When will you start watching Mobile Suit Gundam (1979)?
When will you start watching Mobile Suit Gundam (1979)?
Never, because I don't like mech-shit.
>he still thinks gundam is only about big robot
The NPC room is two doors down.
3 years ago or so.
Right after I've finished that series done by Gundam Fan Club.
I already did.
>You should watch HxH instead. Now THAT'S anime for real men.
I have seen it years ago. Texas Colony Duel is the best episode and Gyan is the greatest mecha of all time
I tried and gave up. It's just so boring.
You know what, I have it on my hard drive so I’ll start watching today.

She deserved better
Already did years ago, Victory is the only UC Gundam show I haven't seen.
I did but I preferred Zeta, either way fuck Gundam ZZ, I'll just skip it and watch the rest
Funnily enough, I just started watching Gundam a few days ago, I downloaded a bunch of them at one time and I'm on 0079 right now, I usually don't like mecha but after watching a few different mecha series I actually found myself liking it
Everyone in 79 deserved better, except maybe Char and Gihren
I feel like there’s an odd perception that mecha anime is purely something about people fighting in robots, like some generic battle shonen. But Gundam has always been a space opera first, and even larger a war story.
i hope you’re not referring to evangelion
Last year
Macross.

Amuro and Mirai are the White Base's cutest
Too busy being a Zetachad
but I want to watch Turn A
I watched 0079 two years ago, and my feelings on it haven't changed since. Characters that could have had interesting arcs or a considerable impact on the plot get killed off too early, and the story as a whole feels like it's made up as it goes along. Despite having a couple of great moments and being an inspiration for the entire genre, it didn't really motivate me to watch the other Gundam series.
>and the story as a whole feels like it's made up as it goes along
Only the newtype stuff made me feel this way.
>it didn't really motivate me to watch the other Gundam series
Kamille autism memes are what made me want to watch Gundam. Imagine my reaction when almost everything autism related is fucking canon. Zeta's first episode is so fucking insane you can't help watching more.
