I dropped Franxx. Enjoying the shit out of Cross Ange though. It's not even a trainwreck, it's just a good show. It's not without it's flaws though, Tusk sucks as a character and they keep trying to force him on the based FeMC. There's literally nothing to his character other than that he wants to fuck Ange. That's literally it.

Kado was most definitely a trainwreck, but in a different way than what OP likely means. It wasn't a fun clusterfuck like Geass, Vulvarape or Cross Ange. It was just a show with a good premise and great beginning that just shit the bed completely in a bad, non-fun way.
