If you haven't check it out yet, I made a mini-album/collection of k/a/raoke that takes place in our threads. Download link contains full versions and even more content not featured in the video. youtu.be/4OfONWQaMaU Since the reception was positive, you can expect another volume so long as more anons participate as time goes on.
Lastly, I will push the deadline for GochiUsa and Ping Pong past May 31st, I understand most of you faggots aren't out of school yet. So please share your voice with me?
And for the bumpfags, I dedicate this original song to you for your endless efforts on keeping these threads alive. vocaroo.com/i/s0mH1T8WWiir - Cee
The song is about posting without a trip and post diction, because no matter if I post without a trip, consistent images, or anything that gives me away, somehow you ret/a/rds know exactly it's me.
We can work something out, if I give you the time you need, how soon would you deliver?
Easton White
End of May. That's it. No more, no less Thanks. Oyasumi
Michael Williams
That was already the plan, I haven't made a SUPER official announcement but I'm going to extend it to a week into June. It's in the spoilers. Thank you, user.
the deadline for fuwa fuwa time was May 24th, right?
James Parker
If Kei doesn't show up ITT, I could ask her to reply to your emails next time. Yup. At least her video says so. I haven't received any note from her for any change so I assume that's still the plan.
Spent an hour on this when last thread day. Should I try again and do it better? vocaroo.com/i/s0s8fiC4FDi3
Jacob Perez
I remember you user, sorry. I was just too late and the thread died. I was gonna say FUCK YES, YOU'RE IN. At this point, I'd be asking you to come back every Yea Forums sings to do a funny cover for us. Are you really the same macho man from Watamote?
Anthony Morris
>the same macho man from watamoto Ha, I wish. Desperately so. All I am is the cancer lung yakuza guy from Soramimi Cake. I'll try and lend my voice to the other Yea Forums sings, all I need are good drinks.
Noah Baker
Welcome, you know where our emails are. I do recognize you too. Stay hydrated, stay drunk if you need to, because I'm planning to get us to sing out of our 'collective Yea Forumsss' soon enough. That is, if Yea Forums can stand me long enough, seems I outstayed my welcome before.
How do you sing what’s inside the parenthesis without sounding like an autist going out of breath?
Aaron Lee
Separate takes, then decide to either send two files, one containing the main vocals and a second track containing the bracket/backup vocals. Or, you could mix and render them into a single file, but I would much rather prefer the first option but I won't hold you back either way.
Carter Price
Understood. Thanks! I take it most people are doing this?
William Lewis
They do either. No worries on my end. I'll even email you if there is anything particular I need from your submission. Good luck, user.
Yep the deadline is still may 24th I try to reply to everyone but if you were the zip folder guy or the bassist then my apologies I got your submission and forgot to reply. Aren't we all little girls here?
As a general update, currently at 18 voices and 3/4 instruments, still need a guitarist.
Angel Lee
Good timing, I was getting ready to get the mixers organized into a server. I'll drop an email and we'll all join from that.
Aiden Butler
singfags, a 24 hour invite is floating around but I won't tell you where it is. I don't know what you would gain from joining, but it's there.
only a couple from Yea Forums sings 10-15 or so original users from our even more super sekret Yea Forums club - sorta now defunct. I just didn't feel like I had to make a whole new server just for this gig.
Status report, GochiUsa has 6, Ping Pong has 5 so far. I do have anons who plan on delivering soon so this'll go up for sure. But I'm still begging for more, please.
I miss JC Hina and Anzu. Anime Hina was the cutest thing ever.
Carter Myers
I think that's just how they served their purpose. Nitta on some occasions can't come to terms of Hina growing up, he shows a fatherly woe when Hina stops eating Nitta's school lunches in preference for cafeteria food. When you see them in their precious years and then grow up, you can't help but want more from the same. Anzu grew up to be such a good girl, it was just too much to see her as such a reasonable young adult. I mean, they're still in high school but you know how some characters were made to fit the theme and context.
poor bassfag here i refrained from playing guitar because my brain is too small to stick multiple finger on the fret at one time also mio is cuter than yui
hey, I can't find a time to record but i have the shorter op version of daydream cafe recorded, would it be possible to mix my shorter version in with the full song?
Leo King
It is, but you don't think you have even in the first week of June? Regardless, thank you. Just that I made sure to extend past May just because I know people don't have enough time during exam month.
Benjamin Green
I should just probably restate that I am extending to June 8 for GochiUsa and Ping Pong. I hope that is more than enough time to practice. Hopefully.
I finally managed to learned the lyrics, I wanted to do a small sample record and here is, it 's raining right now, so I'm sorry for the noise. vocaroo.com/i/s1w3GItNhv3c I'm more sorry for my voice, I really suck at signing. I'll record it clean other day, I probably will try to improve it, but I don't if there's something I can do...
I've been singing Daydream Cafe for two days, but I'm never satisfied with any take. I'll try again in two weeks after I get back from Japan being a total fucking weeb.
> I get back from Japan being a total fucking weeb. Congratulations man.
