I haven't been reading much of this arc, just seeing the reaction threads. Why do literally all of the VA suddenly develop new asspulls for their quirks? Some of them are grown men, isn't it kinda late and coincidental they all have it at the same time?

Horikoshi just messed with the powercreep by making the students TOO powerful in the recent arcs... but then the League of Hobbos wouldn't be a threat, so they "trained" (got their asses kicked and dodged) for 1 month and now they're developing too.

Like a shitty balance patch on an online videogame.

Twice being able to make a one man army of himself was never an asspull

Oh this too. In reality they're powers they always had. Twice became crazy because of cloning himself, Toga always copied the physical properties of anyone so she was able to use other's quirks as long as they don't require a mental activation (if she copied Tail Man, she'd be able to use the tail since that comes with the body but she doesn't know how to produce ice like Shoto), and Shigaraki apparently always had that Miasma ability to mass murder, or at least his flashback implies that he goes berserk sometimes and disintegrates everything around him and it happened again now.

this is the only one they did well so far imo

Really couldn't go 10 minutes without making a bait thread huh?

>suddenly develop new asspulls for their quirks
Toga was able to copy quirks from the getgo, but simply hasn't had the opportunity to do so before (Camie's quirk doesn't show it and Deku's quirk has the same fucking application as it did with Monoma. Ochaco was the first time this could be shown)
Shiggy was able to penetrate through multiple layers of object from the getgo. This has been shown already and in the second chapter he was in.
Twice has always been able to duplicate, but has always had the mental bloc beforehand.

There hasn't been a single 'powerup' or 'evolution' or 'ebin asspull'. Read. Slower.

Attached: dead_eyes.png (444x963, 746K)

It makes sense though, I don't think they were the happiest couple considering he brutally murderraped her.

OP here, I didn't know it was on purpose. I just got home and assumed an angry janny had nuked the thread.

We went almost 10 minutes without a new thread. It was over. We were free.

But now that we're here, check this shit out.

Attached: snipe is not afraid.png (515x282, 52K)

They are developing their quirks. Just like the kids did before the license arc.
Its completely consistent with what has been established ages ago.

Hori really should write a Noir manga. His artstyle is excellent for it

>'My' and 'thread' in the thread title
>Mentions new chapter, posts ugly art instead of something from said chapter
Work on it

Was Twice always so lovable?

jaiminisbox.com/reader/read/my-hero-academia/en/0/229/page/1 release the hounds of war

The art in this arc has been pretty great I guess that he feels restricted to the school setting and lets loose whenever he moves the focus away from them

That Twice panel is fucking kino.

Attached: 16-17.png (1836x1300, 1010K)

>Twice: Here we go MLA just what you wanted. All of you VS All of me.

I didn't notice that the panel borders were gradually warping and getting distorted when Twice went into the flashback. Pretty cool.

So this was the page that was missing from the previous translations. He looks so happy.

Attached: 15.png (927x1300, 363K)

twice please stop cryin you're goin to be fine son

He's feeling massive relief from knowing he's real. I'd cum my pants too.

So if Twice was only 16 when he first fucked up how many years do you think passed until he met Giran?

He looks to be in his early to mid 20s in So he would've been on the streets for a while

12.

The way he draws buildings is really pretty. So is that whole page you posted. Its my favorite page from this chapter.

Jesus this arc is fucking great. Every villain gets development. I just hope we have something for Mr. Compress too

That´s the happiest face I have seen in a long time.

So did Twice not having any grandparents, uncles, or cousins? His parents die and that's it, he's alone?

He was 16, so some extended family probably lent him some money for a apartment and told him to get a job.

That's not exactly the wildest scenario. Entirely possible

The real asspull is Toga being able to use Ochako's quirk better than Ochako did during the sports festival.

It's a cliché, the narrative requires the orphan to be alone, so he's alone even when it doesn't make sense.
Bruce Wayne was raised by his butler after his parents died. His butler for fucks sake, his relatives apparently didn't give a fuck.

To be fair Ochako wasn't trying to kill everyone competing. Otherwise Deku could just send a 100% smash down the entire stadium

It can happen. Here on my country a German guy murdered all of his family in a cave except for his little kid who managed to escape. His family refused to travel to be with him and they had a priest take care of him for a few weeks until they were forced to take him in.
Extended families can be pretty distant.

Some families don't care about extended members. Trust me on that one.

Once he heals his broken bones we will finally be able to see him fight to his full potential even without his quirk. Feels good.

Twice's best development would simply gain the ability to deactivate his Quirk and dissappear all clones at will, just in case they get uppity.

Even if I feel bad for Twice for being an orphan that then got fucked over after a motorcycle accident, that doesn't justify him becoming a criminal and a terrorist.

How many more "Killing joke" references can we get in this arc? That was sweet chapter title drop though.

Attached: AHEM Destro.jpg (333x294, 38K)

Was he never able to do that?
I just thought he didn't want to cause he was lonely otherwise.

yfw Twice goes full power for Toga and he still gets cucked because he's not madman enough to let himself get hurt like Deku

Well now that he's confident about being the real one he can go "okay so let's all punch each other and whoever doesn't get deleted is the real one"

As for now they will have to settle with the one with two broken arms is the real one.

No he can't that's why he went through his traumatic experience. Each clone basically becomes it's own entity with it's own quirk. That's also why Twice is crazy strong and can outnumber humanity if he so chose to do.

>AAAAAAAAGGGGHHHH SHIGARAKI HELP MEEEEE

Attached: AHHHHHHHH.png (616x583, 574K)

Along with that each clone has all of Jins memories up to and including making a clone, making the clone think he was the original making a clone.

>one man outnumbers the entire MLA

tiny smug

Attached: tiny_smug.jpg (550x486, 71K)

Nobody thinks that justifies what Twice has done, but it's interesting to see his perspective and how he got to be so wrong in the first place.

MHA confirmed best manga of the decade

Attached: no_u.png (859x601, 612K)

Honestly, it was cool to have the broker aknowledge that Twice is the strongest. In DC or Marvel, his Quirk is the kind of thing that would earn him an dystopic future comic
>Twice Infinity: Last Man on Earth
>A badass cover with Twice walking down the road alone but at the sides of the streets we see a multitude of Twices living on normally, some are even looking through windows
>In this future he never met the LoV (or they got killed) and went full psycho cloning himself to no end, overtaking the whole planet with clones in a span of 10 years; they were all filled with rage so they lashed out at humanity.
>Everywhere is inhabited by clones, with a few real people in hiding hoping to eventually kill Twice Prime to dissappear them all
>Twice Prime/Infinity gets wanked in Vs. threads, becoming the best prep time bloodlusted fighter

In >188574745 the clones are coming out with masks (and presumably working limbs), so it seems like they should know they're clones. I guess he had the others out for years before they started to forget who was the original.

What a cunt. I'm glad his was cursed with La Creatora for a son. He deserved it.

Attached: 07 (2).png (900x1300, 405K)

>It's a comic about Twice living his daily life with some depression in this world he created
>Time passes
>He remembers the LoV as he dies of old age
>It's left unclear if the clones dissapeared with his death

My boy Twice finally getting over his existencial crisis. Atta boy.

>literally produces an army on demand
>clones are in perfect condition regardless of damage to original
Good lord keep this boy away from AFO

Why is Twice a villain again?

>villain's power up is working through his insanity
I love this arc. I wonder what Compress will get.

Do you think he ever had sex with his clones and just chalked it up to masturbation?

Attached: it_was_fun.png (492x545, 269K)

>tfw in an alternate timeline the number two hero could've been the Omnipresent One, Twice

>orphan
>no family
>no friends
>early mess up in life
>no one to encourage him
>his own clones only dig deeper into depression

>sex with his clones
Every gay porn ever.

not his arm back

Japanese culture, mostly. The idea that one accidental event that gets you in trouble with the law instantly costs you your entire life is a very japanese thing.

Idk but these two are definitely flirting.

It baffles me that AFO didn't take his Quirk when everyone else realizes it makes you a God. He wouldn't need to recruit allies nor train Shigaraki if he can exterminate every single hero on Earth with an AFO army. Then again, he also didn't just grab Shiggy's quirk to easily touch and kill AM.

I think AFO simply got bored and sincerely wishes to pass on the mantle and retire, he's been doing this for the past century. Because if he really wanted to keep at this, all it takes is Twice and Shigaraki lending him their Quirks for a week.

