Tried, it's a fucking mess to read through. Medekabox has a glimmer of something good. I like what the mangaka attempts to do, but is failed by sub-par writing and plenty of dialogue that means very little to the characters or the story.
It's a difficult manga to read, but has nothing to do with the level of writing, and everything to do with word vomit and odd pacing.
I think it should have held more onto the parody elements, because that's the strongest point of it.

One of my favorite manga, remember seeing this AMV of Kumagawa and picked up the anime. Then the manga, Kumagawa arc is one of the best arcs in shonen.

If they just skipped the first arc, or condensed it too like 3 episodes and then went straight into the abnormal arc into Kumagawa then it would have been a success. Everyone loves Kumagawa.
