Doesn't matter. Pretty sure there's going to be that one guy who screeches like an autist, and your voice will be drowned out in the sea of other anons. Just pretend it's karaoke night and have fun with it.
files.catbox.moe/rtczqv.mp3 Like last time no effects and it's clipping every other second because I haven't sorted the volumes yet, but I've gone through and timed the lines so that should be okay.
Carson Brooks
They're only posted when releases happen so that people don't conflate us with generals.
Fuck, I wish I had known about this sooner. I could've recorded bass, keyboard, and/or guitar for this. I could do mix/mastering but it looks like someone is already on it.
this maybe submit your recording of bass and see if it's better? the one in this preview isn't following the music at all.
Lincoln Torres
>maybe submit your recording of bass and see if it's better This. If I had known one of us would be doing it ironically, I wouldn't have taken it seriously too. Seriously though, three of the four did it properly, so for the fourth guy to do it like this kinda undermines the whole thing. Sorry bassfag.
Adrian Allen
I agree. I think it's super cool that the guitar and keyboard are actually good and that kei user is confident in her mixing abilities, and it would be cool if the bass turned out good too, because if the end product turns out great, it goes to demonstrate how much a simple TV series can motivate people to do their best. Obviously joke submissions are a part of the deal and I absolutely don't want to tell people not to have fun, but it's one thing to have a joke vocal or a kazoo or something that's going to get mixed in with the other submissions, and it's another thing to have a joke bass occupying the bass slot while there's someone else who would have done it seriously.
Yeah. Personally, I would put it this way: Yea Forums sings has always revolved around the singing part. No matter how much I like the instrument aspect, at the end of the day its purpose is simply to provide a foundation for the vocals, so the instruments are just an added bonus. To use a joke submission as the foundation of the instruments (bass) would just detract from and obfuscate our main star - the vocals. If we wanted to express ourselves through musical instruments, I think fills and solos should be enough in this case.
But ultimately it's up to kei user whether he/she? would accept a new bass submission.
On a sidenote, I know it's still a WIP, but just in case you haven't noticed, keyboard is a bit loud, drums are a bit soft, and guitar is too soft. Also, in the spirit of the original single mix, personally I'd pan the keyboard slightly left and the guitar slightly right, both at equal volume. Just my two cents.

Logan Adams
I think it's more like a work-hasn't-even-started-yet than a WIP. It's just time-aligned.
On the bass situation, if someone else wants to do it, or if the original bassist wants to re-record that is fine by me, for the final version I will just choose the best one. Like I said, I've not touched volumes yet but I'll keep that in mind once I start doing the panning and volumes, and it's she
I will try to record and send it before the deadline but I'm not sure if I'm going to make it, this is going to be a very busy week.
Angel Hernandez
Hopefully submitting by tomorrow! Very excited to sing with my br/a/hs!
Josiah Watson
Also a reminder to make sure to get the "Sou Nechao!" bit in even at the cost of the last nechao. Don't worry if you've already submitted without it but any anons yet to submit try and get it in. Good luck anons
Aiden Young
She's 174 cm, what do you expect?
Ryan Allen
wait she's taller than me
Ryder Hill
I hope you're a cute girl
Jackson Ross
you will be disappointed.
Isaiah Cruz
Did Orchestr/a/ ever sing You Wa Shock or Forces?
Anthony Gomez
Even better!
Dominic Sullivan
they don't normally sing haha but you wa shock is in progress, it's been waiting on the drum part for a while now
Zachary Garcia
Good to know. I'd also love to hear Yea Forums's version of Sweet Duet or something like the rain song from Shoujo Shuumatsu
Cool, I'll transcribe a proper bass part this evening and submit a recording before Thursday night, then. I know it sounds retarded but about 10 years ago, K-ON was a big part of what made me finally get serious and motivated about making a career out of music, so this particular Chinese cartoon has had a crazy impact on my life. Thanks anons.
It's not that retarded, it's the same for me. It's not like I watched K-ON and thought "oh shit I'm going to make a career out of music", but K-ON pretty concretely made me interested in learning the guitar at a time when I already knew how to play the drums and a bunch of other instruments and then I was suddenly able to make music all on my own, which got me into the whole production/recording/mixing/mastering side of things and I'm starting to have my first actual clients now. K-ON's role in all of that was very crucial, and had it not been for K-ON, I would probably not be where I am with my music career, and the fact that I am at this point right now gives me hope that maybe some day I can contribute towards a work of art that moves other people the way K-ON (and many other works) moved me.
My dad caught me singing and called me a faggot, wat do?
Landon Perez
>probably coming out when I'm in Japan and can't check Gonna be damn hard to wait until July. Sure hope you guys will enjoy my kazoo.
Samuel Butler
What were these made with again? I did a good number back when they were hip and new in like 2014 but can't recall what was used for them.
Nathaniel Reyes
I'm in the same situation, I don't wanna get caught singing
Camden Sanders
Happy 10th anniversary since moe genre became a thing and K-on created a retarded fanbase that flooded Yea Forums for god knows how long. I find it surprising that there are still fans here who like this shit, I don't know how you haven't killed yourselves yet.
Getting a later start than I wanted tonight, but let's all ganbaru Based. I'm saving up to get a 2009 Gibson LP in heritage cherry sunburst when I can find one for a reasonable price
shit, this is going to save me a ton of time, thank you! I decided to do my own because every version I found online was either the TV version, shit, or both. From a cursory glance this is way more accurate as far as Mio's part goes. It'll be a great reference, now I don't need to meticulously figure out all of the glissandos when I go to record.
Awesome. Ganbare, user! I didn't think about posting it at first because I thought everyone else didn't need it, plus the scorebook that I bought isn't really accurate. The transcribed keyboard in particular uses retardedly low voicings compared to the recording, and the outro fill has some wrong notes. Probably should've just posted it anyway.
It makes sense., since this is specified as the live version. I'm guessing this is what they used for the "Come With Me" concert series a few years back. I watched the bluray a few days ago and noticed that there were a lot of differences in that performance, this pretty much explains it. I'll be sure to review it carefully against our reference track
I mean, they are good guitars, they just cost four times as much as guitars of similar quality from other manufacturers.
Lincoln Lewis
Or you could buy a reasonably priced clone from another maker.
Levi Jackson
>cee waited weeks for this
Eli Ortiz
Yes, for 1/4 of the price. That's what I was saying.
Ryder Long
did any guitarfag deliver yet?
Austin Russell
>can't pull off husky yui >more importantly, can't record anything long like the chorus without getting audio artifacts Fucking ModMic, man. I guess I'll have to pass on the vocals.
Yeah, there's one. Not sure whether it's Yui's part or Azusa's part though. Maybe you can play the other one.
Hoping to record mine after work today, keep the thread(s) alive!
Justin Green
(new)bassfag here, I'm done transcribing but I would like a couple days to make sure I do a great job on a take for this, is it okay if I get it to you by like Friday morning? I should be dressing as a maid for maximum authenticity when I record, shouldn't I... I may submit azucat's part as well if I have time but zero promises on that I might even do vocals just for keks
>itsumo ganbaru (Itsumo ganbaru) KIMI no yokogao (KIMI no yokogao) Am I supposed to sing the stuff in brackets? Sorry it's my first time singing with Yea Forums
Jaxson Hernandez
Yes, but preferably send two different tracks where one has just the bracket stuff and the other has everything else.
Robert James
Since all the bits in brackets are echos of parts from the main melody it's not too much trouble if you don't record them since I can just copy and paste your main lines, though I'd like the 'sou nechao' after the rap though if possible.