Toga and Twice would be the ultimate power couple. Twice makes 20 togas who blood transform into 20 twice making 20 Togas. Rinse and repeat until you've out-bred the nids.

He had one bad day

Honestly a Hero Twice might've been able to become the Number 1 Hero. He'd have even more PR than All Might because he legitimately could be everywhere and help everyone.

I didn't even consider this, He can either overtake the world, or protect it. Police shortage? Firemen? Whatever? Hell no, there's Twice Squads everywhere. And they come out with his own hero morals so it's fine.

I'm not sure OFA would prefer to multiply himself. The clones have memories and sense of self. Imagine a dozen OFA's trying to out-keikaku each other.

Why the hell didn't heroes hire young Twice? Endeavour could've easily tripled his number of solved cases, but he decided to rape a chick instead. It's like seeing AfO working at McDonald's, such a waste of potential.

Seeing a young twice being chill with his clone pals is sad.

A grand audience as he performs the act of a lifetime.

AfO didn't meet him before Kamino, and was probably near death when Twice was active.

The series shows multiple times that people with otherwise good quirks slip through the cracks.

>feelgood puppets take their sweet time to finish off Toga
>manage to kick Twice's mind back into (relative) sanity
The real enemies to Re-Destro's cause were working from within it all along. Great job, Jobber Liberation Army.

He was working at a store when he was 16 possibly full time and his parents were dead so there is a good chance he was not enrolled into a hero school.

He had no friends.

Fair point. They would maybe agree for the first day to end all heroes, all while plotting to backstab each other because it isn't fun to have so many around.
And AFO himself might know that he wouldn't like competition.

That or they each decide to rule 1 country.

Hero schook would be a waste of time. It doesn't matter if Twice knows how to hit shit, the heroes would handle that. All he would have to do is relax and clone another Endeavor whenever one breaks.

They do register Quirks at birth, or at least someone had to see him use it at school when he was a kid. Unless this flashback was his first time, people out there knew some guy could make perfect copies of himself and said nothing.

Then again, Shinso has mind control and he's free to do whatever. Instead of enrolling into UA he could have gone to work at McDonald's and brainwash people into paying 1 extra dollar everytime until he's rich.

Hug your Frogs

Attached: 今日想挷雙馬尾的蛙吹~‬ ‪.jpg (2048x2732, 603K)

Is it really? Because it's an American thing too.

I can believe Onahole and Shiggy, since they were still kids when shit went down. But Twice was 16, had a registered quirk, and nobody ever said "holy shit this dude could duplicate All Might"?

Bad things happened to him, but that doesn't justify him being a thief and a terrorist.

No, only "severe" crimes damn you in america. Rape, murder, etc. And some crimes are thought of as severe when they're really not (drug dealing).
A car crash that you're at fault for isn't going to ruin your life unless you're poor as dirt.

Imagine wasting such s great character like Twice and pairing him up with generic trash like Toga all the time. Sad

Plenty of fuck-ups in America keep fucking up and still can lead a normal or high profile life. Especially if you have money.

>Whole issue builds up to someone killing Twice Prime once and for all
>It's not him
>They get swarmed and go out thinking it's all hopeless while Twice is wondering what he'll have for dinner tomorrow

Well to be fair a 16 year old with no family isn't typically gonna be rolling in cash.

>the longer a clone is active the more it levels up and increases its healthpool
>Twice saves Toga and then vanishes like the others

I think it is implied that because he had no guidance with his folks being gone at an early age. That even when he landed a decent job and made a mistake like that traffic accident. He had no one to fall back on. So, of course, he becomes homeless, and get involved in petty crimes that become even more criminal.

Toga is cute though.

Even then he seemed like he was gonna land on his feet until it turned out that by sheer happenstance the person he hit was a major financer for his workplace, getting him fired instantly.
Kinda contrived, honestly.

Calm down, Satan.

So if they're going through all this trouble to give the villains all these amazing power ups, how are the heroes going to win?
Honestly even if Midoriya gets like 7 quirks, it's not like he's gonna be able to do much against Shigaraki if shit goes straight and he gets AFO.
The villains are getting all the best shit given to them and the heroes are just a bunch of kids in comparison.

I can understand him becoming a thief, got to make a living. Joining a terrorist organization composed of mass murderers who want to destroy everything is completely unjustifiable though.

Yeah, it seems like Hori has to give everyone else a power up or the league will fucking crush them.

Everything you said about Toga is wrong.

Yet another great reaction image.

Attached: Laughing_Intensifies.png (313x1223, 407K)

Just the last arc Shoto had fire on Endeavor's level and nothing could geat near him without disintegrating. The students will be fine. Except for fighting Shigaraki, I still don't know how a fight against him can possibly go with his 1-touch death Quirk.

I guess Hori gives us LoV chapters so we can see Shiggy fighting other people, since he isn't allowed to kill students.

Just use your quirk and as cashier at 100 different places, rich in a single year.

By the time Twice joined the LoV he was batshit crazy.

It really is, the backstory is sad and all but it makes little to no sense, someone with his qurk would have been getting heroes at his front door 24/7.

>Oi, you got a license for that?
No wonder the Meta Liberation Army think that they can recruit him. If the laws weren't so unfair, Twice's life would have been better.

I wonder why the liberation army never tried to recruit Gentle? He seems like a prime target.

And risk the BNHA equivalent of the tax man to rail you in the ass for working 100 jobs and being one person?

Man it was so long seeing Twice face I completly forget he had that Huge scar across his head

I guess that's what my gripe is about. Why give a villain a power that invalidates him from fighting directly and then just make it even more powerful?
It's like the stronger he makes him, the more certain that Deku is going to asspull himself to victory.

Not with a criminal record he wouldn't. Remember in chapter one when Bakugou refused to do any kind of petty crime with his middle school lackeys? He didn't want to get caught because it would automatically compromise any chance he had at being a pro hero and getting his liscence. I imagine the requirements for hero work are rather strict and you have to have a pristine record.

Alright boys, place your bets. What is Spinners' Upgrade?

>I still don't know how a fight against him can possibly go with his 1-touch death Quirk.
Notice that everyone of the main cast don't have direct moves,
>Bakugo explosions are at worst close distance but aoe and at best long range cannons
>Shota fire and ice wave attacks
Even Mydoria who has super strength uses air pressure waves.
The problem of fighting shiggy no touch was solved before he even became a real threat.

He's a Mutie. He's gonna die

Simple. Kill him without touching him. Shoto could handle that easily for example. Deku too, since OfA can make fucking tornadoes.

Actually using his quirk.

Like Jurota but lizard.

I mostly mean from a writing perspective, it's kinda lame if the whole fight is Shiggy running like a hobbo at them and getting slapped away.

Unless there is absolutely no physical tax on Twice for making clones meaning he can kill them and recreate them as need for work scheduled 100 people working 100 of the same job is still the same about of money going in and coming out as one.

Holy fuck, that's one amazing arc. The only times I felt the same was during Pro Hero and Kamino.
Twice is such a grat character desu. I want a full manga about him and LoV. Gotta love the noir.

I would legitimately fucking laugh if it was something dumb and obvious like "He's a lizard! He can pretty much do anything a lizard can!"

You also have to convince the clones to do all the work and they will have the memory of you planning to kill them afterwards.

He can grow back limbs, but just as fast as your average lizard.

> implying getting a license is hard
You just work in a hero office and get some experience in the thoughtful usage of your quirk and than you do the license, you dont need a hero school for that.
> implying such a valuable asset to a company wouldnt get its protection
Hell even villians or underground ones, fuck, the police even would kiss his feet. His power grants him the perfect army that can overwhelm any enemy and the fact that they turn to goo is even better because basically they are immortal, Twice (or his clones) would just increase their amount.

>sheds is skin like a replacement jitsu

>Gets arm cut off
>"Che- did you think I just look wierd? I'm a lizard after all"
>Grows back new arm but it is all fucked up and a weird color like leopard geko tails.

Honestly what can lizards even do?

> and getting his liscence.
You can get a license without heroschool, the license is like the drivers license or even better, a license proving you are capable of speaking a certain language, anyone can get one, you dont have to be a hero for that. Gran Torino and vigilantes proved that.

