I tried to watch Haruhi almost a decade ago (when it already aired), but I ended dropping, I think it is time to give another try. From what I understand Haruhi eps. weren't aired in chronological order (Perhaps that's the reason I found it so boring and annoying?), so how I should watch it? and I know there is a movie too, I've watched some parts for some reason. Seeing how much Yea Forums loves her I think I have to give it another try, before someone spoils it to me.

Haruhi season 3 will be an exact recreation of season 1 but with the flip phones replaced by smart phones.
Also it will have lots of bloom lighting and blurry backgrounds to make it look more cinematic or something gay like VEG.

I stil don't know how to feel about this show. It was so big when it came out. I watched it then, when I was still new to anime as a whole. People then believed it was, in a way, the dawn of a new era. I also believed that, like Dragon Ball and Evangelion before it, it would stand as a landmark in the history of anime.
Instead, we got shittier and shittier CGI, the reign of copypasted haremshit and isekai and the loss of almost all semblance of originality in the industry. Haruhi remains here, wasted by that joke Endless Eight was, still without an ending or a conclusion, with an aging and dwindling fandom.
Really makes you melancholic, huh.
