I’m gonna be honest, I’m not sure if it’s just me or what but I find this show’s comedy bits very unfunny. Like, I find myself maybe chuckling like 3 times at most each episode. It’s weird because, while I know he has a very particular way of writing comedy which doesn’t work for everyone and I understand that, this director’s past works were usually actually extremely funny to me when they needed to be, including Boueibu. There’s just something about the way the humor is executed this time around that feels really forced or something and it leaves me feeling sort of awkward.
Not to say that I’m not enjoying this show though, it’s still super fun and I love Yang so I’ll keep watching for him, and I’m really interested in learning of Hatchi’s backstory. I’m just curious if anyone else here feels the same way I do about this?

I agree it's not laugh out loud funny, but I don't thnk that's what it's aiming for. It's just a pretty fun and chill watch. Honestly most light hearted comedies are like that, at least for me. It's rare I'll actually physically laugh at a show. So long as the characters are somewhat endearing (and Yang pretty much steals the show here) I'm happy enough.

I'm really enjoying a lot, for the reasons you stated and for the humor as well; the goofy-ness is refreshing after a lot of serious shows in a row, I end up chuckling many times per ep so maybe I just have a different sense of humor. Besides the characters are too endearing.

It might not get brought up again unfortunately, since this is a comedy, but it is pretty clear he would be pretty miserable if the people following him tried to force him to leave Robi and Ikku now; the three of them like each other and care a lot about each other as we saw in this episode.
It would be interesting to see the guys tackle it and get some sort of happy ending if they do bring it up again.