So far how do assess League of Villains in comparison to other big shounen antagonist group?
Aka Phantom Troupe, Akatsuki and etc?

Attached: YfM9W8OwrtI.jpg (2048x1314, 595K)

to be fair, heroes like spiderman were really fucking lame in concept until he fixed his powers himself. I don't remember if spidey senses were in his original package or something himself. I believe spideymans powers in base are: super strength, accelerated regeneration, can stick to walls.

everything else is because peter is smart.
maybe the lizard will stop being a jobber and smarten up, probably not.

Pro hero was the arc that made me draw paintshit and now I wanna do it again for Twice, so yes this is a good arc.
That's it, I gotta draw some of this. Great song.

We all would, i would give my blessings, this series is already kind of dumb and doesnt stand any real deep look, so just lets have fun and go all out.

>I don't remember if spidey senses were in his original package or something himself.
It was literally the first power he ever used. As he walked out of the lab distracted and feeling weird after getting bit by a radioactive spider, he was almost hit by a car, but his new spider-sense warned him, and he instinctively jumped away.

HOOOORIIIIIIIIII

Attached: imgonline-com-ua-2to1-qNe52u62CPKGZvPQ.jpg (540x1032, 145K)

Depends on species, Chameleons can camouflage and have that dart tongue, Thorned devils can shoot blood from their eyes, Many species of gecko can run along walls as well as they can on the floor and can regenerate their limbs.

They don't generate as much hype as those groups, but they get more shit done. They're more like a real criminal organization, and in-world they act as such keeping a low profile and dealing with the mafia and CEOs. The actual heavy hitters were the Nomus, Muscular and Moonfish; those are like the hype Akatsuki/Phantom Troupe members with a lot of power and cool designs, but they aren't really part of the League, they're just weapons. But as I said, the LoV gets things done and will slowly crumble society while the Phantom Troupe just does its shit far away and the Akatsuki members decided to act in pairs or alone and got promptly dispatched.

> It baffles me that AFO didn't take his Quirk when everyone else realizes it makes you a God.
Hori being a hack shouldnt suprise anyone at this point.

It's pretty refreshing that they started out so shit compared to the others
>Phantom Troupe are practically A-team levels of do not fuck with and just roll around doing what they want
>Akatsuki are each at least a Kage level threat
>League of Villians are just some shit kids with decent resources with more destructive than average quirks

But seeing them become actual one man army tier is great.

Nah I think AFO just wants to retire. It's not the first time he could have done something to take over the world, but he likes some challenge and fun.

They suck. They dont have any real gravity to their name.

Attached: 1548919883605.png (350x559, 105K)

> implying he wouldnt do anything to destroy AM
He wants that dude to suffer, im certain he would not stop at making him suffer for days before killing him, the whole "i lost on purpose" theory makes no sense if one looks at AFOs relaionship to AM.

I like every member of the group EXCEPT Shigaraki, their leader, which is rather unique.

Didn't you see what happened to the kids in Grave of the Fireflies?

Work through that and convince yourself beforehand.
Would I work and then die to better a more permanent version of myself?
(Sure, but not without a hot meal and a nap beforehand. Kill clone me in my clone sleep and it's fine.)

Analagous.

Attached: thread_history.png (492x545, 204K)

While Phantom Troupe is overall more clever, in terms of characterization LoV has far surpassed them

But why would you let your clone kill you and take everything you personally worked for?

>just roll a joint sit back and relax
Imagine being able to translate Japanese and still being so completely unaware of how strict their culture is about punishing the use and possession of marijuana.
Not in a fucking thousand years would a japanese pro hero, basically the glorified police, be caught smoking pot, much less openly admitting to it.

Because I would understand that I am the replica existence and have no right to my permanent self's dominion. I'm not his child, I'm his tool.

>Implying
>Implying
>Implying

What kind of lizard do you think Spinner is?

>His smile and optimism: Restored

This. I'm not excited to see a certain LoV member fighting a hero or student, there aren't any real matchups. On One Piece for example everyone is always writing about Blackbeard's crew fighting Luffy's crew in the final batte. Actually that happens every arc, people wonder which enemy commanders will fight certain strawhats.
There's also the dream matches of the 3 admirals against Luffy, Sanji and Zoro. Likewise people theorized some shit on Naruto about Kisame vs Gai and how would certain good ninjas fight the other Akatsukis.

But the LoV, while fun, aren't that hype as individuals. Who is Twice gonna fight? Well I guess he'd be the Zetsu army for the final battle. Toga vs Ochako... meh. Toga can just copy someone strong and actually fight another person, I don't think she'll have a rematch against Uraraka.
Shiggy can't fight the main 3 until he gets AFO and he'll be pretty much a different character. Compress.... who is Compress gonna fight? And Spinner? I guess Dabi vs Shoto is fine.

But you are under the delusion the clones believe that they are not. They are sentient completely and their own sense of self. You might be weak willed enough to believe you are a clone just because someone told you, but not everyone is so gullible.

As it was foretold, so it shall be.

I was actually laughing out loud because of this when I read it. And he's talking to ENDEAVOR of all people. Fucking roasted chicken, maybe he was teasing Enji?

>By breaking his body...
>....They unbroke his mind.

KINO

Read the chapter, he confessed how and why himself.

If his quirk is literally gonna be "Lizard" then he's probably an analgomation. Though just based off his green scales and overall head shape probably an iguana.

>Phantom Troupe
These guys literally do nothing and now they're dropping like flies with no teason to care
>Akatsuki
Were lame as fuck and were mostly fodder.

Like the rest of the series they’re more realistic and down to earth than the others, they actually act like an underground criminal gang on the run. It makes them less flashy and lamer but it’s refreshing, I like how they have been portrayed so far and their growth has been good.

So what can iguanas do?

It's All for One. Not "one for all and all for one", not All for All

Just All for One.

Just like Tsyu he can probably imitate a lot of different species

Can do anything a BLACK PERSON can.

Be strong for size, sharp claws allow them to climb pretty much anything. Very lazy, basically scaly cats.

Just like Akatsuki, League of Villains are the best thing in their own series

Spinner, aniki! What have you become?!

Attached: yk8celmwsuy11.jpg (1240x2564, 421K)

>On One Piece for example everyone is always writing about Blackbeard's crew fighting Luffy's crew in the final batte
Because they have no character or development other than being the final adversies of the SHs hence why Oda had to asspull five more members with no effort to establish them as characters.

>Akatsuki
>best anything

"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing"

They keep getting better character wise, in terms of threat until this arc now they been besides of the Nomu been pretty low though, glad that even in universe it is how people think of them though.

Attached: 03.png (849x771, 494K)

It sorta makes sense since he had already permanently weakened AM years ago. He basically just stayed around for long enough to show Shiggy off, tell AM that he had ruined Nana’s grandson and then letting him self-destruct without dying so he’s helpless to watch as society falls apart. He could have gone all out to destroy society himself but unlike AM he realised he needed successors, others to terrorize and instill fear after he was gone. All Might tried to be a saviour on his own and now people have no faith in his successor.

>others to terrorize and instill fear after he was gone
But he doesnt age, so he would stay on top forever.

It's like a where's waldo page

I'd say it's completely different. They aren't the badass group that is a big threat. They're the underdogs that are developing. I'd say they're far more compelling but far less intimidating. And it works for the story they're in

Apparently he couldn’t fix whatever All Might had done to his face, so he’s not completely immortal.

With his injuries he is only kept alive due to tubes and machinery and hasn't stocked up as much quirks as he used to have. He probably seems himself as passed his prime and instead feels it's time to retire.

SHUT UP SETSUNA YOU'RE A FALSE HERO, YOU FUCKING ATTENTIONWHORE. THIS IS WHAT YOU GET FOR BEING THE FAVOURITE KID

Its 300 years into the future. Maybe Hori really did have him say that.

Prepare for trouble, AND MAKE IT DOUBLE.

They are kinda an actual evil version of pic related.

he cute

lol no.

Reminder that X-Factor had to kill off their multiple-man character with an anti-mutant virus to prevent this sort of thing.

Anyone else get sports festival vibes from this? It feels like it’s got that same madman aura as Deku used to have.

Because having a powerup triggered by a flashback and doing some cardio and physical activity is considered "character development" to Hori and his dickriders

That is Caleb's translation aka awful biased trash (most of the time).

