Now that the manga is nearing its conclusion Everyone saying there are still loose ends to tie up, think back to Bleach and TWGOK. They left all manner of things unresolved or wrapped them up tout suite in the final chapter., what do you wish the manga had done more of? What stories did you want to see or what characters did you want developed?
>More Taisho-era exposition/worldbuilding, with more modern technology featured like cars or machine guns, or showing more of Japanese life in the city during this time period >Zenitsu powering up his Lightning Form training arc >Better pacing between arcs >More of the history of Pillars and former Pillars >Pic-related
Yizhi helped Xiangnai to grab the knife back. But then the wig was gone by the child. Tong Mo said that he knew the face of Yi Zhi.

Google Translate If nothing else its funny as shit
Camden Nelson
There've been several manga that ended recently when they got anime. I think Ballroom e Youkoso counts, but I can't remember the others.
Benjamin Cruz
Ballroom didn't end, it went on hiatus again.
Owen White
Could the wig be a reference to Inosuke's boar head?
Nicholas Johnson
Citrus ended a few months after its anime did.
The got a sequel series that pretty much just carries on with the story
Could be, buts google translate is slightly less reliable then divination
Christian Gutierrez
HEEEEY, i worked hard. I used hot keys and everything
Chase Moore
Just Inosuke helping out Kanao to get her sword and Douma telling him that he already has seen his face before. (the boar head is gone)
Easton Moore
>nearing conclusion Either sis is not a demon or the shit doesn't work and they find out that they too need the spider lily. They haven't even announced that the series is ending and there's an easy continuation from the current arc.
Ryan Perez
pig assault mom flashback soon
Carson Taylor
Douma killed Inosuke's human mom.
Kevin Jenkins
I hate the all the flashbacks. Douma will likely get 4 chapters when he dies
Jaxson Johnson
What if Douma reveals she's alive? Or all his family?
It's definitely a drag once you catch up and are following week to week, when you wanna just get on with the story. But I think the insight on Demons not just being generally evil is nice.
Cooper Bailey
>douma >dying
Jackson Parker
Do either of them fit Tanjirou's preference of women?
>Now that the manga is nearing its conclusion I came here to call you a dumbass and laugh at you. The first has been taken care of, so I'm just here to laugh at you.
>Now that the manga is nearing its conclusion fucking finally
Christopher Price
kind of annoying how conveniently coincidental this all is
James Perry
Well Shiba Inu are pretty active and intelligent as well as decent hunters even if they’re not too strong but they’re also very stubborn dogs so the closest one to that would probably be Aoi.
Dominic Adams
They were trying to end the arc at the same time as the manga before going on eternal Japanese Cold hiatus.
Levi Turner
> no argument Yup, ignore reality.
Austin Cox
Do you honestly think a shounen manga is going to let the big bad die while the main character is out of commission?
Colton Taylor
Midori
Grayson Young
Good point, guess the MC will now recover in half an hour.
Gavin Moore
Too bad that it would go against everything we've seen in the manga and it's more likely that every will playout with what we've seen than make baseless assumptions like how Tanjirou can now suddenly not have to rest for weeks or months on end, as has been the case for nearly every encounter with an UM.
I don't know why Goto even bothered to write in snakeboy's crush on Midori.
Caleb Wilson
She would be a great replacement for Kanao
Connor Roberts
Snek>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Your favorite character
Jace Campbell
so douma recognizes inosuke perhaps? are we going to get some kind of douma killed inosuke's old man who taught him how to read?
Zachary Parker
Based Ichikabro
Henry Sullivan
Inosuke probably takes after his mom, and as we know, Douma kinda has a thing for killing women. So I could see Douma being responsible for killing Inosuke's mom, and Inosuke going berserk. Honesty it's a pretty good way to go about Inosuke getting actually angry and not just pig assaulting for the sake of pig assaulting, although that's fun too.
Inosuke awakens his mark for sure in the chapter after this upcoming one.
