Why did they let the TTGL episode 4 guy direct an episode? What the fuck where they thinking?
Did nip land hate it as much as we did? Is he finally blacklisted from ever directing anime?

>entertaining
There is also a fair amount of suffering, but sure.

>but actually entertaining right?

You take that back!

They are completely different genres and stories anyway so I fail to see why you try and shitpost with such a dumb analogy.

i want to adopt a dororo daughter(gf)

He's a person with connections, so he'll always find a way. He was also the first ED director.

Okay so why didn’t Dororos dad use the money to take care of his wife and child? Was getting it stolen by random assholes part of his plan? Was he just retarded?

Its really fucking stupid.
What's the point of hoarding the money for some grand revolution when you die and can't use it? He was loaded so taking a couple gold wouldn't have changed squat and if the money he had hoarded up would've been wasted by he and his wife in 3 years then it sure as hell wasn't enough to start a revolution.

Biggest plot hole in the series.

the tribe niggers would have figured out something is up

in what fucking way is it like mushishi ? never even crossed my mind

>monster of the week
>set in Japan
>both characters has a hairstyle which covers one eye
>both are travelling around the country
Seriously? You guys never caught the similarities?

...bros?

That's just because they're both inspired by Kitaro.
Hyakki's hair isn't nearly as gravity-defying either

solo doujins of dororo when

It’s not really like Mushishi at all.

Being a special kind of retard isn't a plot hole. His excessive pride and stubborness got him killed.

You're like one of those boomers who calls all japanese cartoons 'Sailor Moon' and every pokemon 'Pikachu'.

I really hate how the anime changed Dororo's primary motivation from the manga as a young girl wanting to exact vengeance against Samurai and is really autistic about getting a sword to bring retribution to the Samurai.

Because that plot is stupid.

And how is wanting to support a handicapped autist because why the fuck not better than the vengeance of line?

It's even more blatant in the manga when he actually caused his death and he wasn't just discovered by some samurais. He was given some pity food from some noble that saw him and his poor family and he got pissy and aggravated them.

Uma da!

Tezuka had a boner for sad family stories apparently, but in the manga the way Hibukuro dies is hilarious and dumb.

It highlights how stubborn he was to the very end even if it came at the cost of his own family suffering.

Yeah, though I'm glad MAPPA changed it.

The point was clear, but it WAS really weirdly comedic for what it was, that goes for a lot of shit in tezuka manga.

For the ‘serious’ Dororo adaption there was no way they could leave it in, it’s just way too silly.

This girl is determined on marrying you. What to do?

Ask her if she has any STD.

Marriage, like I will ever have this chance again.

Run away with the ragged loli.

yea

It's nothing like Mushishi, it's also pretty mediocre.
You should get your taste fixed.

was waiting for this to get posted. lol

Hell yeah.

>What's the point of hoarding the money for some grand revolution when you die and can't use it?

It was never about HIM using it, it was about the villagers using it to rise up against the Samurai, after he was crippled he understood he wouldn't be the great warrior he once was, but still would not sink to 'their' level and use illgotten goods-and do remember he stole that shit, he didn't just save up his share-in order to make his family wealthy.

And in the end, that blind dedication to his ideals, even though its a completely noble one, is what got him killed. It's a recurring theme in this show, blind devotion to a cause, noble or just wanting the gold, is going to end badly. Kind of funny that Itachi and Dororo's parents died by the same obsessiveness, just in different directions. Don't be devoted to something so much you lose sight of everything else.

Unless its Buddha I guess, they kind of muddied the theme there by showing obsessive dedication to the buddha worked out great, and giving up on it was the worst choice. I dunno on that one.

The original manga had all of that as well. You might as well say Mushishi is just Dororo, not the other way around.

more like mushishi but less entertaining.

Because it actually makes sense? She wants to support Hyakki because she's lonely and wants a friend. Hyakki's also a one man army so he's the perfect bodyguard in a literal feudal hellscape. She has little reason NOT to support him.

Shittest taste I've seen all week.
