I used to be able to binge 2 cour anime in 1 sitting, but now I'm having a difficult time even watching a single episode without stopping to do something else (shitpost, check mail, sad panda, etc). I can make the time, but watching an entire episode seems like such a huge commitment now.
Can't binge watch anime anymore
Time to die.
Try watching shit you actually enjoy.
Are you busy with other things?
Can confirm. Most stuff I have left is so goddamn bad that I simply can't get myself to binge it anymore.
I recently finished Revue Starlight and I loved the series. But it took me ~4 sessions to finish the last episode alone. It feels like I have the attention span of a gold fish. Recently I've been trying to binge through all of Symphogear so I can watch with Yea Forums on it's next season, but watching it has been a chore, too. I like the series, but I just can't get myself to commit.
No, I can make the time. I think I just might be autistic.
>I used to be able to binge 2 cour anime in 1 sitting
If you used to regularly watch >8 hours of anime in one sitting I don't know why you'd be surprised that you started to get burned out on it.
I'm pretty sure that would happen with anything if you overdo it.
Just drop it for a while and learn Japanese. By the time you go back to it you might enjoy it again and get to enjoy stuff you already like in a different light.
ok
I've been like that, and whenever I finally watch a load of something it ends up being seasonal so now I'm waiting all week for the next one.
I watched Code Geass again and burned through that quick, that and Monster are the only anime which I can properly binge, theres nothing quite like them
I have no solution but I gotta say I do the exact same thing. Even for shows that I really LOVE. The only time I don't do this is when I watch stuff with friends
>binge 2 cour anime in 1 sitting
there you have it, you burned out.
Max I've watched is like 11 episodes I think in one sitting, I just don't have the time.
>just learn japanese bro!
Fuck off.
i think longest thing i watched was sao season 1 when it finished
Anime these seasons is fucking boring and gay anyway
I can't binge stuff anymore in general. I've long since discovered that I enjoy watching things over the course of weeks or months compared to a few days. It keeps it more fresh in my mind and I feel like I get to appreciate it more by doing so. I actually watch the majority of my anime with a friend of mine, we watch about 6 shows a season with some new and old and make time every week on Friday nights to do so - then we play vidya and stuff afterwards. We've been doing this for over 10 years, feels great man.
>check mail
How many times a day does the postman deliver mail where you need to pause your anime all the time to check the mail box?
Do you perhaps watch anime on your computer instead of TV? because when I used to watch anime on the PC I used to check Yea Forums between episodes or just fuck around the internet. Instead if I watch it on tv while lying on the couch I just have less distractions and I don't feel compelled to fuck around on the net between episodes.
I had a similar problem. I suggest taking a break or exercising more.
Are you doing brojobs to each other?
sounds like you've started understanding what reality really is
dont turn away from it
embrace it before its too late
When I first discovered anime I could watch 40 episodes of Naruto per day. It was so new and good.
But it's been a while since a piece of media felt like it demanded that I consume it. New information excites us, and we grow tired of ideas we've seen before. Innovation is an arduous task, so I doubt you'll recapture that feeling in your lifetime. It might be best to look to older works, or spread out to different interests.
If you don't have the attention span for Symphogear of all things then you should really seek help.
>40 episodes of Naruto per day
It's because anime sucks. We only watch it because the jews don't control it (yet), but that doesn't make it good.
I somehow watched all of k-on in one sitting--with lots of alcohol--but it wouldn't have been possible if not for the fact it was my first sol cgdct. I don't know what it would take to get myself to binge something like that again. At least I don't remember most of it, thank fucking god.
Watch some short form shows. I recommend Oshiete Galko Chan.
Y'all niggas really don't like being told to go out and learn/do shit, get the fuck over it and get off your ass, wagecuck
I used to think like you but LoGH proved me wrong. It's a matter of finding shit you really want to see.
I'm practically learning it just listening to them talk. But I would never invest brain space lolograms, I'd rather remove the brain space. What the hell is wrong with asians that their written languages are so fucked up? That shit is an embarrassment. How are they still using it. This isn't a matter of using some shitty unit system or something, it's an insane symbol system that is not suitable for effective human usage.
>ya'll
you need to go back
I thought I had the same problem, but it turned out that I was just watching shows I didn't really want to watch. Entertainment is supposed to entertain.
If you can't even sit through the finale of a show whose premise and story you enjoyed, then it's just burnout. Take a break, watch some shorts, or just make some good food or whatever, until you feel the desire to get immersed in a show again.
I will have this to say, though: sometimes a show can be interesting, but you might wish the characters would talk a bit faster, or to leave less silence between lines. That's a pacing problem some shows/episodes seem to have. Revue Starlight's was like this for me; I had to re-do it with snacks prepared and everything, to fill out the show's "filler". Other times the shows are just blatantly were trying to drag minute things out to stretch for time, but once things get going (because arcs...) then it becomes more easily enjoyable.
Are you watching anime shows you like or think you have to like because Yea Forums tells you so?
>using y'all in an internet slang fashion
Reddit's that way.
I've seen Madoka Magica, Magical Girl Spec Ops Asuka, Yuuki Yuuna, Magical Girl Site, Magical Girl Rising project, and (more recently) Revue Starlight. Symphogear isn't doing anything new for me, although I'm still on season 1 episode 5.
Nice blog. Treat your addiction.
>implying there's any notable difference between fags on Yea Forums, fags on reddit, and fags on literally any social media website
Sorry, but your deflection doesn't save you from being cookie-cutter copies of one another, good try though
Meditate at least 10 minutes every day.
Symphogear is a Nana Mizuki advertisement. It's completely different from those other shows, so you'll definitely be disappointed if that's what you're looking for.
Maybe you're just a brainlet.

It's because 99% of anime is the same, once you've watched a few dozen you've essentially watched nearly all of them. Anime will never be fun again for you as it once was.
>We
Faggot.
I haven't seen LotGH yet, since I heard anime won't be the same after watching it. Is it finally my time?
