Go to sleep already
Ok good night everyone!
>tfw no Senko to wish me oyasumi
nacht
I cant
I've drank 350mL of vodka and still need to wait 1 hour before I can take my anti-anxiety meds before I can go to sleep so I don't wake up with the DTs.
>anti-anxiety meds
how do I get
Pretty easy. Go to a psychiatrist and tell them you have an anxiety disorder. Research the symptoms of an anxiety disorder and give it to them verbatim; most psychiatrists (or assistants) are fresh out of college and won't know any better. Tell them you have attacks at least one a day. They'll throw the typical benzos at you (xanax) and some longer term meds like buspirone (no high) and lamotrigine (no high; if suspected bi-polar disorder), maybe some sertraline (SSRI), levetiracetam (bipolar), citalpram (SSRI), fluxetine (SSRI), etc etc.
Only problem with SSRIs is that you can't drink booze with them. It will fuck you up. Lowers blood pressure when combined and very dangerous.
I only woke up 6 hours ago.
It's storming outside tho
Go see a therapist, they diagnose you and then go to a doctor who rights the prescriptions.
The meds and the theropist have helped me a lot
Well I guess I have to now.
Ass backwards for my county. I can't speak for others.
You mention the symptoms to a doctor and they'll give you immediate relief in the form of a benzo. The doctor then refers you out to a psyc clinic for more long term care. The psyc will then diagnose you with the disorder and prescribe meds. The meds take between 4-6 weeks to kick in, but then they recommend therapy afterwards as meds and therapy are a necessary combination to overcome anxiety disorders.
I think I did get some sort of meds of just normal doctor but they weren't good for shit
do taking these prevent you from certain jobs?
Not at all. There's no disclosure that precludes you from accepting a job in relation to the medications you take. There's laws against it.
Not at all
I can't have caffeine tho.
I was about to but I had to bitch some faggot out in a different thread.
daanks freundin
Never
MAOIs are the one where you should never touch alcohol due to crazy blood pressure effects. It's pretty safe to drink moderately on SSRIs. They do interact so it's best to start slowly and see how you feel.
