As far as this show is going, it's predicable (which is fine) what could be improved is to make senko more curious about nakedo work life since this literally her only purpose on this show, is to relax nakedo but it is very dry since she isn't aware of this and acts oblivious (800 years btw) even tho she's been watching him for a long time for example: Why is Nakano working so hard? Why must he work so hard? what benefit does it do to work hard? and how can senko improve nakano improve lifestyle to better accommodate with his time, so far this show is only monopolizing on the whole 800 year old loli doing "motherly" work, which is totally fine but then it gets dumb when you know that an 800 year old loli God doesn't do much rather than fluff, clean and give back wash

and as for her girlfriend/wife side as she claims, this is done well but not well enough, while she is loving and caring there is little to her character, she doesn't feel real, whenever she gets mad it gets replaced with moe, whenever she shows signs of caring it gets replaced with moe_face.jpg rather than sitting down and exploring what makes her moe and interesting (backstory, personality, deep dedication to her work ((which she does well)) ) it just gets replaced with moe. and as a wife she never talks with nakado about his future or his plans for his life, such as expenses, kids and his philosophical thinking that keeps him going and working at a crappy job? why doesn't he strive for another field? how is this affecting his mental health overall? but this failed to be touched on the show ... sadly

Sure it can be political, but this anime/manga is not nor does it try to be. Some things should be political and something should be apolitical. This is an anime/manga that is designed to cater towards overworked salarymen who are barely getting by and gives them a form of escapism. That's all there is to it, nothing more nothing less.
