JUST decided to suck Ainz's dick from the very first moment and decided to make him the highest noble of his Empire, not even considering allying against him. Gazef doesn't die. Brain becomes a vampire. Arche doesn't die, but in the second part she just gets stuck in a house in the 6th floor with her sisters, effectively being removed from the plot.

From what i understood using the mtl on today's part the ECDL deck is actually viable against players(apart from that overpriced soul destroying beam).
He, however, does not know how to use his hand for shit and is too prideful to retreat after wasting a few 100 years worth of souls

That's a common problem in MMOS. You just spam your most potent attack over and over. After all, why should you switch it up? You're just making less damage by not using your most efficient attack.

You could argue Maru got a tendency when Ainz fights a big one its usually something that would counter his main necromancer gimmick.

Goats were just a way to kill all the yuriniggers in a single strike so ECDL didn't get scared too soon and tried to flee.
The actual summons were just a plus. If he wanted he could have opened with Pantheon and have the cherubs erase the undead fucker with high-tier holy magic nukes.

And mana is a limited resource during the fight. Reality Slash is the best spell for dealing with enemies that can't evade. It's his highest damage spell, no point on using a spell that costs 5% less of mana to do 10% less damage.

And another thing. While there was few top lvl battles, it was always Ainz as lvl 100 PK. still waiting for one where he finally get to fight as supreme overlord of death. SPLAT doesnt count, while epic it was all just one spell in the end so he barely did anything.

You remember that Satoru put on a spell that has them basically stick to him? Let alone flying away would have him likely just cast something to stop his movement, which the fissure ALSO got covered already.

The two spells he cast were to stop teleportation and that was roughly midway through the fight. Fissure wasn't until he was already surrounded and getting beaten down by a bunch of goat monsters for awhile already. He had plenty of time to say fuck it and just go into the air and not even deal with them. I guess you could chalk it up to him being inexperienced or underestimating Ainz, but why bother dealing with the hassle of minor creatures when he can just avoid them and focus on Ainz?

ECDL's strongest attack is useless against Ainz since he carries a WCI on him all the time, and destructive spells with high AoE can remove the yurinigger armour relatively quickly, and he has no long-distance offensive options. In hindsight the best decision Cure Elim could've made was to teleport to another DL while Lopsided Teleport was in effect and immediately use world separating wall to stop Ainz from escaping,