How far through the anime do you need to have watched to best enjoy the BNHA movie?

I've got a friend who is mid-tournament arc.

OH MY DOUBLE QUIRK

Man Twice was lucky his line about how fragile his clones are never made it to the client list info the liberation army got their hands on. Breaking his arms was a grave mistake.

Lucky? Giran planned all of this

After the stain incident but before Kamino

Movie starts at end of the 2nd season and before 3rd. There's a filler episode in season 3 that ties into it.

Have you forgotten how Ochako literally got an infinite for her score during the early chapters? She was always broken but she's a hero so she holds back so she doesn't accidentally kill people.

>Shigaraki apparently always had that Miasma ability to mass murder
It wasn't a miasma, the decay simply spread from someone that was touching another person that Shigaraki touched. Sort of like how his ability spread from an initial contact point. His chain reaction range simply increased like crazy. Hori made a contrived and forced situation where a horde of people just piled together to attack Shiggy, they wouldn't be killed had they just kept some minimum distance between each other.

The troupe is plain boring with a dogshit aesthetic with zero likable characters besides maybe the firsts one the trap kills.
The Akatsuki are much more cohesive design wise with at least Hidan being amusing and Pain charismatic. The entire group is way more sinnisers and is much more threatening with all of them being a wall to overcome.
The League has the best individual designs but lack the rad group aesthetic. Excluding shit that is from AfO's empire (including him) like Giga and the Noumus the League are the least scary of the bunch. Despite some of them not receiving the happy hori funstick yet what we have is very good, whiles not on some grand scale, it give an amazing insight into the shadow of MHA's world since all of their characterization almost exclusively represents the more fucked up aspects that a world with quirk could breed.
Its kinda like the AfO circle is like the Akatsuki element where they lack personal interaction but are more threatening whiles the main circle, the actual LoV, are like the Troupe but less competent and better characters wise.
Quick mention of the Eye of the Midnight Sun. Whiles lacking a lot with inner group interactions they are the most well rounded of the bunch with the most cohesive origin, motive and plan to execute. And in the end they were just tragic villains who are just lashing out over being tricked.
Out of all these I'd put them like this:
>LoV
>Akatsuki
>the Elfs
>Troupe

Attached: Quality men.png (329x299, 111K)

thanks lads

It's definitely a doable task. Especially if he reads instead of watches.

Forgot to mention that the League are just protagonists as well.

Now that i think about it, Horikoshi never had a non-villain character smoke. Several other series have good guy characters that smoke(Saji, Asuma, Dr. Stein). But Horikoshi decided against such a thing. Is Horikoshi a lawfag?

Hori now treating them as the protagonists is definitely a big factor in all of this, the additional screentime unrelated to the students/heroes is really helping to develop them without having to include others.

Attached: League on Island 2.png (500x625, 255K)

I think I might have to get registered as a retard for not realizing that Rappa was wearing a mask. I thought he was just a mutant who looked like a fucking ripped penguin.

To be fair, a 2,8m giant penguinman would still be bloody incredible.

Attached: DGeVfe-V0AAcAUG.png (1055x945, 497K)

based retard

Aren't Emporer penguins big as humans?

Why is Twice's backstory better than most of the league's?

Thats some quality content right there.

Attached: Quality people.jpg (525x185, 61K)

I WANT TO BE A DRAWFAG TOO

Attached: twice.png (1616x1544, 92K)

Because the bar was pretty low

Up to 1,3m

Nice job.

Now that he can clone himself, he's pretty much villain of the arc material considering those clones can make even more clones and he can just make an army of different clones of the league. Sure they'll all get one shot easily but they're glass cannons.

He's not as extreme as others, just a guy falling from one single misstep. Also how his power works is pretty cool and presents conflict.

Yeah having your antagonist act as your deuteragonist is pretty great especially since Shiggy isn’t looking for sympathy or is secretly a good guy trying to do the right thing through amoral means

Most good guys are heroes who train all day, smoking doesn't help if you're trying to be fit.

>Twice kills the MHA Universe.

Twice’s development was well done. He now has a sense of identity again, and now more dangerous than ever. Even if his clones are weaker, overwhelmingly numbers make up for that

Damn those are some sexy Twices.

I need so to clarify. if Twice makes a clone of himself or someone that does that clone comes out in the same status as the real version?

We don't even know what his quirk is

>My Twice Academia
>All characters are replaced by Twice acting like the other characters.

I love this
From comic relief to tactical nuke.
Also realizing that being scared and not knowing was the worst and realizing he should've just tested it is also great.

Not same status, they come out healthy. Twice has broken arms but the clones do not. So if Twice cloned Toga right now, it would be a healthy Toga.
It's kinda like magic, he perfectly replicates their DNA by knowing the proper measurements. DNA doesn't care about what happens to you, it isn't altered, and the clones come out according to that original core.

The chapter already asnwered your question, they took his mask but his clones are masked.

He's afraid of testing and dying.

Yeah he WAS but it was stupid although understandable. Because of not knowing he was a huge wreck.

Death arms smokes.

Attached: Deatharms.png (1152x912, 1.06M)

So why didn't Compress appear with both arms if a healthy version comes out?

That said if the one he clones lost a arm the version is apparently not coming with one, the Compress clone in the Yakuza Arc had no left arm.

Bakugo's middle school friends wanted to go smoking.

Twice didn't bother measuring him until after his arm got blown off.

A arm is a big difference, injured original? Sure, but a arm lacking is a whole other story. Kind of like how regeneration powers often cant regenerate what was lost before they gained it.

So could twice just create different versions if he had two measurements in mind?
Why does accuracy matter if it doesn't matter in the end.

Perhaps he's wondering why it takes 17 pages to snap a girl's neck

Accuracy matters because Twice is a man who demands to get things right. Too many things have already gone wrong for him to purposely get things wrong again.

What?

Because most of the pages are flashbacks and therefor take the same amount of time as it takes to have a thought?

That moment isn't shown in a good light, and even fucking Bakugou refuses it.

Some people don't get that how absurd Twice's power is.
Each copy is weaker than the original in durability.
However copies do not need to replicate themselves, they can replicate the original twice. He can make an infinite number of first generation clones, and it looks almost instant.
He can literally make endless world war Z zerg attacks at any moment if he wanted to.

Attached: elgd6s1vd5ywzbi8roqf.0[1].png (1200x675, 1.33M)

Smoking's a lot more common in Asia, especially for men.

Well aware of that, its why i want next week already to see Hori drawing Twice just running over the surrounding area and Redestro for the first time looking concerned.

Do we have a Twice version of this?

Attached: 4D3FFD28-3466-448D-B6E3-57E27C896100.jpg (800x450, 46K)

How is it stupid. You're more insane than he became if you can't grasp how utterly terrifying it would be to test something, where one of the results would mean you die.

Attached: 1527744983702.png (350x440, 76K)

This doesn't make sense then...
My only explanation is that he's doing 2 processes;
cloning a person, and cloning their clothes. He already knows his clothes so he created a mask out of nowhere (he can create clothes out of nowhere? Isn't that Momo's job?) and a healthy version of himself with said clothes.

I guess Compress has AFO's problem; his new version counts as "max health". Twice creates a healthy clone but it simply doesn't have an arm since Compress already healed that wound.

Attached: 1558664620941.png (800x450, 37K)

But your death would mean you weren't real
How many clones die
none of the dabi clones had any issue running to their death
He is right now demanding these clones right now will likely run to their death
They can't each think they are alive

>Non-villain

I was just looking at this on another tab to make my drawing, it kinda counts.

Attached: 277.jpg (960x472, 37K)

His clones are just clay really.

So what will Mister Compress’s quirk boost be? Spinner’s? I want to say MC will be able to implode objects, and Spinner will just die

user, put yourself into that situation, you arent sure if you are yourself anymore, but finding out would mean either confirmation and all better, OR you throw away the life you still got at that point to live even as a clone.

Its a difference between knowing the real you is there and the clone is fine with it, and the clone possibly thinking he is the last remaining and if he died, it would all be over.

Dabi himself could not be afraid of death meaning that neither would the clones.

>He ends up being a sleeper mla member

Not knowing would drive me insane.
If the real me is already dead then I would just be a remnant like an old picture of a dead person.

