As someone who has been a member of a couple of bands myself the feels that k-on evoked in me by reminding me of the whole 'joy and magic of being in your first band' experience was incredibly powerful. So many 'I remember that' moments is what made me really fall in love with the series. I actually didn't want to watch it at first because of the fact I had been in bands but damn I was glad I did. So much instrument porn, the shot of those Iron Cobras got me hard as fuck!

It's the 00s Anime of the Decade after all.
