His confession to Kaori is specifically mentioned to have closed with the "let's be friends" line, while this scene seems like it didn't. Also, the mood here seems to have gone too far south before 8man could make his confession. On top of that, 8man mentions later in the story that there were also other girls he liked before, so I'm leaning towards this being a different girl.
