Legion Mate was unnecessary since Reverse was already a great finale to the series, but all of the ideas were fantastic. It just fell on its face executing them, tons of plot threads got great build up then just kind of petered out, like the whole traitor dude hijacking the Link Jokers.
I'd love to see a v-series rehash of the arc that just takes the same beats and gives them a bit more care.

Shipping in Vanguard has always been a ridiculous mess for some reason. I understand if creators want to avoid shipping, or if characters are teased but never end up together as a marketing thing, but in this series they bait it so much then seem to intentionally go out of their way to stomp it out if it gets popular.

Trinity Dragon vs Striders had some of the best use of lighting in G.

Funny you mention soulless since that perfectly describes VRAINS. Arc-V was bad but it owned it and was an entertaining watch. Zexal was eons better when it came to having high energy and charisma. VRAINS is so low energy in comparison. I don’t even need to mention how good the original three series were.

In hindsight, she totally was really left out of the main plot back then.

I still wanted a proper rematch for Am and Shion, I really loved how Shion didn't forgive her in stride gate so I wanted to see their relationship getting a better ending.

One thing I really like about V is how good it is at getting everyone up to speed on what’s going on and getting them all involved in the story without making them look like idiots for not knowing what’s going on.

It's why the events of Stride Gate nearly broke her.
Everybody else was shielding her from everything happening that when shit actually got real and in a really close manner, she was a wreck
To be fair, at least it made sense in G since everyone had really good reasons for keeping secrets from each other with all the under the surface shenanigans going on

So apparently Argonavis will be singing the Theme song for Vanguard EX as well as the Ending 2 of this season. For those who don't know they are Bushiroads new band that will be taking over most of the music now that Ultra Rare and Milky holmes will be out of the picture. They also already released the intro for Vanguards next chapter when the new protagonist shows up

BT was mostly garbage throughout its lifetime because it was released awkwardly where it was always 1 set behind but took a year to get new cards. It only really got tier 1 when G ended and all the sets were caught up and then Bushi gave BT a bunch of OP shit. Of course then Premium happened I don't know whats going on anymore

Argonavis is part of Bang Dream which is this huge conglomerate of Bushi owned bands. Roselia and Raise a Suilen which have already done some theme songs for VG are part of it. Poppin' Party is another one that's done songs for Buddyfight. Argonavis is the latest male oriented Bang Dream band. It's unlikely they'll be the only group and the other bands will continue to rotate doing songs for VG.

Probably the reboot just for the fact that they're put up on the official youtube channel and therefore easier to find. The original version is far superior in every way though and ultimately leads into G timeline wise(if you care about that)so if you don't mind going to sites like gogoanime or whatever to see them then go with that

I get what Aichi's going for here because in most cases you do attack the opp VG with your VG and it's simple to understand, but he should've just said when your VG attacks to give the idea that when you attack RG you get drive checks too.

Watch the new series! It's more beginner friendly I would say. You get the general gist of what Vanguard is about but you don't have to swim through as much fluff. If you end up liking it a lot then watch the original series which is longer and a bit more comprehensive.

I think this is the longest episode title in this entire franchise by far. Anyways that was a fun teaching episode even if it was a bit too basic for my tastes. Never said they're bad it's just that they got shafted when it comes to support and almost no screentime in the recent anime. At least MC got one feature in the first season and another one last week, as far as I remember spikes only showed up for like a second and died instantly and not a single tachikaze unit was seen.

Tachikaze at least has a mention on the character page unlike a certain two clans
