It's definitely an interesting take on drawing paranormal entities and I like how the author decided to draw monstrosities instead of ghoul-like creatures. Manga artist should have drawn an action manga instead, but then this is a unique manga too.

Nah, it's probably 散会 which could mean "Adjourn" or "Disperse", seeing how they all left afterward.

Obviously it was eating the lesser spirits that were after the tiddy so that it would become strong enough to get at the tiddy by itself.

She's just the magnet for it's food, so if it sticks around her it gets easy meals. Probably the same thing with the "god" and why it stays on the shrine.

Given that the particular japanese word has dual meaning and both are relevant to the situation, the word needs to be re-translated. Something that captures the spirit of both. Maybe the monster god is saying "disperse" and maybe she took that as "disperse" or maybe the monster god is saying "demon child" and she took that as "disperse" or maybe the monster god is saying "disperse" but she took that as "monster girl"

Whatever the case, this needs a proper resolution in proper translation.

Whether or not that gesture is true or not, she doesn't see it. She only hears it. Given her anxious form, I doubt she's thinking about this monster granting her wish rather wishing the monster not notice her.

Budhist here, those aren't hand gesture.
The "God" is "sprinkling" stuff (i.e. incense into fire, salt into water) which signifies the act of purifying before the start of a spiritual activity.
In this case, the God used leaf, which can be seen scattering on the bottom left panel.
