In that scene, Ainz (skeleton with extremely powerful magic) demanded they clap in reverence for his magnificence. He summoned five (I think?) baby goats, which was a record he broke from the past, and he had them clap to acknowledge how amazing he is as a result. The goats were on the same side as the knights, but they feared they'd get eaten just like the army that was wiped out in mere moments prior to the clap. The whole scene felt unnecessary and out of place, despite not being filler content.

They were clapping meanwhile they were scared to death by eldritch abominations making human paste of the enemy side.

So the big moments and the little fuck-ups alike blend in with everything more. Naruto by comparison just completely changes art styles mid-episode for a well-animated fight scene where bones stop existing and characters become caricatures of ridiculousness, sharply contrasting how stiff and rigid the series usually is.
