Anime that wasted their potential.
Anime that wasted their potential
Bitchy middle sister was so hot
>Pirate never came back for oldest sister.
Everyone was hot, especially sky pirate Araragi (no homo).
Kado.
This too.
We need more series with 3 sisters in an adventure. Opening was nice
Shield Hero.
>wasn't 25 episodes of sucking on this girl's tummy
What a waste.
salami san
shinkuromanika
itsu no ma ni ka
What a fucking disaster and disappointment.
But user, just remember glorious the threads were.
I don't know, I got plenty of faps from it and the fanart.
Shit, HOW did I forget an entire word? Maybe nobody will notice.
Don't worry, I read it even though it wasn't there.
Thanks brain.
>Bitchy
Are we calling "common sense" now this?
the lewd ED and the episode about the dead lolis are the highlights of the animoo
Is it worth a rewatch; I dropped it while it was airing at the fifth episode
Yes, it's all pretty enjoyable until the story jumps into lightspeed rush mode in the last two episodes.
Apparently it was meant to be two-cour originally.
>almost all originals ITT
Is it fair to say originals are held to a higher expectation? Perhaps an unfair one?
naruto
Aldnoah
Log Horizon
Symphogear GX.
It's harder to think of an anime that fully lived up to its potential.
Lain, Teekyuu, and Milky Holmes I suppose.
On Yea Forums, if an original show doesn't do exactly what a poster wants they call it wasted potential. The term holds about as much meaning as "pretentious" or "edgy".
WIXOSS after the first season.
Once the cast got separated, my interest dropped precipitously
They should be held to a higher expectation. Originals are usually much rarer than an adaptation and should be complete. Most adaptations, even if cookie-cutter, are at the mercy of the source and the committee for axing it after a season / before the story is done because its job as promotion is over.
GAF had all the right ingredients
if only they hadn't turned the writing over to some 6-year-old whose idea of good storytelling was to start a new mini character arc every five minutes and never go anywhere with any of them
ah well, we'll always have Paris
I'd say it's more like adaptations are held to an unreasonably low standard.
Kenja no Mago gets less hate than Fairy Gone, just because LN adaptations are acknowledged as shit to begin with.
It's right to criticise originals, but I wish people would point that same lens at the trashdaptations they keep watching season after season.
