that we never really knew somehow do the trick.

I think they will, the only bonus chapter I'm not so sure about is the Inosuke one.

Not to mention that after Red district arc both Zenitsu and Inosuke stood there and it wouldn't be out of the place to think they have developed a good relationship with the butter girls.

It wasn't meant to show they were the deepest of friends, just to remind us that Shinobu's death does mean something to Inosuke. Since he knew her it's completely unsurprising that he'd have a good memory of her.

It was a bonus chapter within WSJ itself that followed the regular chapter. It actually would have been better if we got more flashbacks that way to be honest (like the Inosuke one). That way we can get reveals naturally instead of in the most dramatic moments. What possible way could you get a flashback to when Shinobu and Kanao met that wasn't forced as fuck? It had to be separate.

Right out of the mangakas deepest asshole regions, we never saw or got a hint anyone of the trio besides Tanjiro had any real connection to the insect pillar, but we had to get some emotional investment of inosuke into the fight.

At this point i wont be suprised if this series's real MC are the flashbacks, iirc the entire fucking asshole-fellow-lightning-user that turned into a demon got its existence justified via flashbacks as well, cant remember having read any mention of such a char before this arc began, so a full on: its some deeeeep asspull.

Thats some nice headcanon,if only the story showed us one or two such moments of them interacting like it did with inosuke and the girls right after tanjiro woke up.

Zenitsu´s wack ass arc was pretty shoddy, but just showing that Inosuke had like at least 1 moment with the person he's been staying at for a considerable amount of time, isn't groundbreaking or shit. You could've literally deduced this from the fact that Inosuke has been shown to have a fucking heart before, and that he's stayed at her house for a long ass time, if you weren't such a brainlet speedreader.
