continuing from Picture was from the author´s twitter, back when chapter 73 was released.
Summer has ended, and since Yugami is in his last year of high school that means there´s no major baseball tournament for him to participate anymore. We see what that means for him in chapter 74.
Chapter 74 starts with teens being uncertain about their future and posting about it on the internet. I´m assuming the historical statue corresponds to Yeagashi, the symbol to Watanabe, and the cute critter to Chihiro.
In short, Yaegashi is anonymously texting that he doen´t know what he want to do after high school, then i think watanabe berates the post for being so vague, and then chihiro replies that watanabe need not be that agressive, and a flame war erupts between the two while yeagashi can only watch...
Back in class, Watanabe is surprised that Yugami has a "best friend" looking for him, and asks Yeagashi about it except he doesn´t know anything either, but thinks it makes total sense.
The reason zaizen came by was to tell Yugami that he was giving up on becoming a novelist. It turns out he was competing in a literary contest and his work lost to a sappy love story written by a junior (since it was Shimizu, guess she was writing from experience)
This convinced him that the industry had terrible taste, but Yugami told him to suck it up and either write something else or send his writings to people who will appreciate them.
Judging by his reactions, I think he liked the idea that the only reason he lost was because he sent his work to the wrong audience and thanked Yugami for his help.
Yugami himself is relieved the problem was solved, but after hearing that Chihiro wants some advice for her own future...
Chihiro doesn´t even know what she is feeling uncertain about, so Yugami just told her to write down the things she thinks about when she feels anxious.
Yugami passes by the bookstore to find some math books, and meets hayashiyama who was looking for some baseball books. He realizes Yugami isn´t aiming for a baseball scholarship or becoming a professional baseball player, and complains that Yugami is quitting their rivalry while he is ahead.
Yugami points out that he lost his last game against him, but Hayashiyama retorts that it doesn´t count because Kadota was injured and the rest of the team is mediocre.
When Hayashiyama asks Yugami to be straight with him and tell what he really thinks about him, Yugami replies that he thinks Hayashiyama is a really good pitcher.
Hayashiyama tries to leave with a poker face, but for 0,1 seconds he betrays a pure smile.
Meanwhile Yugami's grandmother is still riding that high from the semi final and tells him he should stop looking at rakugou and focus on becoming a pro baseball player. Yugami's little sister can't help but roll her eyes at grandmother's delusion that yugami looked at her during the match.
On the other hand, Chihiro realised she was feeling worried about leaving shiori with the handicraft club by herself, so she thanks Yugami for his advice. This makes Yugami wonder if he has a talent for counseling people, so he tries it by going to Yeagashi and help with his doubts.
And once again, he is sucessful, so Yeagashi tells Watanabe that doctorYugami is in the house, and will do sessions by e-mail if talking face to face is not desirable (with different words).
Oh this the one where.he just throws away his phone right? When did we caught up to the first raw chapters you started summarizing?

Even Watanabe´s friends find Yugami´s advice quite good, and as the word of mouth grows so does his demand...
Yuuko asks if he can handle so many messages, and he replies that he can. Hower, the incoming flow is so intense Yugami takes longer and longer to be able to reply, and the class in leneral start dissing him fo not being faster.
Yeagashi realizes what happened, and apologises to Yugami for leaking his adress to so many people. Yugami decides to fix this himself.
You know Yugami's stepped up the game when even Chihiro is flabbergasted.

Yugami´s solution is to THROW HIS PHONE OUT OF THE WINDOW, which reaches the pool more than 100 meters away...
He explains that he decided he doesn't need his phone anymore since he only had it for club activities, but now that he will no longer play baseball he can just ignore everyone else.
Yeagashi wants to buy him a new phone to replace it, but he thouroughly refuses it and goes back to his seat. Yeagashi just thinks he´s awesome, Yugami feels pretty great about his choice and Chihiro thinks Yugami´s parents will be mad at him, but that´s the end of chapter 74.
Wait was it edited in for the magazine release and removed for the tanks? What happend here?

