Idk I torrent them and watch with VLC.

PotPlayer is pretty nice.

MPV

>use MPC-HC
>try to watch something that's 480p in full screen
>subtitles look like a blurry mess
At least MPV upscales them

>480p
>2019
wtf is wrong with you

Tell me where to find the secret 1080p BD rips for Kenshin, buddy.

I used to use MPC-HC for ages but after I recently made the switch to MPV I can't imagine going back.

do you even madVR + LAV filters?

>mfw vlc is the best now

Every time I start a series I try out the first minute or so on each player and then pick the one that looks best. I think MPC-HC is the best choice most of the time, but sometimes it clearly isn't.

>wangblows
MPC-HC (clsid2 fork)
>loonix
MPV
>FagOS
kys

You might be retarded.

Funimation app

Isn't the clock ticking on MPC-HC? All it'll take is for some change in video format and we'll have to jump ship.

Notepad

madvr barely makes a difference. Not even worth it.

>not watching old shit
>current year posting
kys my man

See . There is a guy still making maintenance updates for it.

Open with Notepad, print it out and eat the paper.

I have both but they don't upscale the subtitles automatically and as pointed out I am too retarded to figure out the setting that does that.
I'll do anything, please teach me.

Not the same user but can you tell us what's wrong with it?

DVD and the best part is, you can just buy them

Or actually, you have to install it first. I forgot that this didn't come with MPC.

>barely makes a difference
if youre watching in 1080p or most of the available 720p (aka new content) then yes, cant disagree
if youre watching 480p or some of the exceptions to the 720p from above (aka old content) then it does make a difference

Does it upscale? I thought it was supposed to put some color balancing filters on or some shit. When I was using it I could see for some shows anytime the scene changed it took a fraction of a second for the filter to kick in so you could see the color flashing all the time.

yes

It worked, thanks user. It wasn't showing up in the menu so I finally uninstalled CCCP and redownloaded each component individually.
