I've never worked with acrylic before, but I might try it. Most risers I've seen for sale are either cubes or just aren't wide enough.

It's fairly easy, just got to be careful with the cement. Acrylic cement is less glue more solvent. It chemically melts acrylic together so it will scruff up any acrylic the instant it touches. You want to be careful when applying it.

in general the top is 6''x14'' and the rods are 5 inches. Some risers and taller than others so parts of figures below them can fit under, you are making them so they can be whatever height you want them. Each riser has 5 rods in a pic related pattern so bases on the front figures can fit under the riser easier.

bootlegs are cheap and shitty because they serve an entirely different market than genuine goods. the main market of bootleg figures are the poorer SEA countries or poorfags in china, and they explicitly label them as bootlegs. the fact that newfags get baited into buying bootlegs is literally an afterthought because you're not their target market at all, and in fact only retards would actually think they can buy a genuine figure for 1/5 the price but get angry when they find out its a bootleg. no fucking shit huh? the bootleg market is more sophisticated than you can imagine and its not the wild west where a bootlegger can just make an exact replica of a genuine figure (they have the capability to do so), because there are actually legal repercussions if they do.

their bootlegs are intentionally shitty so they can produce it at a super low price and serve to a completely different market segment and make it not worth the trouble for jap companies to go after them.

I got mine at Nakano plaza while on a trip to Japan. Posters are nice since most places will give you a tube to put them in which makes them easy to transport. If you have a big enough suitcase you can stuff it in there no problem, since they don't take up much space.

After they reply they said it's not their problem and the manufacturer will not honor a warranty on figure that's been released for a few years. I dispute it with Paypal and Paypal says I need to return the item for a refund. Shipping the figure back to Japan would cost about half the figure's price.
