Is this about Jojo or manga in general? I've been reading manga since at least 2003. It's just something I've always done and it's weird thinking that there are people, even on Yea Forums, that don't read manga at all.

Do you prefer to read physical or digital? I've been collecting and reading manga since 2005 (began with Battle Royale) and honestly IMO nothing beats physical.

I like physical but generally don't feel like spending the money on it (plus space concerns) and having everything available at my fingertips through downloading or Mangadex is nice. I bought a lot of stuff in the mid to late 00s but only a little bit anytime recently. And one of the purchases was Japanese volumes (Patlabor bunko editions) that I can't read anyway and just wanted them because I liked the cover art and someone could feasibly translate them in the future.

I really dont read as much manga, even with jojo ive only read parts 1 and 2 and 5-8, though i have gained interest i just am not a good reader

I guess people just dont care about jojo as much, i swear every person i know who likes anime at all even some more obscure ones have barely heard of jojo and thats just because the memes, wish i had more people to talk to about it other than the friends whove gotten me into it, though theyve been annoying me recently with all the jojokes and memes

I still collect because I just love reading physical manga. It is pricey though and I'm running out of space,but it evens out over a 14 year period.
I will admit most of my collection- 700 volumes or so- are mostly English but I do own a couple full Japanese sets like Medaka box; it never got an official English release regrettably.

Part 1 is still my favorite.

I still don't get why people like part 7. Besides Sugar Mountain Spring, I felt like a zombie just lifelessly reading it with barely any entertainment. Then I liked part 6 a ton, so people just call me a shitposter.

Jolyne is a much better protagonist than the previous two are. But the supporting cast is kinda meh.
