Be honest user.
When was the last time you've watched an 80s tv anime?

Last week
I normally don't go below 90s at most. Late 90s to early 00s is my sweet zone.
Yesterday, I'm currently re-watching Dirty Pair
Probably Ideon recently, and that was great
I finished Space Cobra a few months ago.
I rewatch the votoms tv anime every year or two.
I think it was a couple of episodes of Zeta over lunch, but I could definitely be mistaken.
Layzner has an awesome OP, I like that "In This Episode" segment it always cuts to in the middle of it.
Watching Giant Gorg right now, it's a very enjoyable and fun ride.
In the 80s
I watch gunbuster almost every week
but just the final episode
1989
Holy Shit, I wish I was you. I suck at planning how to do what I want, when I'm busy.
never
I'm watching a lot of 70s and 90s stuff at the moment but I think I'm just going to have a good weekend where I'll watch a lot of Tomino's non-Gundam works.
Few months ago, tried watching Urusei Yatsura but it's too fucking long.
>having too short of an attentionspan for a damn anime
you have to go back
Giant Gorg has been literally the only pre-90s show worth watching I've tried so far. Tomino is a fucking hack
I watched Ranma yesterday, the episode I watched aired in 1989 so it still counts
Protip:- plan to do things when you're not busy
Two weeks ago, I've watched SDF Macross. Was pretty good, though the last 9 episodes and the occasionally shitty animation did frustrate me a little bit.
yesterday
Currently watching Baxingar
You might like Acrobunch, its ending is pure 10/10.
Do yourself a favor and don't watch anything past the original SDF Macross
never cause it sux
I'm watching Maison Ikkoku now.
>no one could possibly like what I don't like
Nigger it's a 200 episodes long romcom, it's too fucking long.
I only watch the sexy shows or ones with heavy sakuga in them.
Yesterday
I haven't seen anything from 80s except movies and OVAs.
Saint Seiya.
Dream Hunter Rem.
We don't make no animes like that anymore.
Literally never. Anime today is better than ever.
Mecha was to the 80s what Isekai is to the 2010s
Average quality is higher than even yes, but I think the 2005-2015 was the high-point.
