WIT Studio will no longer be in charge of animating Attack on Titan. Their replacement will be Rumpus Animation and a team of artists will do the background work in the same capacity as Yui, however it is unclear if the animation studio will continue with the anime after this acquisition completes.

Yoko Shimomura's Attack on Titan series won the Golden Joystick Award and the award for best anime, Best Comedy series at the 27th Anime Awards. The anime series premiered in Japan on September 6, 2011. A live-action film adaptation was announced and a video game was announced earlier this summer. The anime adaptation is slated for an April 2017 release.

The decision is part of the ongoing transition at the studio from the West to Tokyo after the production company at Studio Ghibli Co., Ltd. announced Tuesday morning that it's looking at expanding its presence internationally. However, she gets drunk so quickly that she's really not able to fight back, much to the protagonist's annoyance in the end of both episode 7 and episode 9. So, in the latter half of both episodes, she was shown fighting off some of the thugs that tried to steal some supplies from her apartment when they were coming for them. This led the protagonist to decide to take out Kirschtein in the hopes that she would stop being a problem. (If you haven't been watching either episode yet, it's worth doing)
2. The Wily Villain: Eun-Ee
Another character that don't have an alcoholic beverage is the villain Eun-Ee. He does drink alcohol, but in very little quantities. He has this crazy habit on the day before he's supposed to become

WIT Studio will no longer be in charge of animating Attack on Titan. Their replacement will be Production I.G.

On November 5, the company announced that Production I.G. of America (PIA) had hired the studio to produce their next Attack on Titan anime.

On April 21, the company also revealed two new new anime cast members: Miku Minato (DRAGON BALL) to reprise her role of Garp from the original manga, as well as newcomer Risa Taneda to debut her acting debut in the anime as Minato.

On October 16th, the company announced that Production I.G. was now focusing on new television animation films, including the upcoming TV anime series Gagamaru's Big Adventure for Tokyo MX from studio A-1 Pictures (who also have the upcoming TV anime of SONIC BOOM, another hit game series about an "evil space-golf club"). Additionally, they have created four spinoffs for spin-offs with the intention of one day rerunning the same spin-off for broadcast, with one being made for free.

The decision to move on from animating Attack on Titan was not all about a lack of talent. I personally like the team of Nishioka and Fukuyama. I think they are terrific at their jobs, and the new project is not entirely without its problems, but Nishioka and Fukuyama still brought a tremendous quality to the show and I really hope they are able to work together again. That being said, this can't be the only animation studio or game studio, as fans can expect new work in the very near future for such companies as Toei.
