I don't think I've met a fan who only likes one and outright hates the other even if they haven't seen it. The "war" between them is as manufactured as you can get.
Nicholas Perry
Oh I know what this threads going to turn into, I know how Yea Forums works. Doesn’t take away from the fact liking both series is the way to go
Kayden Rodriguez
The whole war is about people shitposting while larping as hunterchads and OPfags taking it way too seriously. These "hunterchads" appear in every shounen threads on this board.
Leo Reed
Hunterchad reporting in. Back in December I chose to start One Piece, rather than re-read or watch both anime while waiting for new chapters to come out. I'm now at Zou after just finishing Dressrosa, and have come to the verdict that One Piece is not only very good but also enjoyable and consistent.
I know, I just think it’s ironic that these people calling other people brainlets are the true brainlets. The whole left brain philosophy that Hunter “chads” seem to live by is the reason this world is so fucked up. You need a balance.
Jose Gonzalez
At last peace between two fandoms. The shitposters won't allow this.
188295217 This falseflagging nigger is try to start a flame war. Don’t fall for his pathetic bait and don’t give him any (You)s

I dropped HxH in like the 4th chapter, where that old lady gave them the thought experiment/theoretical where they had to choose whether to save their mother or lover, and the correct answer was "LOL there is no answer, don't respond." I imagine the rest of the series is just as full of pretentious and pseudo-intellectual bullshit.
Grayson Walker
Agree, One Piece have more emotions and better fights but HxH have something... an inherent sense of quality.
As much as I like One Piece I would piss in it's "emotions", they worked when I was a kid and when it was fresh but Oda only makes cheap drama, he is rehashing the same thing over and over again, tragic backstory scene out of the ass or the one right after that with someone dying and the character crying all over. Always the same shit and the hack keeps doing it 20 years after.
Asher Murphy
Naruto has more emotional moments than one piece.
Samuel James
What if Hunter X Hunter left me bored after the ant arc, and I fucking hate One Piece after CP9? What if the only chidhood shounen I still follow is Kinnikuman?
Liam Jenkins
Shitposting has really come a long way

HunPiece Chad planting my flag here to say that we are the kings of Yea Forums. Both series have transcended into scholastic classics.
Fellow HunPiecebro here, I’m glad for this thread. I hope that someday soon the hunterchad falseflagging may come to an end and we can all enjoy some of the best shounen has to offer together.
Future King my hairy ass! Tserriednich is my future King and the only rightful King of Kakin Kingdom. That little cunt won’t stand a chance; she and her pathetic copycat sister.
While I won't watch or read OP nor gonna like it, but I think it is possible for the two of us to live in harmony, peace and coexisting without this childish ridicilous flame war. I can speak for myself that I wont't be the one to break the peace, so the rest is up to you.
i read OP before HxH, i found it AWESOME, i thought it was obviusly the best shounen, but when i tasted the flavour of Hunter, all my way of thinking changed; i've always loved psychological, and if you give me a shounen with a psychological factor THAT WELL WRITTEN, i will just say "perfection"
seriously, Hunter is best shounen, One Piece is incredibly well created, but it's a sad second place
This thread is disgusting and full of OPfags posing as HxH fans. Anyone with a brain who has actually read Wan Piss will agree that its a childish and demential story. Pathetic.
I've never consumed One Piece other than some episodes on Cartoon Network way back when but HxH is most definitely my favorite shonen. I wish I could judge One Piece but I've already seen all of Dragon Ball / DBZ / Super and all of Naruto and don't think I could stomach such another long series. Also knowing that the entire main cast in One Piece is still alive after 1000 chapters kind of ruins suspense if I were to try it
Some people in universe of HxH thinks that nen is magic tricks and cheap sorcery.
Ryan Moore
I like both but prefer HxH, One Piece got repetitive to me and dragged for too long, but holds up to this day some of my favorite scenes ever, such as Luffy smiling before dying, and Nothing happened.
Pouf had him call Pitou and tell her about Komugi. Pouf shows up later and says to the King in front of Welfin that he knows his secret. It makes sense.
>halfbrainers trying to start a console war Go back to Yea Forums
Hunter Martinez
It is known.

My problem with HxH is honestly the hiatuses it’s so long between each chapter now that you have to pretty much read through the whole series whenever a new chapter comes out to have any idea of what’s going on. And I’m not a big fan of gore so I don’t like going back to it that frequently

Based. My biggest gripe with one piece is it's too spread out, and I don't possibly have the time to watch it all. My biggest gripe with Hunter x Hunter is there's nothing left to watch :
James Torres
>watching One Piece Use One Pace if you really want to though
Gabriel Gutierrez
Thanks user. It is not amazing quality as an anime, but it is reliable and comfy. Good fight scenes at times.
Sebastian Gutierrez
If you're over 15 and still read or watch either of them, you should kys asap. Shonen is aimed at children and teenagers.
Logan Morgan
>after all these months the general still can't be sustained so the fandom has to attach itself other random ones in order to keep threads alive like some Yea Forums parasite
