Anime, yes. But I can't remember Ayano directly being a cunt to anyone in the manga, all her ''issues'' are internal.

I don't remember her being mean to Connie in the manga, she's just saving it for the court after they parted amicably with a rematch promise.

Thanks for the chapter. Ayano is such a sinful woman.

Maybe not directly, but she definitely still holds a grudge and doesn't particularly want to be involved with her. It probably stems from her mommy issues more than anything, but she still treats Connie like an outsider even though she has a vested interest in their family dynamic. That's one of her main issues, she gets caught up in her grudges and victim complex and doesn't consider those of other people. Which is the source of the irony of this whole match.

Connie looks amazing with short hair. Much better than Nagisa.

I don't remember any of that and I read all the chapters recently. The first time Ayano and Connie met, Ayano just played almost automatically and didn't really think much of Connie at all, so she wasn't holding any grudges (she did hold a grudge in the anime).
I think maybe you're mixing manga and anime stuff.

>I honestly can't recall be being that horrible in the manga She wasn't. I think she thinks that way because Kaoruko told her that or something. But Kaoruko was screwing around. No idea why Ayano took it so seriously.

>No idea why Ayano took it so seriously. Ayanon is a dork
That's not a grudge. A grudge is like in the anime when she was being a total bitch to Connie. Here Ayano keeps herself perfectly polite. That's not what you would describe as a "terrible personality" which is how she thinks of herself.
If anything, that proves Ayano has a overly exaggerated bad opinion of herself. That's what she needs to change, not her personality.
