the early part is super shit, like 1/10 shit theres literally not a single redeeming thing about it unless you want to be angry all the time with how fucking worthless the mc is, but he grows as a character and then at the later volume its revealed there's a reason why mc is so pathetic at the start and is a huge spoiler so im skip that. if you do managed to power through the shitty first arc though it only gets better from there.

the best thing about it is really the supporting character, like the other guy said the harem is really well developed and has dynamic relationship with each other unlike the usual harem isekai shit. at some point the mc locks all the girl in some magic-memory-illusion space thing so that they get along better and they just massacred each other instead. also the ancestor are all great and fun characters but im not going to spoil this one too

The last threat that Boxxy really faced was Edward. The only other character in the story who can really provide a threat is the Boneshaper. We know that enlightened beings can only level up twice, but that limit may not apply to monsters or the undead. So Boneshaper could have a stupidly high level and multiple ulimate skills and be able to destroy Boxxy completely. When combined with his army that would be a decent last boss. The Boneshaper also seems smart, Boxxy needs an opponent who is powerful but smart.

I guess a lot of isekai authors are afraid of turning people off by having the character undergo mental changes or having their sexuality affected by the transformation, so you end up with what amounts to dudes in girls' bodies. The only genderbent isekai MC I know that wasn't a lesbian is that of Hakai Me no Yuuri.

Web novels are the reason you have this isekai craze right now. Most of the manga isekai you’ve read originated from there, syosetsu is like the core of isekai where multiple publishers harvest their works from which after being published gets turned into manga adaptions which you read. Art can help series that don’t have much going for them and are written like a diary but 90% of syosetsu works get butchered yes even if the majority of them are bottom of the barrel. What you’re reading is inferior to like you mentioned already bottom of the barrel staff so I don’t know why you refuse to read them.
