Hanabi makes a suggestion that Hinata and the kids move into the Hyuga compound for awhile, since Naruto isn’t coming home often and it makes Hiashi happy to see the kids. Hinata is silent to this offer, Hanabi sees it as something bad, as if Hinata doesn't wish to see their father happy, and ends up disappointed.
At this moment Hanabi gets up, wraps a towel around her body, activates her Byakugan and challenges Hinata to a duel. The fight was to decide that matter of what Hanabi offered. Hinata thought she was kidding, then realizes Hanabi is dead serious and she gets up herself, puts a towel on, and accepts the dual. She remembers the time when her and Hanabi fought when they were younger, and how her Father treated her after Hanabi had won. Hanabi initiates the fight and both her and Hinata lash out at each other with Juken techniques. Hinata realizes she’s not nearly as in shape as she used to be, but Hanabi realizes even with being out of practice, Hinata has incredible skill.
The fight continues and Hanabi says that it is not only about Hiashi, Boruto, and Himawari. That she also wants Hinata to be happy and that Naruto had promised this when he married her sister.
Hanabi says that what would happen if Naruto came home and the house was empty? Wouldn't he feel like spending more time with his family? That moment, both prepare to attack and their arms intersect blows. Hinata says that that is different, realizing how complex Hanabi's thoughts/feelings are and Hanabi asks how it’s different.
After their arms intersect Hanabi tries to break loose, but Hinata does a reversal and throws her to the ground. Hinata looks at Hanabi and states she has won.
Hinata states that her and Naruto spent their honeymoon at this hot springs, and all the memories Hinata has of that honeymoon are still very fresh in her mind and she holds onto them dearly.
