what'd it say?
>Fucking Biollante Kaiju battles while talking a selfie.
I like how main girl dresses
さんかい. I'm unsure of what it means here
>manga for ants
no thanks
So is the God pissed at her or did it thank her?
leave ants alone
I'm lacking cultural context to decipher which version of "Sankai" he's saying. I don't think he's pissed, though.
"Monster girl"
That's one definition. Not sure if that's the one the dude is using.
It would make more sense in the situation if those guys think of her as an abomination.
Sankai could also be 散会, which would be something like "It is done".
They don't look angry.
And yes. That Sankai is what I was thinking was most likely. Calling an end to their transaction or meeting.
There's a whole deal of yokai speech before they say sankai. So maybe we need that to understand what it means.
>write a story about the same thots taking selfies at a war memorial
>but with yokai & kaiju
True, with her payment and praying being part of that transaction. "It is done" still fits.
Anything before sankai is just gibberish that only looks like distorted japanese. There's no way to tell. For all we know, that thing asked its two followers for some clarification over her wish.
Well, just going by context, with how he's scattering those feathers over her, I think he's giving her his blessing in some way. Being the god of this shrine, after all. It looks like he's asking his shrine maidens if she's the one who summoned them or something.
"Something was done, but it's probably fine."
You know maybe the whole reason for the distorted speech between the yokais is for us/protagonist girl to be confused about it. So the word "sankai" carries multiple meaning that can never be truly explained. In a mundane way, you could say "oh thats just the yokai saying "its done" for the wish" but in a more sinister way, those could be discussing about the yokai girl. Our protagonist may even be left confused on what the yokai is saying since she only heard one word from them so she doesn't know whether they were calling her a demon or whether they were answering her/friends's wish/prayers and thus her suffering continues.
For all we know it's just shorthand for "山海の珍味", and he's praising the feast she brought him. But in the end, she thinks things are "probably fine" so I don't think she senses any hostility or dislike from them.
>Not putting the monster in the background using the exact same color as Yea Forums's own BG, so the monster only appears when you highlight the post.
Cute ants.
But if I'm going to seriously analyze this, our MC is scared as fuck when the yokai are talking about her and the God reaches out to her, starting to ask for help in her head. After the big dude drops those feathers on her and says his thing before leaving, she thinks she's probably fine.
I think "God" here is just genuinely benevolent, or rather he likely gets his food from people coming to his shrine with problems caused by malignant spirits, so he has no ill will to those who bring him his lunch.
I can't be arsed to do that, but I hope this is enough
You're reaching too much into the whole "ill will" aspect. Once you get rid of that assumption, you get a neutral spectator or in this case a curious/friendly spectre.
Huh? I just said it was friendly. It ate the spooky ghost. Meaning our MC just brought him lunch.
Of course it's not unfriendly. It's the God of the shrine. Helping people, for whatever reason, is what it does.
delet this
But to explain what I mean, we saw in the previous chapter that a sufficient concentration of these spirits can render an area cursed. These things aren't harmless. Spooky ghost dude here was able to decurse the place, and grow in power, by eating all he others.
I think "God" works on the same principles but has been around for much longer. People come to the shrine with problems, at least a few of which might be caused by spirits, and "God" eats them. Growing in power and ridding his worshipers of their problems at the same time.
SPOOKY
Glanced through a bit of this series,
I hope it comes over here soon.
It's been a while since i felt excited to see the full dialog
Miko's prayer got answered but he didn't bring Hana any food??
>even the shrine gods are spooky horrors
Mieruko is the tops
It could be a pun and it's actually both? Calling her as the real monster while saying the deed is done as well.
That would suck if she actually saw an actual Angel of the biblical kind then. Those things are eldritch abominations and woule make these things look lame.
>tfw get a description of these fucks every week at liturgy
Yeah, seraphim are a nightmare. Six winged, many-eyed indeed
So how long until Mieruko goes to visit a church for an exorcism?
Make this a Yea Forums poster please.
Mieruko chan is so cute, i wish I could hug her and kiss her sexy lips.
You mean like a baptism?
How much does making someone an exclusive enkou cumdumspter cost these days?
$150 a night for middle schoolers. $200 for highschoolers.
I don't think only being able to see ghosts warrants being called a monster, considering her best friend is the actual monster magnet here.
>JC cheaper than JK

The word isn't even "the deed is done". It's usually translate as "adjourned", basically announcing that their business/meeting is concluded. If that's the right word. I think the god is just being a proper god in its own creepy way, and not insulting anyone.
It's being proper polite, though I don't know the significance of dropping those "flower petals" over her.
JK's understand that they can ask for more.
For all we know, maybe her ability to let her see ghost is some really dark abyssal shit.
It could be the remains of the ghost it ate.
I think the point was that humans seem ridiculous and monstrous to the spirits. Imagine how disgusting it must be to have only two adjacent eyes and fewer than five heads.
Nice.
The "Sankai" is not what you'd call to a girl who can "just see" ghosts. But rather they are monsters who take the form born of humans at conception. Its possible the girl can see monsters because she is a monster, not because she's a girl.
It's probably not that since it makes the bullying so far seem justified. We can't have our MC be let off that easily.
Kek.
imagine her friend dying one day and her not noticing haha
I'm pretty sure she'd notice her friend becoming a terrifying creature
her dad didn't
Imagine her friend having been dead this entire time and she never noticed.