They're all fully fledged individuals. You can't force them to do anything they(by proxy: the original) wouldn't want to do.
Dabi's clone died because it got captured in a mission and the was dealt enough damage to disintegrate. It didn't want to die.

The guy is probably so high off his ass on painkillers due to his scars, he doesnt give a single fuck.

And compress? Rappa, okay fair enough we know rappa isn't.

>Spinner’s
We don't even know his quirk yet

I just want to believe it was an error on Togashi's part. The clones should come out without the mask at the very least, since it's a plot point that he just lost it, unless it's a Batman deal where he BECAME the mask and doesn't see himself as Bugawara.

But in the chapter they have both arms and mask, so it's just the power of his imagination? Then he can do whatever he wants?

Dabi's clone were running straight at the teachers. He had no problem taking damage and even used it to play with Aizawa
that was clearly a suicide mission.

We do, it’s his appearance. Not everyone rolls a winner

Could just be an irrelevant mutation like Tokoyami's bird head.

Compress Clone was questioning himself why he had the brilliant idea to go in without sneaking. He got squashed by Dragonwaifu.

Attached: boku-no-hero-academia-9935827.jpg (800x1164, 225K)

It could be different for when Twice makes a clone of another such as Dabi, as if they have the memories of the original they would be able to remember the conversation Dabi had with Twice about making the clone in the first place but unlike Twice doesn't get confused by the who made who part.

Again I don't really see the fear of death in him going "oh well"
>It could be different for when Twice makes a clone of another
It has to be. Or it is just twice being crazy. Considering he was the original the fear of death is totally normal.

I guess the original clones of Twice that rebelled were doing a shit ton of household chores while the original was lazing around, so there's probably some degree of obedience.
But the fact that they rebelled shows they also have a large degree of independence, which is why Twice was scared. He could have been a clone that rebelled.

Apparently him seeing all his clones killing each other and having to kill a few himself really traumatized him, so his memories got really fucked after that incident.

what's the next step of his master plan now that twice is going plus chaos?

Attached: 229.png (405x1220, 237K)

Does Twice have the best backstory of all characters so far? Maybe also Todoroki, but I don't remember anyone else as good

>we will have to wait till season 5 second cour to see this animated

Attached: 1553494186267.png (410x396, 150K)

Bakugo?

Regretting that he only counted to 10 and not up to 11.

Attached: Oops.png (288x188, 15K)

Possibly. But it begs the question why he only used swords before

>he made a thing about counting
>soon will be overrun by an uncountable army of twice
POTTERY

At least we'll get to see gentle babytoucher

Good chapter, but it feels pretty weird for the Liberation dude to actually try to injure Twice rather than just knocking him out. I thought they were aware of why he was mentally instable, or did I speedread a bit?

He is a nerd who thinks swords are cool

you speedread a bit.
They were aware of his problem but not the arm break limit.

they only needed him alive. Some pain compliance was probably considered sufficient

The file on twice lacked info on how fragile Twice clones were. They didn't know that breaking his arms would provide Twice with the evidence he needed to validate his status as the real Twice.

Alright, yeah, that sounds fair enough.

>But it begs the question why he only used swords before
Because Stain
Stain was captured with a million swords and knives
Now Stain actually used them correctly

Spinner is a big dumb nerd and just took the same and then glued them together. Because he just thinks Stain is cool without understanding his tools.

Attached: 1545612229832.png (551x745, 181K)

Yeah it also sort of lines up with their dumb idea of thinking that Twice clones could make their leader effectively immortal. A clone of Destro Jr. would be a poor replacement that'll just die from any light struggle.

They probably want him cloned for if he is assassinated he can continue being used for his leadership and his charisma rather than his combat ability.

Or have a clone as double for public appearances aswell.

Attached: 1558365487867.png (586x1578, 86K)

>Dabi and Parka are having a battle
>Both comment on how they're the best AoE user of each group

youtube.com/watch?v=g4K41NczMfI Man that movie was a shit adaptation, the books were abject fucking kino. What a disservice.

Attached: bueno.png (356x464, 72K)

lol no

That too is a good possibility.

>Curious died because she didnt take into consideration on what happens if Togas quirk gets stronger.
>The human pile didn´t expect Shiggy i have a chain effect for his quirk.
>Feel Good now gets payback for not knowing the damage limit of Twices clones.

Small details, its always the small details that end up fucking you over.

If Hori is going balls to the wall with power creep why did he make Class B quirks heavily nerfed in comparison with their quirks not working on humans?

That annoys me beyond anything. The sheer weight of them would crush their bones like twigs preventing any form of "ladder" forming.

>Compress last chapter wondered where Twice went.
>Next chapter:
>Oh there he is!
>....And there.
>...There aswell....
>Oh shit.

the League and the Phantom Troupe both make mediocre villains but god tier protagonists

Parka will probably job as soon as Dabi melts all the ice in the area as well. For an army, they were hilariously badly prepared to confront LoV.

Would be funny if Compress just walks on himself.

Redestro did literally call them mere punks without the Nomu, this whole thing now happening is clearly making sure he realizes they are dangerous enough by themself aswell. Pride comes before the fall.

Attached: 1555272479770.png (1800x1350, 1.23M)

They will probably be given the ability to use them on humans/living targets after a few more years of training.

I was surprised how fucking huge Dabi's flames were. Previously we saw him cover a an alley and a street. Now his flames spread across multiple buildings. Its an actual fucking inferno.

>spoiler content
high IQ post

Yeah, the Quirk allows you to create humans that understand they're part of your Quirk and will follow your command in the heat of the moment, because unconsciously they don't value their life as much; they don't have any life to speak of, they were just created 3 seconds ago for a specific purpose so whatever.
But once they hang around for too long and you're just abusing them with no real purpose, well, they're also humans and will start valuing themselves more and attack you.

I'm not satisfied with my answer really, this opens some psychological and philosophical debates. This was never explored in Naruto and I wondered it back then, because near the end of the series Naruto gains the ability to create perfect clones that have as much life as the original and only mortal wounds vanish them... so I wondered how were they fine just throwing themselves at danger and getting stabbed to death without questioning considering they're independent.

What happens in real life if you get the ability to just create clones? They pop out of thin air... and I guess they obey because they have nothing better to do or understand this is a dangerous situation and you will all die if they don't attack the enemy.
But using them like Twice did just to do chores? I have a hard time imagining my clones would listen to that order without a good reason. For example, if I had to do homework, I guess they'd agree to do chores while I do math. But if I was just sitting there playing vidya or shitposting here, they would ignore me. And at that point, will my clone ever listen to me again? He kinda gained free will at the first rejected order.

Good post.

Now Dabi can join the USJ Nomu at the
>Why the fuck don't they attack somewhere else and kill whloe cities
club.
As long as Endeavor or Hawks aren't in the same city, Dabi can set entire city blocks on fire and go unstopped, and if things get dangerous he can call for Ujiro and escape.
Of course, mindless killing isn't Dabi's thing, but Shiggy could order him to do so.

>Twice's backstory is just a PG-13 rewrite of the duplicator arc from Calvin and Hobbes (right down to Twice's design)
>it's still the best backstory in the series by far
how does Hori do it lads

The shadowclones all have a collective hive mind in the real body where their memories/consciousness? go when they die though, so it's a bit more acceptable for them.

>so I wondered how were they fine just throwing themselves at danger and getting stabbed to death without questioning considering they're independent.
The clones are aware that the memories of the clones are incorporated back into the original one so they're not bothered by dying because in the end they're not really dying as their memories are fused back into the original Naruto. They are all well aware of that fact because they also have the memories of prior clones that died in them as they're copies of present Naruto.

Because Calvin and Hobbes is legendary. And also a reference to the infamous Spiderman clone saga.

And then there was the time they went on strike as filler.

Alright I remembered something like that, but I didn't imagine it could help them act more recklessly since they're still "living on".
Twice doesn't get that though, unless that's his powerup. Its a way more gray situation, and how would the law even regulate that?
Can you torture and kill your own clones?

>no link
>dumblr art
kys

Attached: images (12).jpg (500x603, 38K)

Now Twice will never wear his mask again and make sure that every one of his clones comes out with a mask to differentiate themselves from him. Eventually one clone will argue that the real Twice had the mask on and that the clones are the ones without a mask.

