you could make the argument that it's a literal translation EXCEPT IT'S FUCKING WRONG. the idiom is "the string on my bag of tolerance has snapped" so they managed to fuck up the translation of it despite being literal. And, English has a fucking exact equivalent to said idiom it's called "I'm at the end of my rope." which carries the same meaning. I've had enough is the way it was subbed by the non tv nihon group and yeah it doesn't contain the exact japanese meaning but guess what you're translating something to be consumed by people who don't speak fucking japanese so it's fine, it gets the meaning across and for something she says all the time having it be really complicated makes things more awkward. The English phrase you mentioned is not an "exact equivalent" at all. It makes me think of an angry prospector, not a nerd, and it's more correctly applied to a situation where you're running out of time for something or are about to die, not losing your patience. Someone definitely used that correct translation in heartcatch subs that I watched. And I saw it in other series where she said it before too. It's a perfect translation to translate that phrase literally.

To be at the end of your rope is to be out of resources that will continue to support you, so not what that means. You're probably thinking of "I've had it up to here" where you hold your hand up by your neck and then got it confused with "I'm at the end of my rope" because the phrase is also usually often accompanied by gesturing towards your neck, but also while miming erking the knot tight.

I know it's not a popular opinion to state that "direct translations are bad" but with regards to idioms (and puns) at the very least, yeah direct translations are bad.
A good translation localizes some things to a light degree, to make them understandable to the viewer (without outright changing the context or meaning.) An old-fashioned Japanese phrase translated into an old-fashioned English phrase is probably the best way to handle that, turning it into just a general statement is kinda weak but it's still better than leaving some confusing mess of technically correct words and either having to litter the screen with translation notes or just hoping the viewer knows what's going on.

Over-Time's been doing Rider since W (with some exceptions) and Sentai since Gokaiger, and there's some other notable groups like Rider-Time and EXCITE off the top of my head. Beyond that I think at this point (not 100% certain) all the Rider seasons from TV-N's dark ages have gotten either scrubs or full on retranslations by now. Not sure on Sentai but Shout Factory's got that on lockdown so I'm not worried about it.

Textually, "at the end of one's rope" can signify and end of patience but in actual usage, it's closer to "at wit's end", "I can't bear it any longer", "もう、たまらない", where the other is more of a "I've had enough of your shit", "you've/this has exhausted my patience", "あったまきたぞ". There are phrases that cover both meanings in context ("I can't take it anymore") but if you truly are translating for meaning, it would be important to not use an unnecessarily ambiguous phrase.

Both are older (not archaic, actually still sort of prevelant in more rural dialects), less used phrases that nowadays have been supplanted by "trendier" equivalents.

Unlike the other user posting Hacha designs, I appreciate having unique forms for each character and that is mostly realized in KiraKira rather well. The consistency is in the theme, not in the literal pieces of clothing they wear, which allows for more creativity.

I really like the Kira designs, but I do think they look a little strange in the anime pretty often. Because there's so many little pieces, they look weird unless they're rendered absolutely perfectly. Calling them busy sound too harsh. I'll say they're intricate.
The 3D animated dance numbers for Kira are hands down my favorite, not just for the songs which are great, but also for the dancing with those crazy awesome designs being perfectly rendered in motion.

Precure's designs as a whole are actually pretty good, maybe not in terms of universal appeal, but they definitely stick to a pile of sound design principles that probably go unnoticed to most. Simple things like being easily recognized in silhouette or from just one or two details, even if they aren't signature accessories, don't just happen by accident, particularly over this many seasons.
