Oh, I love the direction you took, designing your own outfit based on the ones in my request! I love how your idea stuck to the main theme of the outfits in my request, while still bringing in your own interpretations and ideas. The stars you've sprinkled on the outfit&background really add a nice flair to it. It's also adorable how the outfit seems to be a few sizes to big on her, making it look baggy on her small stature. Plus the small touch with her camisole straps being visible, that's kinda my thing right there. The outfit, and especially the colorscheme, suit her even better than I thought it would! No doubt it's also thanks to your clean coloring and shading! Your style in general really captures Homura's cuteness well, and as the other user said, it's a nice mixture of your own style as well as elements from her canon artstyle. That's the issue. My mediocre skills ensure anything I don't go full tryhard on ends up being an ugly mess (not that things I do put lots of effort into turn out much better), and my perfectionism won't allow that. It's very tiresome.

Same, the lack of shame and/or self awareness is both astounding and enviable.

I know it's easier said than done, but you just gotta make it a habit again. One of the reasons you don't enjoy drawing right now is because you associate it with those negative, frustrating feelings. So all you can do is make new memories to associate with - fun ones. Draw literally anything you want. Maybe make up your own SI. It'll take some time but you'll be okay.

For instance, I finally draw even if I've been avoiding it if I have a facial expression in my head that I really want to see drawn out. Or something so amusing/funny I need to see it right away. You're the only you. Create for yourself, and expand from that.

I don't know if this helps you, but for me, just drawing whatever stupid shit comes to mind helps. I want to see the silly idea more than I want to avoid making a poor drawing. Also, drawing in "less professional" programs or media, like mspaint or crayons, takes the pressure off.
