He was thinking too hard and straining himself instead of staying loose and knowing how to just go with the flow of things, which was making him waste too much power and movement. The training so far has taught him to cut out a lot of the unnecessary tension and wasted movements so he's a lot more efficient now.

I wonder how he'll improve from now on now that he's fixed his major flaws. I'm interested in seeing his next steps.

Someone made a previous comment during the chapter where Ryuki and Koga were playing hopscotch about the clarity of the afterimages they left behind being indicative of how good their movements were. If that still holds true, I wonder if we can say that Koga actually improved at the end there? He made 4 punches there, and he just gradually became less and less blurry as he continued.

It's not like he won the position for him, though, so I would assume he wouldn't really think of it as being equivalent to being saved from dying buried in an underground tomb and being taught humanity. He left simply because he wanted to get stronger and not because he felt like he had finished paying back Metsudo; he stuck with Metsudo because he was loyal to him.

Although it's true that Karo's sense of balance could be thought of as being something that could be trained, like other user said, it made him permanently seasick on land unless he's given a concussion. Not really a good trade-off. Karo gets by because he's got a pretty tough body, but he's pretty much just making lemonade out of lemons with his situation.

Yeah that's pretty much it, he was established as a fighter from the start but his fuckups when it came to how he fought and trained pretty much kept him from realizing his full potential so they're just showing him the right way to use his muscles. His talent are having a good attitude and accepting input from others and having extremely good eyes that can catch details in movements (but until now he couldn't do much with that because his body can't really keep up).

Grappling is a cool style and him being smaller than the other fighters but making up for it with his holds is interesting. But even then, the extent to which his fight with Akoya continued to drag on when he had his ribs broken, a chunk of his thigh ripped out, and continuously being smashed around, and at one point was literally crying and pissing himself but still managed to win because "lol oh yeah I don't like losing" was reaching pretty far. Sure, other fighters got beaten badly pretty similarly, but they either had much larger physical frames or some kind of defensive techniques to mitigate the damage somewhat. Granted, he did end up in a wheelchair after that, but even that wasn't enough to stop him from being one of Ohma's toughest fights.

They should have been able to call the match when Cosmo was like one word away from saying "I give up" but Akoya clearly covered his mouth at the last second. It's not like they aren't able to use their own judgement to call a fight, because during the Ohma and Raian fight the ref was getting ready to call the match when Ohma was down but Raian just told him to shut up and he was like "oh ok" and just waited for Ohma to regain conscious.

I think it's more likely that he just sees the characters and the businesses as "the same thing" and doesn't concern himself with what corporate politics would actually be like. It's not like Cosmo was that overwhelmed, user. The middle part of the fight just set up how much Cosmo couldn't really have an equal exchange of blows with Adam. It's not like Cosmo was unable to avoid Adam's hits, the issue was that every time Cosmo tried to rain blows down on him, that just gave Adam an opportunity to get one blow in on him. And that one blow was essentially worth a lot more than all the other hits Cosmo could have gotten in at that time.

So Cosmo had to change strategies and lure Adam into throwing all of his strength into an attack, and that's pretty much it. It's not a 'miracle shot', as you say, since Adam wasn't overwhelming him in technique or speed. Cosmo simply couldn't help but show an opening, since he was simply not at the level of the higher tier martial artists who are capable of dodging, deflecting, parrying, and countering punches thrown in close quarters while throwing out his own punches, at least not at that time. That doesn't mean he wouldn't be capable of eluding Adam's punches when that's all he's preparing for.

Well, I guess this settles the issue of whether CEO would be in the tournament or not.

Call me an unbeliever but I think Inaba's style, is still pretty magical, he often throws his head to make only a part of his hair to move and bind or strike the opponent like a whip (yes I know that he often visibly uses hands to help with that, but not always). I mean, it isn't as ridiculous an anime man with magically moving wires (like Walter from Hellsing) or a pants-on-head retarded "I win" button as the wires of a certain girl autist who thinks she is a spider, but still pretty unbelievable.
