Yeah, thank god this didn't turn out to be a harem (yet). Melida is a great character and for once, we get a capable female main character that isn't only a damsel in distress. The vampire thing was indeed cliche (this is a manga after all), but didn't really surprise me, considering the whole muh dark past.

I'm surprised more LNs haven't gone the raw ability and experience route rather than special powers when they seem to start that way.

Reading Blood Sign for the fights is doing it wrong, you read it to see how much deeper Kyousuke is going to shove his foot down his throat.

But he outright loses twice in volume 6 even before counting all the times he fucks himself over due to his autism.