Liam Long
breath of the beast mark should be dope, I hope it's like a bite mark or something
Jose Bennett
That is a hilariously retarded opinion you have there, sweet child.
Aiden Diaz
Id imagine they’ll probably speed Spider Mountain up a bit so they can end with Aniki vs Akaza with the last scene being Uzui’s intro before the Gyuutaro+Daki arc.
Dominic Ramirez
We still don't know if they'll speed up during cour 2 to finish train or not
Matthew Anderson
More like both, Douma is provoking and playing with them. Actually I find interesting that only Tanjirou had awaken his marks from the 5 rookies.
Jonathan Morgan
Is he a repressed gay?
Michael Edwards
Kanao will be first and waaay cooler
James Green
At two chapters an episode, they are most definitely not going to cover towards the end of Demon Train in 26 eps.
Kevin Rodriguez
Wouldn't that entirely depend in how big Douma's cult is? It should be pretty big after a few(?) centuries He probably has a huge body count by now
Andrew Jenkins
For sure, what she was talking about last chapter while being mad was the exact conditions, body temp and heart rate
Thomas Robinson
That & the fact that most, if not all, of his victims are women is the main reason he’s as high on the upper moon scale as he is. He has a sweet setup going on, admittedly. A constant supply of food that literally comes to you? All you gotta do is hide it away and defend it when necessary. Basic predator logic.
Oh, these are all prize figs. I was thinking maybe since the base was different, they'd be part of a different set. That's a bit disappointing since I don't really like the quality of the Tanjirou and Nezuko.
I only know Tanjiro, Nezuko, Inosuke and Zenitsu. I just refer to the pillars by their respective elements.
Caleb Morris
It took me a while to memorize each character name.
Eli Thomas
Ditto. The other characters don't feel important enough for me to even bother
Camden Cooper
I just forget snek, wind, and rock pillar.
David Watson
Inosuke's beast style has to be an offshoot of another style right? Even Kochou's bug style is an offshoot of the flower style which in turn is an offshoot of the wind style. Or is Inosuke just such a natural talent that he created his own style from nothing?
Jaxson Walker
there was an announcement that the author will be back soon.
Oliver Robinson
The pillars do almost nothing together and tend to have singular arcs focused on them.
They're nice and all but don't get too excited.
Ryder Johnson
MENACING
John Hernandez
As far as we know he made it up, but it could resemble another style like Rock or something
Daniel James
>Or is Inosuke just such a natural talent that he created his own style from nothing?
>shinobu seducing both tanjirou and inosuke B-but that's lewd!
Jose Cox
>Is Shinobu dead? >It can't be, she's not dead! >This woman is inside me, eternally existing. No wonder Inosuke is mad
Lucas Peterson
The absolutely unparalleled retardation of faggots that actually think the series is ending. This is only the end of the series' second act. The next will have a training/recovery arc at the end of which our main five will replace the pillars that die (Shinobu, Himejima) or are incapacitated (likely Tokitou) by the end of this one. Muzan, Kokushibou, and Douma will all survive this arc and need to be dealt with in the following acts. Wani isn't a hack, and the series isn't a flop for so many idiots to think it's getting axed.
Adam Thomas
Cute
Colton Myers
Side possibility that Wani's health could cause hiatus or cancelation.
Justin Smith
is she confirmed unwell? that would fucking suck.
Brody Campbell
not confirmed. another possibility could be a loss of interest in making the series.
Mason Phillips
Ino is boar. Boar pillar or beast pillar.
Andrew Moore
Hiatus yes but cancelation only in your ass. Besides, that was back in December she got ill and then she recovered. If she was sick, then all her author comments wouldn't be about her enjoying things.
Adrian Richardson
>holding hands with a female
wouldn't he consider that shit gross or something?
Mason Lopez
He never said he finds women disgusting or something like that. He only see them as weak beings.
Liam Sullivan
What did they promise?
Brayden Barnes
I can think of one reason, but "health issue" would be mislabeling, but something that is a career killer for women in Japan.
