Going to Japan in 2 weeks, should I go see Promare for the cinema experience, or just wait for the eventual subs?

Cinema experience

...

Do you know Japanese? Then go.
Do you not know Japanese? Then don't go.

I watched Lost Butterfly once in Japan for the experience and then watched it again subbed in the states. Even though I didn't understand anyhing the Japanese screening was really nice because there weren't any autists laughing during sex scenes/shinji scenes

Cinema experiences being what they are, unless it is opening day crowd hyped-up excitement (like Avengers Endgame), I prefer the spaciousness and freedom of being at home.

If it's your first time to Japan (and you plan to go back again soon), do whatever you want. If it is a rare trip for you, then being more organized with your time will help you experience more and different Japanese events, places, foods, and customs. If there are products you want to check out and/or buy, that is the time. As you get stuff, you can box it up and ship it that evening in your hotel room. Don't seal boxes until you have finished taking it to the japanese post office or shipper as they might want to check contents. A strategy would be to travel to Japan with one of your luggage containing packaging materials (cardbox boxes, tape, labels, etc.

If you have online friends, you can take some of their shopping requests with you. I've done that before. They'll give me $400 to $2000 to look for and buy certain items (within reason). Of course, don't do this for people you don't know and who don't know your ability to discern and inspect items before purchase. I've been with some of my friends for decades and they and I know each others' tastes and abilities fairly well. So it's possible to buy things on open purchase (aka "If it looks like I'd want it, then buy it for me"). You can help your friends out this way.

I don't speak a lick of Japanese and I wish I could go to Japan just to see this movie. But I can't, and it hurts.

I can't believe it's almost here.

How long do movies even generally stay in theaters? I'll go to Japan in august and would love to see Promare, but somehow I doubt it'll still be playing.

Galo x Lio is cute and canon.
