Unfortunately we'll never see the end to her story. Unsure if they'd try killing her off, or instead let her live in acknowledgement of her popularity and perfection. Truth be told, I'd be fine if they just quickly wrapped up the series. Have some sort of final showdown with Shidou at the elementary school, have him killed and then get the group extracted by the military to safety. Then a short epilogue set years after 'normality' resumes.
It's lazy, but fuck at least it'd be finished. On the one hand I can understand wanting to not disrespect a writer after they've died, but on the other hand I think it's clear he didn't care for the series much himself before popping his clogs.