Landon Kelly
Confirmed, Wani is pregnant with my child
Xavier Bailey
I thought crocs laid eggs
Adrian Stewart
Really? Mothers don't work over there?
Carson Young
Fucking based.
Cooper Wilson
t. Boozebeat's author.
Jack Kelly
I am on chapter 35. When does this shit gets interesting?
Parker Clark
Spider arc but if you didn't like until now you should probably drop it, it's probably not for you.
Joshua Powell
they are expected to be stay at home mom/wife...
If it is the case, maybe Wani want to avoid long hiatus for one reason or another, like the risk of losing interest.
Lincoln Green
It's not that I didn't like it, I just don't find it unique enough.
Leo Fisher
The manga is not nearing its conclusion. We're nearing a turning point. They are not going to kill UM2, 1, and Muzan in one arc. It's begging for an arc where the main graduates become pillars.
Flashbacks are fine as resolutions that put a cap on a fight. That's like this manga's signature. I dislike the flashbacks that happen just to be paid off right after during the fight.
Kayden Clark
>unique drop it
Matthew Wood
Because they have two cours and are confident in the material. They don't need to rush to introduce everything like a new manga fearful of the axe.
William Young
Kimetsu is more similar to a shounen from early 2000's, you probably won't find it very unique.
The most hype part for me is when Nezuko turned into demon and the scene changed to Muzan and the upper moon.
Leo Smith
I don't know if just me, but I had a feeling that Swamp Demon maybe a serial rapist when he was still a human ? His habit gave me the felt that he's some one like that in the past.
>reading old threads from when the series was just starting and Togashi recommended it >a few people were saying that Gotouge could be a Togashi in the making Interesting stuff
Makes me wonder about some questions, now that this series is pretty far in: >How do you feel about KnY's overall writing quality compared to other shonen? The way it tackles themes, its tone, depth of the characters/plot, etc? >Do you think crocodile-sensei's writing has improved compared to the start of the story?
This latest arc has been pretty good, but I felt that UM 4 and 5 fights were kinda weak and in red light district neck cut cliffhanger was overused
Robert Brown
>Now that the manga is nearing its conclusion No.
Nolan Williams
dump please
Brody Cox
Started reading it because of the Togashi rec. Got really into it starting from the Spider arc and I still love it. I find the pacing a bit weird sometimes.
>>How do you feel about KnY's overall writing quality compared to other shonen? Probably my favorite current shonen, but I dont think the plot is the strongest point of the manga, neither is the worldbuilding. I think what this manga does the best is appealing to the feelings of the reader, and I think Gotouge may be one of the best at it of all current mangakas. >themes One of the most important themes in kimetsu its family and I think the author does an amazing job at showing the value of the relatioship with parents and siblings. >its tone Even though gotouge loves doing potato faces, she keeps it mostly in training arcs, you can clearly see a change in the artstyle when tanjirou is in the middle of a battle and when he is playing with the 3 little girls. When she does a battle arc, she keeps it very intense, the battle are always fast and you always feel worried about what might happen to the characters. also, Kimetsu has a sad tone when you are reading a flashback, you dontt get almost none comedy scene during them. >depth of the characters/plot For now most of the characters have been through some kind of change zince the first time we saw them, in a way most of them have grown a little, the plot its meh, there is not lot you can do with it since gotouge introduced the main villains and his strongest goons since chapter 30. >>Do you think crocodile-sensei's writing has improved compared to the start of the story? Yes very clearly I would say. I would gladly read whatever she writes in the future
Nah, it's not ending yet. But since Muzan and UM1 are guaranteed to survive and Muzan recognizing Tanjirou as a threat maybe we'll see more demons like Muzan later? Maybe he'll flee in Korea or China and find out there are actually Daywalker demons like Nezuko, while Tanjirou chases after him. Would be a nice change if we'll be temporaroly follow Muzan's shenanigans, like how HxH ditched Gon in favor of Hisoka and Kurapika. Cute Potato!
