You are suggesting to me that I don't understand Kakine's character by attributing physical victories in his name, and that what I should be doing is attributing Beetle's birth and subsequent exploits as a victory to Kakine. I don't see it like that though.
The solution to Kakine isn't the birth of something he could have been. Kamachi certainly set Beetle up to push Kakine further, its why I started to dabble in that sleeping antagonist stuff because all this set up for one guy who was torn apart in one volume was just abnormally strange..The thematic point is right now in airs until Kakine is reintroduced and brought back with Beetle in the same scene, his subsequent reactions or developments with Beetle will allow us to gain a better read on it, I'm not disagreeing that Beetle is not important to Kakine overall, I'm just disagreeing that Beetle's birth isn't a victory to Kakine. In fact its going to set him in the wrong direction until someone forces him to look in the right direction.
My last part in the previous post may seem weird, but Kakine's delusions have reached that point where losing only mutates his wayward beliefs into something stronger and more dangerous, this is clearly evident by the extreme change in attitude and approach after his death. Kakine didn't learn his lesson from death, he became more obsessed with proving himself right. He didn't learn his lesson after being taken to Othinus, with the attitude he showed he would most certainly go back to AC and add Beetle and Takitsubo to his new hit list. It certainly doesn't help that every person he lost to has what he lacks. What Kakine needs at this point is a victory because his obsession with it is blinding him. Sure you might think "if he's obsessing over it will giving it to him really fix him" but attaining victory will allow him to reflect over what he truly wants rather then being blinded by obsession. At this point If he loses its merely another name to the hitlist for him.

Hamazura may take in the new product of OG Kakine+Beetle as an active member of Item or something but even that is nearly impossible but who knows, forgiveness is a major thing in toaru

It's really just Accel atm. Mugino too since she was uncharacteristically incorporated into all of his plots, even as Beetle (with Fremea and NT6).

The unpredictability makes it the most interesting to me. In Accel you pretty much know what will happen and same with Railgun but to a slightly lesser extent. Junko is powerful in her own right but she's not overpowered so her fights are also more interesting because of this. Railgun does have some great fights as well but you kinda know how it's going to end.

The only worthwhile fights in the series at this point are Kuroko and Junko fights.

All the normal characters are so overpowered that it’s just them shooting magic at each other and blocking it.