Attached: Mauler-Twins-Invincible-Comics-h6.jpg (725x305, 71K)

The books do it so much more service. In the books they don't make ebin ladders of dead in under 2 minutes, they actually do crush each other under their own weight and instead form a ramp of bodies over the course of days. At first it's contained by setting them on fire, but the charred bodies left behind aren't completely gone, meaning slowly a ramp forms over time which is too big to clear because the walls encompassing the area were too big to practically clean safely. As some of the soliders panic and begin to fire down on them when they get a little too high (even though at that point it was still manageable), that's the trigger point for the ones in the surrounding area to congregate on that specific point, which is the trigger for the area being overrun over about a 10-20 minute evacuation.
Instead the movie has some dumb shitskin hijabikebabi start to sing and 2 minutes later the wall is taken.

The movie took a relatively grounded view of how a running-type, fast-infection zombie apocalypse would play out and made it into a big dumb blockbuster. If you want a recent comparison, I'd imagine the GoTfags would understand >that feel, going off of the word on the grapevine.
I will give you however, a Twicepocalypse would probably collapse under it's own weight since a broken bone equates to sludging. Instead, we might see a Twidal wave as the top Twices continually replicate upwards and ride a tsunami of sludged bottom/lower Twices.

Or perhaps he'll just have somebody break his finger for him.

Just invite the rebel clone to an armrestling competition and break his arm. See how well his rhetoric holds.

I wonder if the Twice goo is flammable.

The clones probably won't disobey is they are completely focused on one goal. The reason the infighting started was because Twice got complacent and did have any real motive. Now that Twice is entirely dedicated to the League his clones will be the same.

And with him having measurements of other league members, he has make a fairly robust roster of clones that are unlikely to rebel.

Thanks for explanation, Will consider reading the book once I finish book currently reading.

>A clone goo tsunami flooding the city

imagine getting covered in Twice's goo

the lonely guy falling through life wanting to take it easy part is relatable to people here

The chapter is perfectly fine in theory (in fact I was impressed by the summary) but it is ruined by Hori's lightheartedness and contrived writing.

It is impossible for me to believe that Toga could actually die given his track record and that only makes it more annoying that the Liberation guys take things as non-lethal as possible. Like, if any of them had a gun or knife, this could have been it for the LoV, but they had to fuck things up and just try to slowly break bones.

Twice's tragedy is also kinda ruined by it being such a ridiculous case of bad luck.

if you repeat it enough it'll become true

nobody cares nigger

Attached: 1494045075931.png (638x358, 278K)

So why did the mooks just hold toga in their arms instead of actually killing her? She was supposed to be near-dead from her fight anyway

Twice is literally me or us
Shit like this can(well, except cloning part, but this is replacable) literally happen to anyone and in any day. Be careful, anons

they held her and started twisting her neck to break it but Skeptic had them stop before it actually snapped because Twice resisted harder than he expected

Spinner is going to be like Zombieman, aggressive levels of regeneration
>they keep on blasting holes through his head and stomach but he keeps on going

I agree that there's no tension regarding whether Toga will die or not because of course she won't, but no one using guns here makes perfect sense.
The entire point with the QLA is that they want to show off their quirks and support items. None of them or their civilian army are going to use guns or knives because they set the entire thing up to be a propaganda video. They will fight and kill using their quirks.

The whole chapter only takes place over a few moments. Flashbacks are typically within the time it takes for you to have a thought

Twices back luck lines up, he hit a guy likely on his way home from work, possibly shortly after, and said guy was a frequent customer where he works, so he likely left around that time aswell.

It would been more ridiculous if not for the fact that comparatively his chances at hitting a guy related to his work than a random customer anywhere.

>shrinks the earth as he floats off into the void
Gg all

>having a motorcycle
Unsafe, uncomfortable, and a magnet to thieves. Only excuse for this is being a delivery man.

>running over a possible financial partner of your boss
What are the odds? Like 1 in 10 million? It would be much more likely that Twice's bike skid into a puddle in a rainy day and he killed himself.

You can easily end up hitting someone if theyre a frequent customer at your workplace, its definitely more likely than just hitting a random guy.

I could see Guns applying there, but Knives are cooking and garden utensils. They should be fair game when your argument is you want to defend your Town from rampaging supervilliains.

>>running over a possible financial partner of your boss
>What are the odds? Like 1 in 10 million?
if you consider that the accident happened while he was coming into or leaving work, accidentally hitting a frequent customer seems fairly likely, compared to hitting some random guy

Probably because Skeptic has to split his concentration between his puppets and since he was focusing on retraining Twice he couldnt control the ones holding Toga.

Literally who

>guy literally goes there often as part of his job
>hurr durr what are the odd

True but this is basically a fanatic cult. They want to use the powers that they were given by nature because that's how things are meant to be or whatever. I assume knives doesn't fit their image or aspirations.

>but Toga should be ded!!!
>why he no break neck!!!
You try and get a puppet to break somebodys neck, or even imitate the motion of doing it. Now add 5 more puppets you've gotta control to the mix. Don't forget that it took 4 puppets to break Twice's arms on basic commands which each would have needed to be controlled individually. I'd imagine the neck maneouver would be brain-surgery tier, using Surgeron Simulator tier controls.

>have deadly superpowers
>use the knives though
You people are fucking braindead.

Attached: 1499582267241.gif (720x418, 224K)

Attached: deadly super powers.png (979x979, 1.05M)

If it's so hard to break the neck with the puppets, why even bother with this bullshit? Have one puppet sit on her fucking windpipe or stab her or something.

Why would you use Knives when you can throw a car for example?

Attached: This is gonna be so cool.png (223x480, 124K)

She's so cute

Attached: knife.jpg (1280x1816, 204K)

Because he needed to mentally torture and break Twice on top. Or did you forget the whole spiel about 'ensuring Destro will never die' part, parrot-kun?

The guy probably wanted to draw out her death as much as possible to really fuck Twice up.

Invoking his Reptile Brain and basically becoming MGR Raiden.

Fair enough. I thought the guy was a big shot in some important company that did business with Twice's former company and as such, he would presumably have a car, but it seems like he was an employee of the guy the company deals with?

Tbh, it still seems unlikely and unreasonable. Like... an employee runs over another employee, breaking an arm, and now the companies business relationships might be ruined?

>now the companies business relationships might be ruined
It didnt say they were ruined. The boss was just angry and prompted Twice's boss to fire him.

The guy with the puppets doesn't have deadly superpowers. Arming his puppets could be useful, and would have infact been far more useful than spending a couple minutes trying to break bones.

>basically becoming MGR Raiden
that's Shiggy not Spinner. Spinner isn't even cool. we don't even know it's quirk.

Attached: 1534394883436.png (600x800, 173K)

Nah, Shiggy is going full Motivated Vergil, Raiden for a long time wasnt considered that cool either, but MGR launched him much higher, the same can apply to Spinner.

Alternatively Spinner goes full Henchman 21.

Attached: Motivated Shiggy.jpg (267x357, 82K)

Lets just say that the Liberation Army is all insane at this point. They don't make any logical sense and will all die without accomplishing anything (except maybe killing Giran to give Shiggy a mega power up).

>Spinner isn't even cool
He isn't supposed to be cool. He is a dumb mutie who got bullied and become a hollow cosplayer because he was such an immense loser.
Lets hope he goes nuclear at some point since he seems to have rage tendencies.

>feelgood robots just gently massaging Toga's neck for like half a minute while Twice has a crisis

The Twice part of this was effective, but the Toga part of it really needed another few hours in the oven.

Spinner said "this is how the League of Villains dies" so he will if anything leave the team and become a vigilante.

I for one would welcome Spinner letting the mutant rage run wild.

Attached: Spinner and his Truck.jpg (800x1132, 302K)

As i said, Henchman 21 story arc. They guy left the villains for a while aswell and came back stronger.

Doesn't that happen after he becomes a badass? I remember the trigger being that 22 died in a raid to the Venture complex.

Can we all agree that MLA are just worthless irrelevant bland jobbers now?

Prison Break arc. So at least 200 more chapters.

But getting caught being part of your plan will never not be retarded.

He becomes badass, leaves, then later is dragged back into it. So Spinner would this arc with his quirk go badass, leave after having a Armstrong moment with Redestro and maybe come back later.

