Mangadex lists two artists. Not sure if it's two people doing the art (which would make things much easier I suppose) or if it's like Kyochuu Rettou where the first artist got sick or something and the mangaka got a different artist to take over (incidentally REDICE, one of the artists for this series is also doing the art for that one)

Mecha is specifically pretty original, and battle shonen storytelling and flow is unique to manga. Isekai is mostly shit, yes but it is original nonetheless. Wholesome yet somewhat daring manga slice of life style stories are usually unheard of outside japan.
