What does the "isekai" concept add to a story?
If nothing, why does it keep happening?
Has any series actually dealt with the worldbuilding implications of multiple worlds?

I miss chiya so much. Season 2 when?

Muv-Luv did it a lot.
relatele
It's a way of shitting out hundreds of manga without proper worldbuilding.
The Urara manga has just ended, so never ever I'm afraid.
probably never since the manga is over
Easy exposition to explain the setting to the reader since the protagonist is unfamiliar with it
this, if any of you remember it
Wizard of Oz is the best isekai
mostly relatability
It's basically an unofficial "franchise" at this point that anyone can jump in without licensing costs. You get a certain fanbase to check it out just because it's an isekai.
Fugggggggg, did they succeed? What next. rhombus ending.
Well Slime mentioned that Earth’s monsters came from the other world
Nooooo. The manga was so cute! I hope it ended on a happy note.
If they annouce a season 2 by pure chance, I'd be the happiest user in the world. More urara meriochou SOL is always good to have.
in the early 2020s we will get the madoka of isekai and everyone will say it's the best anime ever despite doing nothing new in particular.
Then eventually everyone will realize that it was all done already years ago when all of the isekai babbys were too young to watch anime.
Urara is the worst selling kirara adaptation alongside Stella no mahou, so never ever. Your only hope if you want more urara is to play kirara Fantasia, the urara chapter of the main story just got full voice acting, and chiya has two full voice mini stories for her character weapons while Nono has one. Miss Plum and Kon are also overdue for voiced stories as well. It's all in Japanese but I think there are people from Reddit doing translations
It's supposed to give the author an easy excuse for exposition. "X? What's that?" "Did you hit your head? Allow me to explain...".
I'm actually watching this right now
Slayers has.
Tales of Symphonia is built upon the idea of two worlds in conflict because Half Elves are running a sort of magical scam on them where when one world is on the up and up the other is in decline
it's called trope
it's being used by incompetent shitty writers to gain profit with zero to no effort
>kirara Fantasia
I've never heard of it until now. Thanks for the tip user. I'll download it on my phone. I guess the only thing left to do to show my support of the manga creator and anime is to buy the bluray and chiya figurine.
