As for me, I very much want to like isekai. I've been playing mmos since I was a kid and the idea of reincarnating into a different world is my ideal afterlife. This genre has unlimited potential, so many possibilities for creative settings and plots.
Yet they always make it into a bland and boring, generic high fantasy no.10541 with blatant self-insert protagonist and harem. It's sad to be honest.