Yes, we all agree.

no

>Spinner is gonna reveal his quirk go badass and become the mega cool guy guys!
>Monoma is totally gonna copy OFA and PWN Deku with his own Quirk
>Monoma is totally gonna copy OFA and try to use it but his arms will break guys

In his final battle with Deku, as he purposefully loses.
He'll have a mental analog explaining how he did it all (orchestrating the sludge villain, repeatedly faking his motivaions to the cops, sitting in tartarus etc) and contemplating that he'll never really be able to tell Deku how proud he is of his son; with his final flashback being him leaving Inko and explaining he's going to guarantee that his unaware son becomes a great hero (even if he's quirkless)-by defeating the greatest villain.
Then as he closes the door he'll remind her that he's doing it all for one. Followed by a spread of Deku killing AfO.

The LoV are what Twice has wanted all along: People who care for him, listen to him, don't hold his mistakes against him. As for Shiggy's desire to wipe everything out to the horizon, what has Hero Society ever done for Twice that was so great? He's a desperately lonely, mind broke, wanted criminal. In a new order, things would be different.

If Giran had steered Twice to the LA instead of the LoV, I wonder if he would have fit in. The LA has a much more impersonal, militaristic feel to it than the LoV. But of course Giran didn't know about the LA. One of the dangers of being a secret organization is, if people don't know about you, they can't join you...

As soon as miss bomb dropped it was obvious

Didn't she just levitate the reporter chick high up into the air and then cancelled the quirk to have her die from fall damage?

So AfO is Charlie Tunoku?

>The LA has a much more impersonal, militaristic feel to it than the LoV.
Not really, they do seem to care about each other, they wanted to kill Toga to avenge Curious' death. And the foot soldiers are clearly very loyal.

Nah. You could tell they were jobbers even earlier. The moment Shiggy and friends raided those anti-mutant guys and complained about their money issues right after Re-Destro said he wanted to attack the LoV the previous chapter it became obvious the LA was finished.

>this is Japans most feared villain

Attached: afo face.png (425x429, 116K)

>It's left unclear if the clones dissapeared with his death
>Continued: It's left unclear whether or not he is even the original or just one of the clones himself

I don't think he planned for Eri. She's a wild card game changer. With her around, whatever plan AfO originally had may need to be modified.

No. They're making serious mistakes due to underestimating their foes, but they're actually pretty formidable and may yet pull off at least a partial victory.

>AFO is always squinting because otherwise he looks like a wimp

Attached: wonderful comedy.png (567x312, 137K)

There is no way Deku is the son of AFO. With Deku's genes and what not and AFO being as big as All Might.

Monoma already copied One for All. Without the stockpile of power that only the true user of the quirk can access, it's not good for anything.

>but his arms will break
You misspelled "limbs will blow off"

Deku still looks like a wimp when he's squinting.

They're jobbers but they're pretty fun. Even if they will wind up as even less relevant than the yakuza I like them a lot more.

anyone ever notice that AFO is literally Reigen?

Ok that doesn't change the fact that Monomafags were harping on for weeks about how he'll do what the greentext said then something completely different and lamer happened. Sort of like Spinnerfags now.

>but they're actually pretty formidable and may yet pull off at least a partial victory
You can't really believe this, right?

Their whole town is going to be wiped by Gigantomachia and the only LoV member they might kill is Giran, who barely counts as a LoV member anyway.

They were trying to smother her with her own scarf. The point was, Twice was Skeptic's main target. He was the one he needed to restrain and capture. Toga was a loose end he thought he could clean up by devoting minimal effort to her. He didn't realize prolonged fumbling around with her would send Twice into a frenzy, leading to the result we've seen.

Stop lying nigger. The question was always what could happen and one of the thing that people though that could happen happened.

why are you responding to the theorysperg?
he's a low IQ nigger who can't conceptualize things he hasn't already seen, so he gets angry and confused when other people do it

Toga is probably going to be cloned by Twice, with the original dying. This was kinda foreshadowed last chaper with the puppet guy saying that Twice's Quirk could have been used to prevent Re-Destro's death.

At least, I hope Hori has the balls to at least do this.

>he likes that the antagonists of this arc are just jobbers.

Won't the copies just kill him? Why are they even following his orders? It has been well established at this point that the copies have their own life and thoughts, I fail to see why any of them would do anything but just run away

Twice explained how his power worked during the Yakuza arc. First he measures and observes what he wants to copy; then, once he has a complete mental image, he makes the copy in the form of that mental image. His clones, now, are coming out masked and with intact limbs because apparently at one point, despite his reservations about cloning himself, he used the process on himself while in costume. If, right now, he made a Toga clone (as I think he's done before), it would be the image of Toga he's got in his mind, and the clone would be healthy and unhurt, but with lower stamina than the real thing.

I think.

>joke character gets serious

I love this trope.

>Why are they even following his orders?
Because they are literally him and and have the same mindset.

because he wants to save Toga, so all the clones also want to save Toga

Clones: "PROTECT TOGA!! KILL THE LA!!! LET'S GO!!!!"

They're all united in purpose. They're all going to act the same. It will take a while for individualities to arise. And by that point, they're all probably going to be dead...

They do have their own thoughts, but they're still Twice. He cares about Toga, and wishes to save her. His copies feel the same, so they follow his orders.

This man was able to overcome his mental illness for his waifu. Why can't you, Yea Forums?

Attached: bokunobokuboku.png (561x541, 267K)

The highest echelons care about each other. What caring general would send his troops to slaughter as ReDestro has just to score a propaganda victory?

So not only did he overcome his fear, he's now able to create clones out of thin air (we saw him create clones via using his hands). Nice
Also, someone needs to photoshop Twice's face in the last page onto pic related

Attached: jokerquote.jpg (1600x956, 146K)

All his copies love Toga and want to Gangbang her.

can't wait for the reveal

the shitstorm will be glorious

I'm not trying to bait when I ask this, but is Deku a weak link in the story right now? Feels like quality spikes every time it gets away from him.

Attached: 1558709560265.jpg (800x475, 71K)

You don't have to bring in the joker cringe.

He solved most of his internal issues and there's no outside overarching conflict for him to deal with too. That's why he feels quite stale. He needs something to knock him down a bit.

I wish, but since the puppet guy literally had to mention that Toga is waking up in this chapter makes me believe she will survive.

based
Hori brought this onto himself

>Hori brought this onto himself
Hori's not responsible for the cringey memes

yes

I want for next chapter for Twice's different voices to be agreeing with each-other.

>Not the clones just looking at him and nodding.
>They dont even need to be told, they know.

I want twice to be well over his 20s

Maybe on social media

Twice is 30 or late 20's, not that it matters.

how old is he anyway?

if his age ever gets confirmed he'll be 28

He titled this chapter "all it takes is one bad day" and had Twice making an edgy face. That's equivalent to a girl hopping on your bed and spreading her legs.

Protect this smile

Liberation Army arc is quickly passing Gentle Arc as my favorite arc

Attached: Thor_I_like_it.jpg (229x220, 10K)

>gentle arc
>favorite
what the literal fuck

I mean, is it even necessary that he would need to remeasure himself? Wouldn't he already understand the measurements of his own body intimately after all the time he spent using it? Or was it mentioned that he needs to redo his measurements if someone bothers changing their clothes?

Since the fact that he's making copies of himself with his mask already on makes me think that he has a strong self-image of himself as being completely in costume.

if you set bars low enough you can expect them to be speed bumps

Years of tension broken in seconds along with his arms.

Neither situation requires stupid memes though

Well yeah, for who knows how longer after it happened he only was truly himself with a mask on. Jin Bubaigawara is a broken mess, Twice is what kept him together.

Its definitely one of the best

what's wrong with gentle arc?

It's also Seven for Deku.

I hope Compress gets some chapters as good as the Toga and Twice ones. He really needs some backstory because he's got a great personality.

This chapter in a nutshell

Someone make an edit

There already is one, and also a "Do not reply to Twice" edit.

it's already existed for ages

This is the most awkward and slow attempted murder I've ever seen.

A transexual in the past activated a gigantic bomb and blew her up along with 20 billion yen worth of gold.

Also she's a lesbian.

I like this guy, even if he's trying to murder my waifu and mind break my favourite character

Attached: feels good man2.png (279x209, 34K)

Definitely the hypest arc in yet, as it has the highest stakes since Kamino. Hope Hori doesn't blow it having the villains lose again the very next arc.

Why do tumblkeks call this shit toxic?