Newly revealed contents in databook: - Taisho Secrets - The roots of Kimetsu, storyboards of "Kisatsu no Nagare" - Profiles of the members of the Demon Slayer Corps - New 9 page manga included Next issue reveals new VA cast for the anime (probably just Susamaru and Yahaba demons' VAs we knew already)
It would be hilarious if Douma killed Inosuke's boar mom
Brayden Jenkins
FLEXIBLE
Austin Baker
Douma's instant steal power too OP. pls nerf
Joshua Myers
That arm is bent at more points than there are joints in it.
Jeremiah Edwards
Does that mean Inosuke can suck his own dick? Just saying, not like I'm interested or anything haha
Julian Morgan
>o my rubber joints
Angel Bennett
Inosuke PLEASE stop stealing others' wives
Parker Wilson
Kimetsu has to end before I make any judgements on it. It still has tons of potential to go horribly wrong just like every other shonen. I mean Togashi is the perfect example of that, he's never stuck the landing on anything.
Blake Kelly
It's just a meme.
Justin Thomas

Emoting Kanao is cute as fuck.
Anthony King
I love panels like this and the way Croc draws blood
Evan Garcia
>Now that the manga is nearing its conclusion A rock always can change that.
Jacob Young
Tanjiro and Inosuke both belong to the top.
Andrew Moore
What if the other pairs of eyes belong to other sundudes and he's gonna be a schizo like Sensui?
One of his eyes was shown waning when Akaza died so they're probably linked to UM 2-5
Brayden Bell
kek potato wife looking very cute
Aiden Harris
>recently caught up on the manga >was fully expecting Tanjirou to be adopted from the fact that he looks nothing like his family, was the oldest so his siblings would never know and that explanation we got early smelled like a red herring >would have also gave him licence to fuck Nezuko to make all the incest shippers happy >never happened
I really want him to absolutely destroy whatever pillars he encounter, like downright one-shot them. So tired of seeing upper moons jobbing.
Nathaniel Murphy
>he looks nothing like his family You have sight problems?
Luke Fisher
>was fully expecting Tanjirou to be adopted from the fact that he looks nothing like his family He had a younger brother who was literally his clone, just without a scar.
Jack Watson
We've literally seen him slither like a snake through an impossibly tight hole 50 chapters ago. His bones clearly are malleable.
Evan Garcia
Different hair color is a big deal, also different facial features but that can be attributed to MC syndrome and the scar making him look different.
Joshua Green
>Almost all of the UMs had to be fought with multiple people so far >jobbing The oinly one who "jobbed" is jar because he had to be used to show that Mist is a prodigy
Nathaniel King
That's wrong, retard.
Luke Sullivan
They all jobbed because they couldn't be beat fairly. The problem with that is the manga's high stakes. It means every fight progresses in the exact same way. The demon shows up and looks extremely badass by handling everyone but for some reason refuses to go in for the kill (because the manga isn't going to kill any good guys if it's not directly passing the torch on). Then suddenly the people who were being so badly whipped just decide to get serious and make fools of the demons as they kill them. Basically every Moon's death could be justified if they at least got one or two kills in on the fights where they died. Instead we are merely told they've historically gotten lots of kills but when we see them they completely fumble (and since they die, they can't get a second chance to prove themselves).
Jordan Gomez
>anime onlies
Gavin Jenkins
>they completely fumble I wouldn't call the fights >completely fumble When 6 and 4 were a 4 vs 1 and 3 had to self destruct.
Parker Thompson
Dude what, if anything it's more noticeable in the manga
Chase Hernandez
At this point he’s basically Zidane from FF9 in terms of his steal.
Nathaniel Howard
I haven't seen him trying for half an hour to steal something even in trance.