Brayden Green
You're rough in the edges, but I see polish. My biggest concern is to stay in sync of the song, which I see your getting alright. Also background noise, I don't know if that's a fan or something but I'd like to hope you can minimize it when you email me. If you can't, so be it. It's not as bad as the ones I had for Bunny Girl. That was hell. >I'm more sorry for my voice, I really suck at signing You know "good" singing is not a requirement here, right? I want you to have fun first, that's what matters. >I probably will try to improve it, but I don't if there's something I can do... Whatever happens, you have my support. Good luck, faggot. Audacious See you then, user.
Tyler Russell
Does it matter which version of Bokura ni Tsuite we sing along with?
>Also background noise It's raining right now but I still wanted to record something, next time I will make sure to record it without external noises, don't worry. Wow, you actually saved that?
...that actually is pretty decent noise suppression. I already have a lot of staff on hands. But when the next project over, and I for some reason need more people. I will hit you up. I think they're the same tempo. Feel free to correct me. But I put both on there because I like the second version better. Like I said, no sweat. Rest easy, user.
John Evans
The second version, "Ano Yoake Mae No", definitely works better for a big group cover!
Why do you insist on keeping a thread up constantly? And why are you always planning multiple Yea Forums sings at once? It’s kind of annoying and Yea Forums sings has really lost its appeal for me recently due to this.
Samuel Brooks
>Wow, you actually saved that? Well, yes, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to try restoring it. I'm still a beginner at this so I jump on every opportunity to get some practice, especially if it's potentially useful to someone. D-don't get the wrong idea or anything, baka!
Hudson Wright
I see what you mean, but the Fuwa Fuwa Time Yea Forums sings originated from the K-On anniversary threads so it's different and still has the appeal in my opinion.
Gavin Smith
>Why do you insist on keeping a thread up constantly? If didn't, it'd take forever to reach several anons on a good day. This way, everyone has more than enough time to see it. No excuses, "I would've joined, but I never saw a thread." And as for mixers before me, it happens a lot. We just get the decent couple good ones once per year. Most of the time, you don't even know it was a thing. >And why are you always planning multiple Yea Forums sings at once? I'll let you in on something. Bunny Girl and Zombieland were fairly requested, I didn't want to decide between them so I did them both. While this was happening, I attracted another mixer who was doing Azumanga in celebration of the show.
Similar premise for Round 2, only the first two songs were decided on a vote than me going around threads for interested anons. Kei user was already doing this in celebration of Keion, and became part of Round 2 after being interested in the idea. "2 mixers, 3 projects, your voice" was the motto. >It’s kind of annoying and Yea Forums sings has really lost its appeal for me recently due to this. Well damn, I'm sorry. I'm taking a break after this anyways. Just don't make it hard on other projects from other mixers after me. I am collabing and/or organizing with a lot of them, just not directly involved. Or is that also bad?
Yeah, okay. I'll ease out after this. I just wanted to do some classics with Yea Forums for Round 2. But the thing is that all whole of us are already prepping for a big this summer, I hope I didn't ruin it.
Carter Young
I know that and I don't have a problem with Yea Forums sings Fuwa Fuwa Time either. In fact, I have participated. But that doesn't change the fact there's two other needless projects going on together with it.
James Morris
>If didn't, it'd take forever to reach several anons on a good day. But scarce threads were like fun chance event encounters, and those projects still generally got similar or more number of participating anons than your projects. Largely because they were relevant (seasonal oped, celebration, etc.). >I am collabing and/or organizing with a lot of them, just not directly involved. Or is that also bad? Bearable, as long as there are no more Yea Forums sings generals solely filled with your namefaggotry.
Hunter Parker
>two other needless projects Feel like that was just against me, I always figured GochiUsa and Ping Pong were must-dos that never got around. And Yea Forums sings Ping Pong OP got taken down too. The votes don't lie either, a lot of people were interested in either Jojo, GochiUsa, and Ping Pong. But I WAS gonna save Jojo for later. Screw it, I'll just see if anyone else likes it. >But scarce threads were like fun chance event encounters Now that's just a shit excuse for saying you wish these threads were less frequent. The later is a better argument. >those projects still generally got similar or more number of participating anons than your projects Yea Forums sings Yamada-kun, Overlord, Kagerou Daze, had considerably less submissions, just to name several examples. And there had been quite a lot of Yea Forums sings that never make it out because of the lack of submissions.
>namefaggotry I'll namedrop if I'm around, but never went around with a trip, or used my name as authority against others. I haven't done anything besides help or encourage anons.
But I get it, I'll stop for a while. it was uncalled for calling these generals. How else are you going to organize these things?
Hey, man. Let's call it quits for today. I won't stop you if you wish to continue, but if Kei user ever makes a thread, bump hers instead. Gonna lay low before I make things worse here.
Don't let one fag who doesn't know how to have fun discourage you
John Johnson
Save your energy for Fuwa Fuwa Time. I'm not letting this thread drag out any longer.
Matthew Gray
Man, that attitude of yours is the closest thing to "drama" we've had. There aren't any serious problems, just carry on with this project and take the advice next time. We do still need a guitarist for Fuwa Fuwa and keeping this thread alive helps remind the people who were already thinking of doing it.
Oliver Hernandez
Okay then, let's do it for Fuwa Fuwa Time then.
Nathan Allen
I found it moderately amusing that the filename got truncated to fu...g
