The game centers around a group of childhood friends who live in a town full of samurai descendants and martial artists, which you can find ocasionally fighting each other. There's five routes for the main heroines and other subroutes for the side girls and other guys in the group. The writing for the characters is amazing, they all have their own unique personalities which complement extremely well with each other. The humour is great too, if you like character focus and interaction centered VN then you'll love it.

You must be new to scanlation. Nobody pays them per page or chapter or anything, but donate. There's no shortage of groups who pick up something that becomes popular, then gradually slow releases to a trickle, if donations keep coming in, they tend to not bother until enough people start nagging or income drops below a certain level.
And they all aggressively claim "ownership" over series that become popular because they're cash cows.
