After lunch, they're together in home ec class, and new friends are telling MC about some of the other students (who will appear later on): the athletic girl who always exercises, the super responsible student council pres., the gang leader delinquent; etc. The cast is all female, because of course they are.

School over, the MC returns home. Her parents are worried about how it went, more than they should be for a first-day-at-a-new-school scenario. MC waves off their concerns saying that it was fine, and she wants to take a bath and rest a bit. Quick scene of the MC in the shower with the usual body-obscured camera angles, and then skip to a close up of her lying on her bed, looking at her phone as she reflects on the day.

She says the usual stuff about hoping things well from here, and wondering about the future. She adds that she's especially worried about the future "because..."
