I think that the Code Talkers themselves are a bit too "honest" even though their support is busted. In terms of what's the best to end a combo on you have basically Powercode and Shootingcode, maybe linked to Excode for protection.
If they got some new support that functions like Zarc's Magicians and let the deck use a maxed out Darkfluid without clogging their deck and ED with alternate summoning mechanics and then get a real boss monster that's packing a solid 4 negates then the deck could make meta.
Also Yuya, Yusei and Judai had meta archetypes for a while although Yuya needed to splash in Performages and Dracoslayers, Yusei needed to splash in Plants and Judai's was not at all based on his anime cards.

If you assume that his S1 main deck HEROes all had a Metamorphosis transformation (+6) as well as all the Neo-Spacians having a NEX equivalent (+4), as well as each NEX Neo-Spacian having a Neos Fusion (+5), 46 monsters.
You can almost get it to 50 if you give him Cosmo, Brave, and Nebula Neos.
And despite the insane cards that he pulls out of nowhere in every duel, he supposedly only has a main deck of 40 cards because of the time he dueled that mill guy his deck size can be found from how much he gets milled and how much he draws.

I really enjoyed how clearly they make the point that DarkFluid is a direct upgrade of Firewall as opposed to the the rest of the Cyberse Dragons which were more side-grades.

And that just made it all the more stupid. They gave Playmaker a card he didn't need, which is a retrain of a card he already could have used to win, which also requires him to go out of his way to summon and immediate toss other aces.

The other Cyberse are not even side grades to firewall. Only xceed is. Clock dragon is a clock wyvern retrain and Cyberse quantum is probably upgraded cyberse synchron.

This is the most emotive moment of the whole episode. Was it really necessary to literally crush him?

Just watched the new episode.

It was actually a pretty decent way to defeat Bohman. PM pulling some crazy combos and the multiple Ignis attack was cool.

Though as some of you mentioned, Powercode Talker could have ended this on its own. Dumb writers just had to make Perfectron immune to the effects of Link monsters with lower rating or give it targetting protection to avoid such an obvious missplay.

I it was 5/10 at the start but 100+ episodes in I can barely give it a 3 out of 10.

Loved this episode. The ignis giving up their lives in order to give Ai the link 5 and that whole scene was very emotive. The way Yusaku summoned Cyberse Magician and the xyz dragon to give counters to his link 5 was also amusing to watch. Finally, the battle of counters was so cool, with Bohman being so smug and his face when he eventually discovered he was trapped by the link 5's effect was priceless. It reminded me on how I would trap my oponent's light and darkness dragon with my level eater in the good old days but way more intense.
I liked it that they made Bohman's final moments very emotive with him walking with Haru while the mirror link vrains collapsed. I really really loved this episode from beginning to end.
Looking forward season 3 now!
