He really hams it up in a grade b way. Until clarification I'll continue to hold on to hope that this is a fandub. It has the Toho logo at the start and that symbol at the bottom of the screen during the opening name animation, none of the originally dubbed movies had that. Though if this is the BZ dub then it might have been like their Dragonball Super, which was released only for english speaking areas of Southeastern Asia (iirc), which may keep that stuff. It's concerning but some of these voices kinda sound like what I've heard on Toonami dubs. I swear that sounds like Hunter x Hunter voices but I can't be sure. Sometimes Conan shifts into a Gon voice.
No voice actors are in the credits, which seems fandub tier to me. But there are so many conflicting things that it would be best to wait for an answer.

I'm going to just call this the bang zoom dub. There's no reason for arabic all over a fandub, the subtitling thing was pointed out, the mics used for the fandub by the InfinityProductions guys seem really low quality while these sound recorded in an actual booth, I even joined their damn discord just to ask and it seems agreed its the BZ dub, I gave them the opening track clip. I skipped around on the video using the mega link on the torrent description since downloading it would take too long right now, the filter used for a guy speaking on TV sounds legit whereas a fandub likely wouldn't do that.
Also Conan really fucking sounds like Gon and that was exactly what I didn't fucking want from the beginning. I repeatedly voiced disagreement with that direction in other threads.

Dubs fluctuate in quality, I don't care about the fucking americanization drama, Case Closed sounded better than this. All bang zoom dubs I've heard have this air of amateurness somewhere in it. Funimation isn't that great but CC sounded like the actors cared, this shit sounds artificial and fandub tier at the same time. When I heard the delivery in that OP clip at the end of "but my IQ hAAsnt" I thought this was the fandub by the IP guys. Hearing this makes me feel ill.

Their lame jokes aside, what I liked about their performances was that I thought their Shinichi/Conan actually came closer to his original personality than any of the English dubs I've heard so far. While Case Closed wasn't a bad dub by US dub standards, they didn't really convey much of his original macho persona, and the fact that his normal manner of speaking is in a rough-sounding working class Tokyo Shitamachi dialect when he's being himself and not putting on the cute arere~? act. Giving his English a slight bit of "urban" flair like that parody dub did could make some sense in an Americanization context.

It's not Amuro himself being ambiguously gay that bugs me, it's having Conan ask him that question that he's "been wanting to ask," and the way it's directed with him giving Amuro that lingering look. Knowing how popular Amuro x Conan/Shinichi is, the whole thing seems set up to make it look like Conan is interested in him that way. It's really bizarre and I kind of doubt Gosho has enough creative control over the movies anymore to say no to that kind of stuff even if he wanted to.