Robert Hughes
>They all jobbed because they couldn't be beat fairly That isn't jobbing then. If anything the fact that they are so powerful would be the opposite of jobbing. Vegeta vs Perfect Cell 1 is the textbook example of jobbing. None of the UMs had that happen to them except jar. They don't need to kill a character just to show they're powerful; you know they're powerful because the heroes need multiple people just to stay alive. I do think UM1 will get a kill however
Hunter Gonzalez
By fairly I didn't mean numbers of opponents, I mean fairly in-universe. The rules of the universe have to be intentionally broken just to keep the Moons from winning or at least getting kills. The Moons literally are forced to lose to fit a narrative and are jobbers by the original definition of the word (as it relates to wrestling). Their role in to manga is to make the heroes look really strong, but we never actually get to see the Moons themselves fight for real.
I wonder if Inosuke’s mom abandoned him because of something related to Douma’s cult and his preference for women
Asher Lee
This cat is not ugly and gay enough. Cat/10
Jose Perez
Boars for the boar god.
Oliver Howard
I have class to go to today, you won't see me back here to do the chapter for at least eight hours, probably a bit more, it's really early
Jason Phillips
>literally hamon zoom punch
Nicholas Lopez
Zenitsu a cute
Matthew Smith
Probably the special blood type kids, upvoteman and ball girl show up tomorrow in the anime.
Nathaniel Gomez
Pillar of Jelly Arms
Hudson Lewis
What's going on here?
Owen Flores
Holy fuck.
Dominic Price
So is this all an extension of his sense of touch? Like with the moving heart
Hunter Bennett
Technically, his sense of touch is his whole body, so he can rarrange organs and bones. It's similar to what he did to get through the whole dring the red light district arc, just more evident.
rough translation from my friend >inosuke says to kanao "you're injured. Shinobu's going to be mad at you!". And kanao just replied with a sad face like she's going to cry. >And then inosuke asks "is she dead? Shinobu." >Douma says, "she's not dead! She's going to continue living inside me" >flashback shinobu says to inosuke "I've already closed the wound. Don't touch it and don't remove the bandage." "Let's pinky swear/promise"
Cooper Lopez
Fuck off, I want Kanao to be my wife
Brody Ward
Inosuke's insane limb bending powers that people forget he has because they were originally presented as a joke.
Aiden Morris
>that inosuke I'm literally bottom panel Kanao right now
Owen White
It doesn't, you can now go to another series thread and never come back to these, please.
Zachary Hernandez
He's made of rubber. How did that happen?
Evan Fisher
Yo yo yo I don't really know
Isaiah Flores
The first thing he did when introduced was bend his spine 360°, pretty sure he can suck his own dick easily. >haha
Landon Sullivan
Haha the madman
Christian Harris
Douma could have killed them both instead of stealing their shit
Brandon Kelly
unless stealing is a demon blood trick and not pure speed??
even then tho, wont be the 1st time a Moon dies cause it decided to dick around
Luke Bell
>women can't be succesors
the madwoman
Andrew Diaz
Flashback about first oni?
Dominic Lopez
I suspect the lineage has inherited memories innately and that's why they all seem so enlightened and mature for their age
Julian Ortiz
It's OK to be boar
David Sanchez
Scar aside, they are even harder to tell appart in the Manga.
Blake Rogers
I agree with everything you said!
Carter Gutierrez
Get off the internet Zenistu
Grayson Cruz
>Douma says, "she's not dead! She's going to continue living inside me"
So is this metaphorical, like she's "alive" because she's now part of his body. Or is she actually meant to be alive still?
Kayden Lee
I think he's just being metaphorical.
Gabriel Thompson
Most likely just his way of fucking with the two. He'd already snapped Shinobu's spine with that hug of his.
Easton Diaz
That's almost every shonen villain ever. Antagonists with years if not decades of experiences and an established powerbase will get overturned by young upstarts. You're attributing "jobbing" to an inherent aspect of the genre.
Ryder Cruz
And she was bleeding out from that initial cut. It'd be pretty dumb for her to survive after all that.
Levi Howard
>Douma says, "she's not dead! She's going to continue living inside me" >"and she keeps leeching off my wifi to shitpost"