Attached: b4e6b1cf-4e68-4b4c-a5bf-882124acdef0.jpg (1280x1587, 272K)

Because if it isn't black, it's racist.

This is their training arc.

Pretty good summary user, well done.

I don't think they do, or the people who do do it are such a tiny minority that you're effectively complaining about nothing

Besides everything else from this arc I feel like this solidifies that this manga should just be about the villains. I liked it's start but both the spinoff and everything villains just prove that the regular story is boring

>Toga is used goods now

Attached: 1550044088979.webm (566x687, 78K)

Giran is such a nice lad. I am sad I speed read and don't remember much about him.

Saying drug-dealing is not a severe crime is just showing your age, and lack of foresight.

only used by her husband, Twice

Villains or the Pro Heroes, the main problem is that the school setting has rub it's course. It doesn't feel like Hori knows what interesting events he can do at school anymore since he most recently resorted to a 20 chapter long mock fight training arc.

>Toga is used goods now

Attached: 1512515994306.jpg (471x347, 59K)

Well for one that's fanart. Ochako and Deku in the manga don't have that kind of relationship.

So far it's Deku ordering Ochako to do things, Ochako doing them, and then people teasing Ochako that she has a crush.

Ochako is good at executing Deku's orders. Not necessarily good at being in a relationship with him.

I'm curious though has Ochako ever disobeyed a direct order? Like has anyone ever told Ochako to do something and she refused?

Even when Monoma asks her a question she still answers it, just in a way he can't use Shinso's quirk on.

Attached: ochaco-uraraka--59.2.jpg (210x240, 18K)

I am more wondering what the TMNT guy will get. So far he has been lame. O MY STAIN

Selling a plants worth of weed isn't a big deal and in America there's a large amount of folks with felonies for that exact thing.

I like it when men sacrifice everything for their waifus.

Hori kinda dropped the ball with Toga, but leave it to based Twice to make this arc great!

congratulations, Koichi!

Attached: craw.png (432x215, 87K)

Twicebros, how do I make Toga-chan forget about the Decuck?

Could CC beat All Might in a fight?

t. Twice

>Nothing bad happens and AM saves the day again
Good to know that everyone is useless in this manga as well

>dropped the ball with Toga
He made her the fucking strongest shit ever.

And now Twice can go nuts and make an army of Togatwices with all the quirks. Why do we even NEED Shigaraki at this point? His blood?

All Might just single handedly safely landed a collapsing tower, so no.

I'm thinking that the chapter only took place over a few seconds. The flashback was probably only a moment, then Twice freaking out and Destro talking while Feelgood was controlling the puppets happens at the same time. Then the breaking of his arms would happen over a few seconds, then the realization kicks in near instantly and Twice explodes. I can't see the chapter taking more than maybe 10/15 seconds. Considering the Feelgood has to split his focus on what was like 8(?) puppets all being completely controlled by him it would make sense as to why things would take a bit longer, especially when he wasn't expecting Twice to put up a fight

Because my waifu is the one with the mental illness.

Because it portrays two heroes-in-training trying to create a future for the Japanese race.

replying to a tripnigger tumblrite

No but he dropped the ball delivering the toga power up
It felt like an asspull because you couldn't predict it
Everyone knew Twice could potentially do it.

>Twice creates a chain of clones attached to one another
>Each clone is a clone of the previous clone with reduced durability to create almost a ranged tossing of the clones
>Shigaraki slaps the first clone
>All the clones decompose because they're connected by touch to that first clone
>As the clones decompose the decomp gets faster and faster because of the reduced durability

Twice + Shigaraki can create some scary shit

Some guy speculated that because Skeptic had to manually control the puppets, trying to kill Toga and subduing Twice kinda slowed the whole thing down.

Except that was pretty much always the case, the spinoff is not meant to be a high stakes. At least it has moments where Koichi is actually heroic since he has very little to no power unlike Deku who cried his way to the best superpower plus more boosted by said superpower.

Are you just using buzzwords for things you don't agree with

Do you have a link for the chapter?

>where Koichi is actually heroic since he has very little to no power
He has one of the best and most versatile quirks
In class 1-A it would be better than Bakugo for Hero work and only be beaten by Deku and Todoroki

>Koichi has very let power
delusional Vigilantesfags at it again

>if he propulsed hard enough he could fly like Bakugo does with his Explosion

Yeah but his quirk isn't mega strong right out the gate, it would take Miro levels of training to get it there. On top of that he missed out on playing heroes vs villains since he was actually saving someone

Found it

>it would take Miro levels of training to get it there
Not even close
He did shit accidentally on reflex

He just needs to get over his moms abuse. That is literally it.

>thread
don't mind me just pointing out OP is a fagot

Attached: 1556027239434.png (500x375, 449K)

He's already stronger than Tooru. Throw him in a training camp for a while and he's gonna be at least on Tsuyu's level.

>Yeah but his quirk isn't mega strong right out the gate

It kinda is, his mother just lied to him so he wasn't aware of what his actual quirk was.

I mean so was Deku long before he had a quirk
I am not giving playing half heartedly like Deku and Koichi did any points
If you actually want to help people make something out of yourself and reach endeavor level of your body and quirk

Just snap the fucking neck, holy shit it shouldnt be this hard.

So who is going to be the last member that Dabi was talking about?

Hawks

new character

it's Hawks. If he actually shows up, it's probably the easiest way for the SPLA to score a propaganda win out of this

Hawks makes the most sense but there are cameras everywhere so if it gets out he's attacking civilians fighting the League he will have some serious explaining to do.

Attached: 1557449175528.png (535x632, 548K)

It's obviously Hawks

Waiting for Vigilantes anime.

Attached: 173022.jpg (365x483, 59K)

You better keep waiting then.

Attached: 1558330111718.jpg (388x375, 21K)

>anime
Its ending soon

Dabi only talked about him as a potential member, he never said he called him over to Deika. It would be great if it happened and Hawks suddenly got himself in this mess but I doubt it, that would mean Dabi already trusts him enough to expect him to bail them out instead of calling more heroes to capture the entire LoV in a fell swoop.

No it's not.

>Dabi tells Hawks that they're going to fight the SPLA
>Hawks rats them out instead of coming to help
>a fuck ton of heroes show up, including Endeavor, Edgeshot, Miruko and Kamui Woods
>10 minutes later the ground starts shaking

hyu don getu brink fenzu

Why does this looks like Caliborn's art from Homestuck?

He said contact, not member. So its Hawks.

Koichi's quirk is so much better and interesting than Deku's

>they wouldn't be killed had they just kept some minimum distance between each other.
Yeah but his ability to affect more than one person after initial contact is still a feat of its own. Having Spinner comment about it even after clearly showing this effect probably implies he's breaking some limiter.

Attached: 1554717857343.png (606x643, 342K)

Do you think the tobacco industry is "not a big deal"? Are you are aware that marijuana smoke contains anywhere between three to five times the amount of carcinogens that tobacco does depeneding on the strain? And that the reason why marijuana is seen as a safe drug by those armed only with anecdotal knowledge is because there has never been a long term comprehensive study on it's use largely due to the fact that A) It is and has been illegal. Resulting in B) Unregulated by the FDA and only until recently being slightly regulated by state agencies in those states that have legalized recreational use. Various CBD products have been regulated by the FDA but not marijuana itself. Which are consumed and affect the body in quite different ways, as I'm sure you know.
If you want to make the argument that "people should be able to do what they want with their bodies" then fine, there are plenty of legal substances that any idiot can ingest or inject into their bodies at their discretion. But to insist that unregulated drug-dealing of any substance that is deemed illegal by the federal government and kept illegal by voters and their elected representatives is "no big deal" is childish and ridiculous.
Go grow your own weed if you want, but sell it to your neighbor's child, teen, or any random schmuck, then yes you should be put in jail.

They had to add 7 more quirks onto that retard so he has some conflict or difficulty going forward. He's resolved almost everything but his virginity before that

Hori has been killing it with the significant panels lately.

This manga is going to suck so much once we are back to Deku

I like how no one acknowledged that Hori tossed mothra Deku on the first page of a chapter that didn't even show Deku a few chapters back. Shit literally looks like some user took a random manga page with a big fucking moth on it and slapped Deku's head on top, and no one fucking cared.

Attached: moth.png (924x1300, 384K)
