Loved Boogiepop a fuck ton, Natsume getting to do another passion project is always exciting to see, but definitely not. This was easily the episode of the year, every moment of its production was great and the amount of legendary talent combined to work on it with one of the best schedules a production has had in ages easily made this one of the best-directed and most stunningly animated episodes of an anime this decade.

Same with the scarecrow-nagi scene(s).
It's crazy how this all happened in one episode and still felt percfectly believable. If you think about it, he met her and died for her in the same episode.
