Classmate-chan is pretty unfazed by these bloodsucking incidents
Gegege no Kitaro #57
*jobs*
to be fair that probably doesn't seem like a big deal when a giant demon baby nuked the city not too long ago
This was my reaction too
My sides.
Just started this and it seems pretty fun.
Penanggal hype.
The melodic metal rendition was pretty dope.
Next week Kitaro is ground into surimi and looks like Ratman is an accomplice in this version. I hope I don't need to hear his sob story ever again.
Nekomusume's been jobbing since the sixties.
My fucking sides, the fuck is this episode?
So much for a noble vampire.
The yokai hunter was right this episode.
Kitaro's too soft.
so has mana gotten neko's barbed cock yet?
>yeah sure, please continue killing in another country
Fucking yokai.
They still show he's baaaad because he let the human accomplice go just because he's human.
>Nurikabe
>Sunakake Babaa
>Konaki Jijii
>Ittan Momen
What is the point of these characters? They never fucking do anything and have barely any personality yet are always so prominently featured in the OP and EDs. Was it it the same throughout all the past Kitaro series?
They do a decent amount, got Kitaro out of several sticky situations.
Now if you'd have said Nekomusume, I'd agree...she's like the deutragonist alongside Mana, and she always jobs. But she's nice eye candy at least.
Ittan Momen is still incredibly useful in this version.
Ittan Momen still helps a lot, although mostly as a vehicle. He sucks at fighting. If Kitaro could fly he would have nothing to do.
This is the first chapter of magazine (non-kashihon) Kitaro ever.
I mean, I get that but they're more like convenient plot devices in certain situations than real characters. I guess I just want a reason to care about them or other characters for Kitaro, Neko and Nezumi to bounce off of,
there are yokai-of-the-week I've felt way more attached to or have had better chemistry with those 'core' 3.
They've been a bit more prominent before. Kids like repetition and regularity more than us I guess, there's a reason why Kitaro blew up with the anime(s) with a shounen anime set of named attacks like remocon geta and slowly added more conventions like the gang and their own attacks.
The vampire is dead and everyone sings.
Thought the anime would end with them suffocating and burned to death but I kinda like it that they remembered the roided up henchman which I already forgot his name now and a noble vampire should have enough power to bash through the door.