I only ever saw the version with the boxers as the official one, the bikini one reportedly was a 5chan edit. It´s possible the latter could actually be the original picture as done by the artist, but in that case it would be published on the author´s twitter, and it isn´t there.
Oh I see. It's funny that the edit looks less edited than the real version.

And now for chapter 75! This one is centered around Chihiro adressing her doubts related to shiori, but it´s really about Yugami deciding on what to do once he´s not doing baseball any more.
The last school festival of the year is approaching, and the handicraft club is preparing their activities. Meanwhile, Kadota was nominated by Yugami as the new captain of the baseball, and the coach wants him to put the players to work. As for Yugami, quitting baseball means he now has a lot of free time compared to before, and he´s feeling bored.
One of Yugami´s interests is Do it Yourself, in particular working with wood objects, so he´s curious about what Chihiro is doing.
While Chihiro is working, she is wondering if handicrafts is really what her junior wants to do, since there is a possibility she just joined because she was lonely. So she is really surprised when she spots Yugami peering through the window.
Afterwards, she lays it out on the floor that she is trying to build a temporary marionette stage that hopefully will draw more people into the club, and Yugami offers to build it for her to make up for the setback. (at least this time he´s doing it with her knowledge, rather than while she is sleeping like in the preparation for the sports festival).
Later, Shiori was feeling sick, and headed straight home. Kadota then showed up, talked about how everyone in the baseball club were doing whatever they wanted, and asked for some mystical guidance.
Chihiro just asks him where he got the idea that her club was about fortune telling, and he leaves embarassed. When Yugami arrives, she asks him what he would think if the baseball club became the cricket club, but his reply is that he wouldn´t care. Chihiro decides that maybe he was the wrong person to ask, and decides to call one her seniors (the former club manager, I think)
Since her Senior replied that the club was hers now, and she could do anything she wanted with it, she decides to message shiori and ask her if she would mind cancelling the puppet show and making a fortune telling hall instead.
Since Shiori says she fine with it, in the next day she apologises to Yugami for all his work being wasted since they are not doing the puppet show anymore, and asks him what else he wants to do.
Yugami replies that he likes baseball, rakugou, castles and bowling, but that he thinks Shiori actually likes what she has been doing so far. Chihiro doesn´t get it, but he decides to keep working on the stand and she decides to go visit her junior.
Shiori´s mother is happy that she got a visitor, and guides Chihiro to her room.
It´s when Chihiro enters it, and realizes it´s filled with cute handmade things, that she realizes Yugami was right and Shiori does really like the handicraft club.
Shiori apologises for not being of any help when she´s needed, and asks if the reason the puppet show was cancelled was because of her.
As it turns out, Shiori´s problem was that while she really likes handmade things, she actually sucks at making them so she really liked to have someone to teach her and so Chihiro decides to go ahead with the puppet show after all. Then they talk about cute things.
The next day, Kadota spots Yugami in the handicraft club becasue he was playing some rakugou out loud. He asks WTF is he doing there, rather than in the baseball club if he has free time, since the team got eliminated from the fall tournament in the first round (last year, it took Houjou academy to eliminate it).
Chihiro explains that Yugami is just making a puppet stand for the culture festival to make up for the one accidentaly destroyed, but Kadota asks why don´t they just make it quickly out of cardboard.
Yugami replies that will not do, because next years´ juniors wouldn´t be able to use it and they deserve some care. Kadota is pissed off at this response, but Yugami just tells Kadota his problem is that he doesn´t follow through with his decisions, not that Kadota gets what he means...
And that´s the end of chapter 75. For chapter 76, it´s time for Yugami´s last culture festival and he is making the most out of it, but it´s Chihiro the one making the biggest step of all in the end.
Useless for what? She doesn´t even shy away from working with her hands when needed.
It´s a really nice coincidence that this chapter was posted at the same time as the chapter when Hayashiyama confronts Yugami about chihiro, but this just confirms he was just being tsundere with Yugami because he wants to be noticed by him.
Honestly i´m amazed you can actually get that idea across without making it look gay.

Better odds than never saying a word to her and hoping she notices, at least.
